Gulf Seafood Restaurant and Live Crawfish Wholesale

This is my new favorite crawfish spot! Their garlic butter crawfish is soo good and is only $5.99 a pound. The oysters and rice dishes are delicious too. The servers are really friendly. Will definitely continue coming here for my crawfish fix with beers because it's BYOB.FYI They also sell live crawfish and crab!

I have been here several times, and the crawfish is on point. Even when the crawfish was ordered togo, it still tasted fresh and seasoned. For the price, it cannot get any better than this! I also really like their prawns in the pepper salt sauce. The restaurant is new and clean, and the servers were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back. I have told my family and friends about this place, and they have all come back several times.

There's alot to say here. I came at a time before the dinner rush, if they even had one, on a weeknight, needless to say, this means it wasn't busy at all. The server was nice and offered us their weekday deal, if you bought 5 lbs they gave you 1lbs for free. I orderd 4 lbs of garlic butter and 2 lbs of cajun flavor, then added an order of potatoes and 2 corn. Here's where things went downhill. When the crawfish was brought out, only the bowl of garlic buttered crawfish was steaming. 1 piece of corn was cold, like cold to the core as if it was just pulled out the fridge. The other corn piece was bad, it was spoiled, smelled bad. Like it was yesterday's corn. The potatoes were cold too. I bought up the corn to the waitress and they replaced it free of charge, it was just not edible. The bowl of Cajun flavored crafish was cold too! The intial few on the top were simply luke warm, but once I worked my way to the bottom, those felt like they had been cold the whole time. I know the difference between food that's cooled and food that started cold, and the crawfish I was served as the cajun flavor, was served cold. In the middle of the meal, I had ordered the shrimp fried rice. When that came out, the rice was hard, and it too tasted spoiled, as if it had been pulled out the fridge and not warmed long enough in the microwave. But why should I be served microwaved shrimp fried rice! I'm not saying that's what they did, since I wasn't in the kitchen, but what I can say, is that the shrimp fried rice wasn't cooked to order. It definitely seemed like whoever was on kitched duty this day was cutting A LOT of corners. Cold food, yesterday's cooking. It was not a pleasant experience.

I decided to try out this place out. I ordered 3 lbs of Crawfish and 1 Sausage. I told him Garlic butter and Cajun mixed with Medium spice. The Crawfish was $9/lb. I waited and was told that my order was ready. I paid with cash, because I saw on some reviews that you are charged a fee for using a credit card. My order was hot. I got home and I already had all of my utensils, newspaper, gloves etc.. ready to dig in. So, I started to pick them out and eat them. They were extremely small for this time of year :((((. They had no flavor at all. They were dry inside(no juice) ughhhh... I had to go in the kitchen and add some seasoning and spice to them. I shook up the bag real good and sat back down to eat them. The seasoning made them edible to eat. I was so mad because the Crawfish should not be small like they were. I counted about 7 medium and 1 jumbo in the whole bag. I'm not sure where they got them from but they should've thrown them back in the river to let them poor babies grow. Will I be returning?? You know the answer to that.

I love to try new flavors especially the season. I received a call while I was eating and let me tell you I was highly upset but the call was important. The waiter was excellent she made sure if we needed anything that her timing would be perfect.The restaurant was very clean I didn't or couldn't see nothing out of place. I will return and I will recommend this place to others. I also ordered some crawfish fried rice to go I haven't tried it yet but when I do I will be back with the review and picture. This picture"bundle deal" was finger licking good.

Get. In. My. Belly. So, haven't had crawfish in over 3 years so was excited and nervous. It's new. So wasn't super busy plus we were there at 5:30 pm on a Thursday. The crawfish was $5.99/lb and they had a special buy 5 lbs, get 1 lb free. We ended up with 2 rounds of the special for 12 lbs total of the garlic butter + corn and sausage along with the salty fish fried rice. The crawfish was mixed sizes. Mostly medium overall with a decent amount of large mixed in and a few small ones (2nd round). The garlic butter season was really good. The salty fish fried rice was filled with Asian sausage, shrimp, egg and of course salty fish. Mix it well, they sprinkle black pepper on top. The service was good. The staff was mostly friendly (one lady seemed to be irritated by us but that's ok). They were great at switching the bowls as we filled them with empty crawfish carcasses. Ha. They also give you plastic gloves if you want. I heard they have bibs too. Overall was super happy with this spot and will def go back. (Soon).

Great crawfish and price!!! Seasoning was buttery, garlic and spice! I would have ordered more but they ran out.
