A relatively new restaurant in H-Town that is worth to give it a try. There are plenty of free parking spots. This is a plus. The restaurant is clean, and the interior colors are inviting. The walls are decorated in boat themed (duh) decor which are pretty nice. The staff greeted me with a wide smile and was polite from the time I stepped in till the time I stepped out. I came here for the lobster roll and only got the lobster roll. At the counter, there was a note that stated price of lobster increased thus they had to increase the price of lobster roll. The lobster roll came with a small side of fries and a small container of sauce. The sauce tasted weird to me so I didn't care for it much. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The lobster roll bun was filled with perfectly cooked big lobster meat. However the bun was a little dry and tasteless. It would be better if the bun was slightly toasted and buttered inside. Overall it was an ok lobster roll.

For a newish restaurant, they had a decent amount of foot traffic. I think it's partially because of crawfish season, but also because of the quality of their food! The space was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered at the counter and it took 15-25 minutes for all of our dishes to come out. SOFT SHELL CRAB SLIDER: They use a cornmeal crust, and, unfortunately, I'm not a fan of that. If you like that though, you'll definitely like this more than I did. But the crab also didn't taste seasoned at all, so the claws/legs were very bland. I only really tasted tomato and lettuce until I got to the meaty center of the crab. The center also had sauce that helped so it got really tasty in the middle. I just wish it lasted more than a couple of bites. Because of the bland outer edges though, I probably wouldn't get this again unless they drizzled more sauce on the outer crab legs or provided an extra cup of sauce to dip. But maybe you can ask for one if you decide to try it out. Also, it comes with tater tots, but I subbed fries. The fries tasted like they had no salt on them lol but they had a salt shaker at their water station. STEAK GARLIC NOODLES: Delicious!! Everything about this was great! The beef was flavorful and tender, the noodles were perfectly cooked and garlicky, and the tomatoes and onions were just as flavorful at the beef! The only thing was that it was a little hard to eat/mix because the bowl was overfilled and the noodles were hiding under everything else, but that's not that big of a deal. SEAFOOD MAC & CHEESE: This was really good and cheesy! I could see someone saying it was too cheesy, but my bf and I both really enjoyed it! There was a good amount of seafood too! Some with every bite! But it was definitely more shrimp than crab lol I think the crab was really only on top for appearances because we couldn't find any towards the middle or bottom. Because of this, idk if it's really worth $17 because it is pretty small too. EGGROLLS: Delicious!! It came with 3 and fish sauce to dip. If you eat it fresh, you'll probably burn your mouth, but you'll also feel the amazingly delicate crunch as you bite! You could clearly hear every thin layer of the fried exterior breaking and it was amazing! I'd definitely recommend!

I was in the mood for some fried soft shell crab and Drunken Boat was the place. Lots of free parking available. We went on a Sunday for lunch. The place is clean. You walk in get greeted and order and pay at the counter. Husband and I both got 1 each order of the soft shell crab slider, this comes with a few tatter tots. The food was delicious and the temperature of the food was good. I will return to the Drunken Boat.

Very good food. The lobster roll is the best. It has a heavy celery flavor so beware if you don't like that. I like it so it worked for me. It had a lot of lobster in it too. The bread is super soft and buttery too. I tried clam chowder for the first time and it was very good. The shrimp fried rice is bomb. The happy hour special on Fridays, buy one get one free shots was a surprise but welcomed! The Cajun garlic sauce that comes on the side with the meals was so so good! I poured it on everything. The side corn on the cob with the sauce was the best. The cashier and waitress were very nice and helpful when ordering. The inside was clean. All in all it was a great experience. I'll be back.

The food was super good. It shows up as four dollar signs on Google but I thought it was very well priced. The crab slider tasted great, the fries were perfectly fried, the Mac was super cheesy, and the crawfish was such a good price considering how quality and huge the pieces they gave us were. I think this is a great new business to go to for AAPI month :)

We got the garlic noodles with shrimp and lobster roll. I'd recommend all of it. Heads up- the lobster roll is small and pricey but this is normal with most lobster rolls. It is packed with lobster though! Definitely add the garlic butter to it too! I enjoyed every bit of it. It usually comes with tots but I got fries instead. The garlic noodles were also good! I'd love to learn how to recreate this at home. The place is clean with quick service. We did not wait long for our stuff.

Great quality lobster rolls. Didn't have their crawfish so I cannot comment on that. Pricier side for portion but it was good to try once. Lobster Mac and cheese along with clam chowder was fine. Garlic noodles with shrimp was good. Nothing special on the shrimp, but garlic noodles was well seasoned. I would recommend to try once or if you are looking for a good lobster roll joint. If you get the lobster roll go for the regular fries as the tater tots tasted normal. Fries had truffle seasoning.

We tried sampling of many of the menu items: meatball pho, lobster Mac n cheese, lobster roll, and even the passionfruit margarita...all of which were absolutely delicious!! Would definitely come back and order them all again! Service was also wonderful, super friendly folks are running the place! This is a new restaurant, would highly recommend giving it a try! They are still in the soft opening phase and we will certainly be coming back for more!

Drunken Boat is a fun little gem that is hidden in a shopping center off of Westheimer. We came here to celebrate a birthday on a rainy Saturday night, and to my surprise the place was completely empty. Maybe it could have been the weather, but given the tasty food this place has, it is worthy of having tons of clientele. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was a bit small, but had sufficient seating and looked very clean. Overall, the restaurant seems like a fusion between Asian, Cajun, and seafood, which is a delicious mix. When looking at the overall menu, I did find it to be a tad bit pricey compared to other seafood places, but not completely unfair. There is no place in Texas where you don't find yourself forking over 30 bucks for lobster rolls. Anyways, we tired the Lobster Mac and Cheese, which was had a good amount of lobster and cheesiness in every bite. It's 25 bucks, and the portion is not the biggest, but i would say its worth trying. I had the soft shell crab slider, its one slider, that has a whole fried crab in it, and packs a punch of flavor. Its about 10 bucks. For 8 bucks I got a half pound of shrimp, which was probably the best deal of the entire menu. One of our friends is allergic to seafood, so they ordered the Cheeto Wings. Unfortunately, for some reason, they had some issue with making the wings. It seemed that they didn't' have enough of the Hot Cheetos mix. So they only gave us 3 wings, but then gave us complimentary regular wings to compensate us. Funny enough, the regular wings were much spicier than the Cheetos ones. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic options. The Mango Tea was very popular amongst our group, and it seemed to have real pieces of mango which made for a nice touch. This place was fun and tasty. Definitely worth checking out.
