l Valle exceeded our expectations with its ambiance, food, and service. Although we're not often downtown, we're grateful Yelp! recommended this gem.Upon entering, the Mexico City vibes captivated us instantly. The decor, from the intricate tiles to the wallpaper and lighting, was tastefully designed, creating a perfect setting for a romantic date. Now, the food! There's something on the menu for everyone. We started with the Soaps de Carnitas, bursting with flavor, where the pork belly truly shined. (Pictures attached!) I chose the Ensalada de Narnanjas, while my husband savored the Short Rib for our mains. Every dish impressed us.While it's on the pricier side for the city, the experience was worth it, especially with great company. Cheers!

Came to El Valle for the cocktails & they did NOT disappoint in the slightest. I've been to Atlanta a few times now and I can confidently say that this is the best cocktail bar I've been to so far. All of the drinks had unique names and I forgot just about all of them lolol, but every single one was perfectly made and had me ready for the next one. There were a few things on the menu that really wowed me which were the Octopus, Brussel Sprouts with Chorizo, and the ceviche. These 3 items I could order all day everyday. Glad I came in to try El Valle

Dishonest bartender and manager.Accused me of skipping a bar tab on a previous visit....wtf...and embarrassed me in-front of other patrons.I've have lived in this neighborhood for 23 years and supported every business in your restaurant space. You won't be here in 2 years.....word gets around

An excellent 4-6 happy hour spot for a quick meal and drink. Initially, I intended to order a small plate, but the menu intrigued me to sample a variety of options. I started with the octopus tostada 3/10 my least favorite, While it was a bit overwhelming on a soft flour tortilla instead of corn.. On the other hand, my favorite dish Birria Taco 10/10 although it was a bit pricey at nine dollars for just one taco. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, making it worth the price. Wings 8/10 small party size wing They were flavorful, a bit dry, the sauce was tasty aswell!Chicken taquitos 8/10a little dry but crispy happy hour drink of the day 10/10pretty heavy handed. Expect the bartenders to get the job done with zerocomplaints two drink max was good enough for me! The service was delightful, and I look forward to returning in the future

El Valle never disappoints. Cocktails were delicious and the reposado espresso martini was delicious. Food was super tasty and cooked perfectly. Arsham was our server and he was absolutely wonderful. Friendly staff and the vibe is on point. High key recommended.

Came for happy hour but already planning my next visit to try their actual dinner/lunch menu. This restaurant was bigger than I expected with a fancy casual ambiance. I feel like this would be a good place for a pre-show or post-show night cap. Their happy hour is pretty extensive in my opinion in terms of contents. It's not just solely drinks and the food options, though more so on the small plate size, were still somewhat shareable in my opinion. The staff was also very friendly. The bartenders were knowledgeable in both the drinks and the entrees and answered all of our questions with no complaintsWe got;GuacamoleSmash BurgerTaquitosPoblano Mac and CheeseSangria We split all these amongst the two of us and the total was $50, or $25 per person. My favorite out of the bunch was definitely the Mac and cheese and the smash burger (which was essential just a mini burger but very flavorful in my opinion). The sangria was sooooo good. I've had sangrias that were too sweet or not sweet enough but this was the perfect medium. And it was pretty sizeable in my opinion.Overall, really loved the vibes of this place and definitely see myself coming back.

The ambiance at El Valle is top notch. Service is just OK - we had a couple of issues. For example, we were done eating before sides came out (had to remind waitress we were missing them). Our cocktails took a very long for our table while they were coming out quickly for all the tables around us, but we weren't in a rush so not a huge deal. We may have ordered and spent more if we didnt have to wait 25 mins per drink. Here's how I'd rate the items we ordered:-Ceviche 4/5. Had great flavor but kind of surprised there were no chips or anything to put the ceviche on to eat it. I suppose we were to just eat it as is with a fork? -Soft shell crab appetizer 2/5. Polenta was tasteledd. The batter in which was crab was fried in wasn't good.-Pork belly appetizer 5/5-Caesar Salad 5/5. Not sure how they did it but this may have been the best caesar I've had in my life-Lamb entree 3/5. Both customers requested medium rare and received it medium well.-Short Rib Mole 4/5. Excellent flavor. Had mine not been cold when it came out, it would've been 5 stars. -Corn Pudding 5/5-Mashed Potatoes (they have a different name on the menu) 2/5 for lack of flavor-Cocktails 5/5

I had family in town and wanted to take them somewhere nice for brunch since we both love Mexican food, I decided on El Valle. From the pictures, it looked really nice, and it looks exactly like that in person, very beautiful decor and paintings and was spacious as well.Upon entering, it was dead (in their defense, it was rainy outside), but we were greeted with the smile sat at a beautiful table of our choosing. Shortly after we were then greeted by our waiter, who was great with us even spoke a little Spanish so that was a plus. To start, I ordered the bottomless, passionfruit mimosas. One of the things that made me choose. This restaurant was the fact they used a Mexican sparkling brut. It was delicious! My dining companion did not want an appetizer, so since I was starving I just got the sopa de maíz. It had the consistency of a chowder it was sweet but still good, I think it would've been better with another ingredient, perhaps chicken or something. For our main brunch meals, I got the pescado sarandeado. Hey, seared salmon on the bed of poblano grits, with creamy tomato sauce, and Mexican chimichurri. I don't care for grits, but my meal was absolutely delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was impeccable! The person I was dining with got the mole de ajo negro- braised short rib on top of a corn mash. I thought the taste was okay but then again, I'm not a huge fan of mole. My dining companion liked it but, said there was too much fat and was still hungry when we left lol. This is a more upscale restaurant so the portions are palm sized she probably should've got an appetizer after all.

Hmmm went there on a wednesday night. Nice vibes. Live music. The space is beautiful. This is my third time and unfortunately each time is not as good as the last time.It started out with a watered down cocktail which was disappointing - it was basically a margarita with mezcal. This is easy for a mexican restaurant to get right. But they make it again and it was better. Now the food - halibut with pasta - the dish sounded better than it tasted. This is something best ordered at an Italian restaurant instead of a Mexican one. Nothing special.Short rib mole dish - it was okmushroom side - again ok

Good food, but watch your bill. They automatically add 10% to your bill. And it's a little sneaky. If you use one of their handheld payment devices, you see your total and suggested tips, but no mention of the surcharge. Drinks are pricey. I paid nearly $60 for three gin and tonics.
