The food was hella good. I will not lie to you. the grilled catfish and fried catfish were perfect. The hush puppies were normal, and the crinkle fries were above average. The only thing was the wait time, my lawdy!! U have one guy cooking in the back. The other guy taking orders with the I don't want to be here look. If u can handle that 35 minute wait time for your food and u sitting with 6 other people waiting, then go for it. If not, this may not be the place for your especially after 5 pm

I didn't know about this place until I spotted it in one if the food delivery apps a few months back. What a find!The food is delicious and always arrives hot. The onion rings are maybe the best in Houston. If you like onion rings you'll understand how hard it is to find good ones in this town. So many places use the crappy frozen ones. I've particularly enjoyed the fried catfish, blackened fish, green beans, and Boudin balls. If you like this style if food, try this place. You will not be disappointed.

I don't know what's going on with this place, but they don't seem to be consistently open. What I mean by that is that I placed an order for pickup nearly an hour before closing last night, and the place was empty and dark when I got there at the estimated pickup time. The charge is still pending on my card, and they have not yet responded to my email even though they have supposedly been open since lunchtime today.

Small local eatery. Upon entering we were first greeted by the cashier who helped me decide on my order. He was giving my straight Uncle vibes.. I loved it! But the food came out fairly quickly and was DELICIOUS!!!!!! The tartar sauce was amazing. The good came out very hot and fresh! I ate it there. sN: they even have Daquiri machine w/ what I believe with 2 different flavors.

Grorgia's Catfish Kitchen King can hold its own in a region crowed with delicious Cajun restaurants. Their fried catfish, shrimp and gumbo are prepared fresh with just enough spicy kick to smack of authenticity. A surprising treat is their red beans and rice. It's prepared with traditional kidney beans, sausage and rice all combined in a deep rich thick sauce. I can take or leave the fried shrimp. For some reason I really prefer a flour dusted coating for shrimp but that's a personal preference. All in all food is good, prices reasonable and staff friendly.

This is the Gumbo I ordered, however it's just a 16oz bowl of floating fat and sink water. This is absolutely not edible. I ordered gumbo, not floating fat. They sell better frozen gumbo at HEB. As for the service it took about 40 minutes for some catfish, shrimp and this floating fat that you see. As for ambiance, there is none. This was a total waste of money and time.

Good catfish & oysters. Good onion rings too. Nice friendly staff. Pretty inefficient set up so it takes a really long time to get your food. Seems to be one guy working the counter and one person cooking in the back. Allow lots of time when you go!
