"*Black owned food truck*We were going for something new and different, and we attempted another spot like theirs, but they weren't serving certain things and were out of other things, and I suggested we try them instead! I'm so glad I did, too. The owner was there taking orders, and he was the friendliest man ever. He gave suggestions of his menu faves, and he gave us advice on our new business endeavors out in Houston. He was really a nice man! We got 3 different options 2 baked potatoes and 1 pasta dish. OMG, IT WAS GOOD!!!! They didn't skrimp on items, and everything was hot, fresh, and seasoned well. He has a pretty extensive menu for a food truck. I would definitely return!"

"Food - I got the 5 taco sampler (Sampler Plus) which turned out to be a good amount of food. I was pretty stuffed after. Taco-wise, I started on the right and made my way left. Loved the first 3 that I tried - I think it was their El Plebe Taco, Barbacoa, and Al Pastor. The other 2 were a bit too peppery for me. All the salsas were good. Fair warning, the red creamy one has some fire to it. Service - The servers were attentive. I had one spoke in English and another only in Spanish. They made sure to check on me from time to time. Ambiance - I sat outside right in front of the food truck. It was nice and casual. It's a plus that they have clean restrooms. Location - I'm not from the area but I was in central McAllen and this place seem to be in the general vicinity. Parking was good but I was also there on a weekday. I think I read somewhere it can get pretty packed on a weekend so plan accordingly. Overall good. It got me curious enough to want to try other things on their menu and bring my husband back to try too. I'm in between a 4 and 5. Rounding up."

"Was around the area and wanted to to get a quick bite to eat so I searched for fast food. I found this place and it was close by so I decided to give it a shot. Once I arrived I noticed it was a food truck parked in a large parking area. It was easy to find and I loved the design of the truck. Once I walked up to the truck I was greeted and explained the menu. I ended up ordering the Original UBP Burger with Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeños. The price was reasonable and they had seating under a canopy. Once my order was ready I received a text and hurried to try my meal. I then opened my box and saw this amazing looking burger! Once I bit into the burger it was packed with flavor and the juices the patty had was amazing!!!I loved every bite and didn't want it to end! I will definitely be coming back here and trying everything they have on the menu!!!"

"I got here early like at 11:30a but they were not open yet. Last night I was told that RIBS ON WHEELS (ROW) had the best ribs in town. Because I am a rib lover I had to find out for myself. When they did open the smell of the barbecue got my attention. And then I saw them and the flow of juices flowing throughout the meat It's about to be ON!!!So I ordered a pound of ribs for home and a sausage link sandwich for now. Links are always the open act for me when it comes to ribs. I wanted some chips but they did not have any. So the Que-connoisseur recommended the potatoes salad. The potato salad was pretty good-the texture and creaminess was very satisfying.The sausage link sandwich was different. It was very light in taste and good and juicy.The sausage sandwich really made me want to break into these ribs but they are for dinner.Well I must say dinner last night was less than enjoyable. The ribs didn't taste grilled, now they were tender but tasted as if they had been boiled first. -Not good to boil ribs. Now I will say their homemade BBQ sauce is very good; however, it could not cover up the taste of boiled ribs.I initially rated them as a 4 star but after the ribs I must update to a 2 Star-WORK ON THE RIBS PLEASE"

Well, I failed...because this wasn't good it was fantastic.I had the brisket platter with macaroni cheese and potato salad sides, and a can of Diet Coke The brisket was awesome. Cooked to tender but not over cooked and dried out. Competition level brisket, The macaroni and cheese was outstanding and the potato salad was good. Don't miss the macaroni and cheese...My only regret is not buying a beef rib and smoked sausage link to have for breakfast tomorrow. They were amazing! Also had the French roll combo and it was awesome. The buns were hotdog rolls so it's not really a French roll. But still very good. Having the taco truck next to the auto shop isn't very pleasing to sit and eat food around. Either way, the quality of the food surpassed all the noises from the auto shop close by.
