Cielito Lindo Restaurant II

Called a friend for a Mexican restaurant .He said I couldn't go wrong. Enjoyed our meal and we'll be back. Yum!

I stopped by today for a quick lunch and was seated quickly. The waiter took my order and chips and salsa came out just as I sat down. I order the fajita taco plate with rice and beans which also came out relatively quickly but when the plate arrived I noticed that it was dirty. Food was caked on the plate and it had some sort of grime. I'm pretty adventurous but this is a risk I'm not playing with. The manager was informed of the situation. 2 s for the service but not so much cleanness.

Very underwhelmed. I came in right as they were opening. There a strong smell of cleaning products & something foul masked underneath it. I ordered chalupas.. the crispy tortilla part was actually in the shape of a bowl & placed upside down with lettuce heaped on top of it complete with two pieces of tomatoes. Not great at all. I sent it back in exchange for good old fashioned cheese enchiladas. I had asked for beef but wasn't going to fuss again. The rice was mushy & it tasted like it had just been heated up in the microwave. The chips were super greasy and the salsas were weird. The green was strangely sweet. Their prices were the best part.

This was a gem of great tasting food and margaritas. We had chimichanga and cheese enchiladas. The chips and salsas tasted delicious and definitely homemade. The service was attentive and we felt like friends.

We are new to this cute town and we were very hungry. Drove by it a few times and there was always people eating on the patio. Fajitas were great.Kids food great.Ambiance, drinks and service great! I recommend it if you're looking for a good lunch or dinner.

I ordered the #2 and my wife ordered #1 dinner. The beef taco wasn't seasoned. The chili con queso on top of a overturned shell had about 1 tablespoon of cheese on it. Maybe 1/4 of the shell had cheese. I ordered a beef enchilada with onion on top and the waiter repeated the request. No onion and there was a chunk of ground beef inside the enchilada that was pink inside and again the only seasoning I tasted was the chili con carne on top of the enchilada. We weren't overly impressed.

I've had better Mexican food in other cities I wouldn't recommend eating here at all.

Om gosh. Service slow, inattentive, language barrier. Prices average. Chips old and stale. Table salsa weak, lacks depth and flavor. Portions also average. Huevos Ranchero was sh... beans watery, eggs cold, no tortillas. Wt ever? I am not sure of the allure here. Had better food truck food. Seek out better places to spend your money.

The food is always so good! The servers are so kind and they always remember us. The experience is amazing. The TV is always going and the place is very clean. 100% recommend!

BEST MEXICAN FOOD in Texas !!!Great Margaritas, full bar, cold beer and huge menu of home cooking a la Mexicana. Never left hungry. Big portions.Very fast friendly service. CLEAN. Check out the great brunch on Saturdays and Sundays (starting @ 7:30 a.m.).
