Drunken Lobster: Worth a Visit! Service: Excellent! We were the only customers, so the staff was super attentive. My partner is Vietnamese and ordering was seamless. Food: Vietnamese seafood. We loved the crab fingers as a tasty starter. The Sizzling Scallops were super refreshing, but I'd probably try the Queen Scallops next time. Our favorite dish was definitely the salted egg shrimp over rice - delicious flavors and textures! Ambience: Clean and inviting, with a coastal beach house feel.

Went to Drunken Lobster on a Saturday night and the place was dead so I was already worried. We were greeted and sat right away which I would expect since no one was there. The food came out pretty quickly and all of it was tasty but the portions were SO small. Like we went to another place to get food small. Many of the reviews on here say that the garlic noodles were dry or not garlicky enough but ours were very good. You could see the chunks of garlic.Another thing was that the staff were kind but clearly bored. Towards the end of our meal, I had to walk over to ask for the check because they all were sitting on the floor looking at their phones. There were also 2 waiters playing around with each other during service and it all felt a bit unprofessional. This place could be good but they need to work out some kinks.

What a let down.My family and I wanted to give this place a try after seeing all the hype on social media, and ending up leaving halfway to eat somewhere else. We ordered the:Sizzling Scallops: 3/5 Half the fun in ordering a "sizzling" dish is to see it sizzle is not? When they were brought out they were not sizzling, they were warm which makes me think they had been sitting in the Kitchen the a while. There are only 4 scallops, on each shell, there were 3-4 itty-bitty scallops which I thought was odd. It was pretty okay. Definitely could've use more rau ram.Garlic Noodles w Shrimp & Steak: 3/5 We were confused while eating this just simply because this is not your typical garlic noodle. Now don't get me wrong, it was good. However, it tasted like Shaoxing cooking wine, oyster sauce, and maybe some tamarind... in other words, a zesty lo mein. If this dish is to be call a garlic noodle, I'd hope to taste a LOT more garlic.Salted Eggs Clam Pasta: 4/5 Really enjoyed the salted egg flavor. However, I felt like although this dish looks like a lot, half of it is the clam shells. After taking that away, there's really not that much noodle in my opinion. It is tasty though.Beef Salad: 1/5 This had to be the most disappointing dish of the night. It was mostly comprised of iceberg lettuce, super bland. Did not at all look like the picture. We were expecting a lot more cucumber. cilantro, carrots, etc. We honestly left the salad, just finished the beef.Service was not bad, not the best but not bad. Overall, we left still wanting more food. We didn't want to try anything else on the menu since the food was supbar and the dishes were pricey. Although we ordered different dishes, I found the flavors strangely repetitive across each dish. Ultimately pretty disappointing.

Service: was quick after we placed our order. Tables needed to be wiped down. Noticed some food residue on the tables. Ambiance: was chill played Rihanna the whole hour and half we were there (which I enjoyed lol) Food Sizzling clams : this was amazing!!! Would definitely come back again Grilled oysters with cheese: this was okay I think I would pass on this. EntreesDrunken lobster garlic noodles: this was okay. I was expecting more of a garlic taste to the noodles which I did not get. The lobster does come half cracked which made it a little easier to eat but overall I would probably pass on this. Dungeness Crab with Tamarind Sauce: this was really good. The meat and sauce tasted amazing!!

Upon arrival, ambiance is laid back, modern, and clean. Service friendly and they don't check up on you to make sure everything is alright - typical Asian businesses so I was fine with that to have my peace to eat.Now the important part, the food. Food doesn't justify the prices. Came here for a birthday dinner and left quite disappointed. If they didn't come out with a complimentary birthday tiramisu to end the night on a sweet note, I don't know if I would ever come back despite wanting to try this place since it's grand opening. Food quality are not gourmet and for how much you get so I cannot justify the prices. For a restaurant to be called "Drunken Lobster," they only have like 2 lobster dishes, if that. On a good note, food comes out pretty quickly.Sizzling scallops ($16.95) was the most disappointment. It comes with two baby scallops (usually used for Asian seafood porridge or soups). Not worth the price or the flavor; basically no flavors and just lots of the ends of a cilantro.Lemongrass clam ($15.95) is sweet and refreshing with a hint of lemongrass and pineapple flavor but be careful because there may be broken shells and some dirts still lingering within the broth. Almost taste like canh chua but without that sour and sweet taste. Salted egg clam pasta ($19.85) is creamy and savory but where's all the pasta noodles? Even the garlic noodle dishes have much more pasta noodles.Fresh young coconut ($6.50) was pretty old. Still taste refreshing but the coconut meat is almost non existence.Tiramisu ($8.75 but complimentary since it's someone's birthday at my table) was good. They added a lychee to the whip cream to make it with an Asian twist to an Italian dessert. No rum, just expresso taste (I personally prefer in my tiramisu). Overall, not sure if I will ever come back. They're decent and a great place to party with friends. Just check on their website for the current menu prices.

Their lobster and noodle dish was the only good thing we tried. These pictures make the food look better than they tasted, mainly because my picture taking skills are ah-ma-zing. Okay, back to the food. Lobster noodles, good, but not good enough to go back for it. Everything else, blandish. Ae ordered a couple of drinks but never got them, nor did they refill our water pitchers. Service was lukewarm.

I came here with my friend to celebrate my bday and had it on my to try list for a while. It was super hyped up on social media and I waited for the hype to die down a little before coming. We ordered the godly fried rice, $1 oysters, surf n turf noodles, soft shell crab, mojito, and wintermelon tea (free with Yelp check in). The waitress was so sweet and took lots of pics for us and even set our table nicely for the pics. She gave us great service. The godly fried rice was good but a tad too salty, the oysters were big, the noodles were the best item of the night, the crab was more batter than crab (I could barely taste any crab), the mojito and wintermelon drinks were both refreshing and sweet. Can't wait to come back!

I came here for a girls night with my friend and there were plenty of seating and live music inside! The place was very spacious and our waitress was really quick and helped us get our order in before happy hour ended in literal minutes LOL. She was super sweet! We shared the drunken lobster so we got a medium size and it honestly was a good portion. The flavor was so yummy and incredible! The lobster meat really just falls right off the shell without any toughness at all also! Definitely would be back to try more on the menu and for more pasta and lobster haha!

Always find myself back here for the lobster noodles! It's in the name so you must get when you come here! The garlic and butter taste of the lobster and noodles just so well balanced, nothing about it is too fishy or salty or oily. I love to eat big chunks of the meat too. We ordered the small size for 2 people, but we regretted should've ordered a medium size and we would still kill the whole plate. Service is very friendly, but the wait for the food can take a little while, and the ambiance of the restaurant is chill and cozy. Kitchen is open to the seating area so feels very inclusive. It would be a good place to catch a drink at night with some good seafoods. I will come back and try more on the menu.
