Super cool retro bar that perfectly blends old-school vibes with a modern touch. The decor feels straight out of the mid-century, with vintage furniture and dim lighting that sets a relaxed mood. The drink menu is a great mix of classic cocktails and creative new options, all expertly crafted by skilled bartenders. The music is a solid mix of retro tunes that keeps the vibe chill and fun.Service is friendly and laid-back, making it a great spot to kick back with friends or enjoy a date night. If you're into retro aesthetics and good drinks, Fox Lounge is definitely worth checking out!

Wow. Sign me up for $7 happy hour martinis and dimly lit vibes all day.Back in the day I knew Fox's to be a staple bar for adults. Now that I am an adult, who enjoys a solid cocktail and chill place to enjoy said cocktail, the new and improved Fox's is the place for me.There are absolutely no window's here. Not one. So expect like old school bar vibes. No frills, just a spot to grab a drink and enjoy the 1950s vibes here. Legit, this bar had been open since 1946 and was recently redone by the folks of Lost Boy, so you know the drinks are going to be good.I did not eat, but I did spy a couple living their best lives enjoying massive steak, baked potato, and what looked like a peanut butter pie.Happy hour is every day, which is an important thing to note. On Thursday nights, they serve prime rib. Honestly, in a sea of newness that is Miami, a bit of old school, no-frills cool is so refreshing. Can't wait to go back and try the food.

Fox's Lounge is a decent spot to grab drinks, especially if you appreciate a dive bar aesthetics. It retains the dark, cozy atmosphere of the original establishment, which is a plus. However, the limited seating can make it feel cramped, especially during busy hours. While the drinks are enjoyable, the food definitely needs some work. It didn't quite live up to my expectations, and I felt like the original vibe that made this place special is missing. I might give it another try in the future, but for now, it's just an okay experience.

Cool spot in South Miami. This place has been around forever and has only had 3 or 4 owners in the 70 plus years it has been opened and it is a great piece of Miami history. Recently it has had a renaissance of sorts. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The place is dark and a great respite from the very hot and bright Miami sun. The bar, although limited in selections is exactly what you need. Gin or Vodka, they make one of THE BEST Martinis in the city - crisp, cold, but never icy or watered down. They stuff their own olives with blue cheese so, if you want super fresh blue cheese olives with your martini, you have come to the right place. Every time we have visited Fox's we order martinis and the Chef's Thumb Bits. Terrible name but delicious and generous bites of tenderloin on toast with a rich and flavorful onion au jus for dipping. So so good!!!! I think they are discounted during Happy Hour but not sure. Fox's is great for a cocktail or two and if the Thumb Bits are any indication of how tasty the rest of the menu is, this is a cannot miss. Cheers

My friend and I went to this bar / restaurant with low expectations and ended up being pleasantly surprised. I have past this location so many times but never thought to go inside. I was unsure what it was - was it a bar or restaurant or something completely different lol. It is indeed a very intimate bar that serves food. I wouldn't say that the food is bad but it's definitely just bar food.the drinks were good and the service was nice. It does get pretty busy after 10pm so if you want a more relaxed atmosphere I would suggest to go earlier.

After some searches Fox's lounge pops up as a speakeasy. I was expecting a speakeasy- one thing this place is not is a speakeasy. I looked around & I felt as if I had stepped into a time capsule where time stood still. The dim lighting and the dark wood paired with retro-like Christmas decor was something to process. We had reservations which truly make you feel like you're going to an uber-exclusive spot. The follow ups and confirmations are great for the urgency factor of getting into the speakeasy I thought we were going to hang at. Once I got over the initial feeling of being Punk'd upon learning this is NOT a speakeasy, we took our seat. Music starts at 10:30, unfortunately I wasn't able to stay, I was way too hungry and the food was not going to do it for me. The menu is typical barfood with nothing that really stands out. We went for the potato skins - way too greasy & are either old or they need to do something about the oil? Not sure but they were blah (I wish I had a better word for them). We tried the salad and that was also disappointing. Our server was a different story. In contrast to the menu Welby was animated - very kind, attentive & pretty prompt with everything. I wouldn't go back for the food but may pop in for a drink & check it out later at night when they have music.

Fox's still has that sultry, eclectic, classic vibe. With dim lighting, funk beats blasting, cocktails flowing, and delectable eats. No surprise this place gets packed quick. Limited seating to dine but room to hang at the bar and back.Staff is cool, quick, and organized. From the minute we walked in we were seated and told they'd be right with us. We jammed to the beats and within minutes our cocktail orders were taken and served. I had a paloma which was made fantastic and bestie had the spicy jalapeno margarita. Both cocktails were up to par and then some. Had to have another round. Entrees ordered was the churrasco steak and fries and I had the prime rib sandwich amd sautéed shrooms.on the side. This meal was amazing but the mushrooms were the winner on this plate. I could've had just a bowl of those alone. We ate, talked, drank, and had just a lovely grown evening. Love the whole atmosphere here and Fox's will always be a staple in Miami.

We recently decided to try out this long-standing gem for the first time before catching a movie nearby, and it exceeded our expectations! Even though this restaurant has been a staple in the area for years, we're so glad we finally made it in.The ambiance was perfect for a dinner date--warm, intimate, and inviting. We shared a few plates while enjoying their perfectly crafted drinks. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. It was the ideal setup before heading to the movies. What really made our night special was the incredible service, led by the fantastic manager. They ensured everything ran smoothly, checking in with us and making sure we were having a great time without ever being intrusive. We can't believe we waited this long to visit, but we'll definitely be returning! If you're looking for a place that's stood the test of time with great food, drinks, and top-notch service, this is it.
