Frozen Rooster - Hampton

I had the pleasure of trying Frozen Rooster during the grand opening weekend and so glad I did. Let's start with the menu, there are so many wonderful options to choose from. Hubby and I ordered fried shrimp, fried fish, wings, french fries, funnel cake and ice cream. Everything was DELISH!The staff was kind from the moment we walked in, the prices are fair, great location and plenty of parking. Be sure to give Frozen Rooster a try, you will not regret it. I plan to return soon.

Tried Frozen Rooster for the first time. The restaurant was very clean but empty, seeming that most people order to go. I ordered a combination plate with shrimp and fish. The pricing is fair as no restaurants are cheap these days. I would say be prepared to spend $15 to $20 per person. The shrimp were fried hard, still tasty. The fish was okay. However, I would not order it the same way if I were to return. I ordered the catfish with hot lemon pepper. I should have asked additional questions when ordering because I assumed that it would be a dry rub. The fish was fried, then drenched with hot sauce and a tad bit of lemon pepper and served on a slice of bread. It was very spicy, not necessarily good. If I were to return, I would try the fish plain.

Ordered a 10 pc half hot/lemon-pepper other half teriyaki, asked them to separate each flavor in separate boxes & they did, that was well appreciated I just wish I would've ordered five more teriyaki, those teriyaki wings hit different

Blah, the first thought that comes to mind. I ordered a 10pc sweet chili & hot w/LP sprinkle wing combo, Cajun fry and Minute Maid lemonade. Couldn't tell the fries were Cajun, maybe they forgot the seasoning. The wings were basic , nothing spectacular. The flavor was good, but nothing stood out about this place other than the price. I paid $18 for 10pc. Combo. If I go back I'll try something other than the wings bc I could've gotten those anywhere.

In all fairness, I went for the frozen not the rooster. I had a cookies and cream milkshake and a red velvet cookie. The cookie was good, it definitely tasted like red velvet. The milkshake was just okay. I've had much better. There seemed to be a bit of a wait on food. I noticed that people who ordered online were in and out. Based on what I saw you should also check your order before leaving. I'll give the rooster a shot next. I doubt I'll get another milkshake. The staff was friendly.

We were greeted with a smile when we entered. Our food was hot & delicious! We had a Strawberry milkshake, catfish, wings, & fries!!!

Tried to redeem Groupon voucher today and they would not honor. Very poor customer service. It should be noted that the voucher stated that it was valid until August 2024

Food was good... I had the fried shrimp tossed in honey BBQ and I had an order of okra which was cooked perfectly... I made another visit there 2 weeks later for fish, whole wings and shrimp

I tried Frozen Rooster for the first time and will NOT BE RETURNING!!!I ordered 5 dinner plates the wings were very dry and had no flavor, the fish and shrimps were ok, please tell me how the h___ do you mess up fries well they did. Dont waste your money
