Valle Lindo Coffee Shop

Went on a Friday morning to pick up a to-go order. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches and lattes. They have different non-dairy milk options which was very nice. The sandwiches were very yummy and the fries that were accompanying them were well seasoned and crispy. The lattes were a little too sweet. Everyone was so friendly and patient with us ordering and gave great recommendations as they have a large menu. We waited quite a while for our order and we were the only ones there. This is a good option for a local breakfast or lunch spot.

Our son and family had been here two weeks ago and brought us grandparents back for what our grandsons think is the best breakfast in Chicago! Whether you are hungry for eggs, hash browns, pancakes, chilaquiles with steak and eggs, tacos, or fantastic cemitas, you will love your food! It's a really nice coffee shop, too! The cemitas bread is wonderful and the ham and steak ones at our table were perfect. They made me a great vegan cemitas! The owner and staff are super nice and very thoughtful. We finished with a birthday platter of French toast! The family will be back whenever they are in the neighborhood! It is an all around good spot with great food and value in a clean, comfortable and welcoming place!

The food was delicious! My friends and I really enjoyed our breakfast and the service was good. However, the coffee was just okay. I returned a second time knowing to avoid the coffee, but when I asked for one of their juices the person at the front told me he did not know how to make it. When I asked for something else he told me he couldn't make that either. I chose my third option and it was not good. I have not been back but I stand by the 4 stars because of the food.

Been here a handful of times and have tried something different every time. I will continue randomly stopping in and try more of their menu.

I will begin here, the location was originally Lucha Cafe.I saw the coming soon sign on the front window. I waited patiently. The area around Central ave needed a new breakfast and lunch spot. Now we have it. Welcome Valle Lindo to Belmont Craign. Very clean, hip location upon walking in. Greeted immediately. Off to a great start. There is two floors to this spot. The entrance has a long table with single chairs facing out to Central Avenue and one table for two people. The short flight of stairs leads you the dining area with more tables and chairs, each could sit up to four people. The decor and colors are amazing. The paintings on the wall give a unique and cozy vibe to the room. Most importantly very friendly staff, our waitress had a positive vibe and smiling. The food is made to order and very well prepared and served. I had one of the best iced coffees here, added a French vanilla flavor shot to it which hit the spot. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, sprinkled with powdered sugar. They have a wide range of food options for breakfast and lunch. I wanted to try something different and here really hit the spot. I recommend eating here if you are in the area. Very much worth with wait. I will be back. Once Valle Lindo welcome to the area. Thank you for opening. See you soon.

I ordered breakfast this morning. It was so delicious and arrived quickly. I ordered a cafe de olla and Valle sandwich. Highly recommend!

Great coffee; I was the only customer at that time in the morning, so service was also quick and attentive. The food options looked delicious; I'd go back to try the food.

Food was on time, still hot, and delicious. Great price for what I ordered also. will definitely be ordering again. (meat lovers omelette was large and had big chunks of meat, hash browns were shredded nice and crispy, and it came with pancakes too)
