"I am out of town with family for the weekend visiting Rockport. At first we were planning to go to another restaurant but noticed Paradise Key Dockside Bar & Grill was right across the way.Walking in the restaurant it was nice and bright since there are nice views of Aransas Bay. There is outdoor seating available.I decided to order the grilled platter which came with mahi mahi, grilled shrimps, crab cake and two sides, I chose the green beans and mac & cheese. The food is solid. I liked the mahi mahi because it is a "meaty" fish if you get what I mean. I did have an option to get blackened shrimp and that was a nice pick too. The crab cake was flavorful. The platter comes with one but it was enough. The mac & cheese did have some breadcrumbs to give it a nice crunchy texture. But one thing that made it a great experience was our server Salina.Salina was very friendly, respectful and welcoming. Very attentive and always checking on us. I was going to ideally give my experience 4.5/5 due to the random fly moving around but Salina's service made jt not too bad. She was soft spoken but provided great customer service throughout. I would like to be back with family. But it is not often we visit Rockport but the experience was pleasant. Besides the fly but it was a minimal inconvenience. You cannot miss the restaurant since it is a nice vibrating yellow color. But thank you again Salina for your work!"

Our first visit was easily 4/5 stars--the burger and fries were , perfectly cooked, and super satisfying.Unfortunately, our second visit was a major letdown. The multiple appetizers we ordered were soaked and soggy with grease, making them hard to enjoy. The fries, which were amazing the first time, were SUPER salty this time around--a complete 180 from what we had before. And the brisket egg rolls? Honestly, they shouldn't be a thing. The flavors just didn't work at all.It's a shame because we had high hopes after our first visit, but the inconsistency really stood out on the second trip."

"I've been going here since the glory days of the Hotrod Gang. I even used to work across Chaparral at Tom Foolery's. It's a shining example of what Corpus has to offer in terms of good times, good food, and awesome music. Really, this is an awesome venue. No place is perfect, especially when you've been going there for over a quarter century. Sure, I've had some concerns in the past. But, somehow the people at this place keep addressing them without making a big deal out of it. My wife and I usually go for daytime food and fun on the weekend, when there is consistently a solo performer from noon-4pm (Sat/Sun). Also, the open mic with Rick on Wednesdays is great. I know they have a trivia night (Drinks with Geeks) on Mondays. They also host a lot festivals, and they supplement the other festivals downtown. I've met some cool local musicians over the years and I highly recommend this family and dog friendly place. They do have indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of good food options (no u-peel-ems though), a full bar, and a wide selection of drafts (that changes with the seasons and availability). "Even though I live near this place and have been driving by it for long time now, it was only recently that I finally stopped in when I was craving a burger. I must say it's a real good deal for the price, for the most part. However, the only complaint I have comes today. I ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich, great crunch and flavor. They pound the chicken breast pretty thin so it looks HUGE (see my pictures of it) . I would say maybe leave a little bit of the thickness to it. My other complaint is that I decided to add bacon and cheese to it. A couple of strips of bacon came to $2.25 and cheese was $1.45 The food comes out of the kitchen super fast and the waitresses are almost always super attentive!"

The brisket is closer to jerky that something that's supposed to be supple and elastic. The sides were super bland and unimpressive. The BBQ sauce and then bread were okay. It's hard to think it would be dramatically different on a second visit but I may come back to try some options other than the brisket."

"Havent been to pats since they changed owners so this is a brand new experience. I kinda compare them vs now. Went in on a Thursday about 6:30. 10 minute wait which went by fast. We sat in the new room at a larger table due to having a baby. I enjoyed not being squished in a corner. I ordered a beef and chicken enchilada plate and my husband ordered beef. Enchiladas were very good. I miss the old chicken enchiladas but had no complaints with these new ones . Didn't come with sour cream which they used to before but it was fine. Chips and salsa were amazing . I am loving this new salsa they have it had a nice kick without feeling like I'm going to burn my throat. The old salsa was a lotto, you never knew if it was gonna be spicy or plain. They do charge a credit card fee which is listed on the menu and i believe at the front. I think it was happy hour when i went but wasn't sure. Waitress didn't tell us if it was or not but Facebook did when i went home. Would have probably got some queso if it was. Will be back for a burger soon with fried pickles."

I did all I could to devour half of a joe's meat lover pizza, we ate all the meat off of the remainder of the pie slices. They're decorated up for halloween, this place made us feel like regulars. Nice people and great food and tasty wierd drinks. I had to buy one of their t shirts with legalize marinara across the front. We'll be back."
