We came here for our first meal visiting while in Chicago. I loved the elegance and the ease in being able to slip into the hotel to get a quick meal. The service was exquisite, warm, and inviting. We were starved and ordered the following:Lobster Tomato Bruschetta - It came with whipped goat cheese, heirloom tomato, pickled ramps, basil balsamic glaze, sea salt, on top focaccia bread. Delish! **Charred Heirloom Carrots - This was my FAVORITE! It is unlike anything you've EVER tried in your life. I loved it because it had a very unusual collection of ingredients that blossom in flavor with its farro, sunkissed tomatoes, kale, parsley, & lemon yogurt. **But duly noted that I added the shrimp option, and the dish was immaculate with this addition. The subtly of savory, light sweets partnered with its vegetarian carrots was enlightening beyond words. We couldn't help but order their Torali Mafalde Bolegnese to indulge in their Italian flare of a dish. It was filled with their beef, veal, pork tomato ragu, garlic onion, aleppo pepper, oregano, and parmesan. They even offered a birthday song with what seemed to be their entire staff on hand was a definite treat. A very personable touch to the entire experience.

We came to Torali and sat in the patio bar! I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience. We sat down and waited some time to even be spoke to, then we asked for regular - plain fires and we received the Parmesan truffle fries which ended up being fine in the end. We never got asked what we wanted to drink and she never came back go ask if we needed anything else. Since she never came back to ask if we needed anything else we tried tabbing out at the bar which took quite some time and the bartender called and texted staff to come and we still waited time. The patio is nice, a variety of tables and booths to sit in. Nice view. Fries were good! Perfectly crispy. Good taste. However service was not up to par.

Why aren't people talking about this hidden gem rooftop?Next to the Broadway Playhouse in the Ritz. Quiet rooftop with beautiful views and cheap beer.

Our food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. We went on mothersday for lunch and they gave all the ladies roses, it was a really sweet touch. Passed out little desserts to go on the way out, free!

I was so impressed with the Restaurant Week Lunch here in 2024!For $25 it was a fantastic value and also just a beautiful classy venue with superb service! This restaurant is located on the 12th floor of the Ritz Carlton hotel which is located at Water Tower Place in downtown Chicago. My review of each of the items on the lunch menu:Appetizers: -Smoked Salmon Bruschetta, which was yummy and a generous serving, I wish it had a little bit more flavor (4/5). -The soup of the day was butternut squash soup (4.5/5 which had a nice creamy flavor and came with a few small pieces of bread).Main entrees: -Rainbow Trout (5/5 this was fantastic! One of the best fish dishes I've had in a long time, the skin was perfectly crispy and the fish itself super tender, super impressed with this dish!) -Mushroom Rigatoni (4.5/5 the mushrooms and the white sauce had an excellent flavor, definitely very satisfying if you're looking for a dish with some carbs) -Panini (4/5 the sandwich was perfectly crispy with melted cheese inside and the side salad had a nice fruity vinagrette which balanced out the heaviness of the sandwich).Dessert: -Chocolate cake (5/5- this chocolate cake was divine and one of the best cakes that I've had in recent memory! It was also a super generous portion! -Affogado (4/5 - I always love the flavors of affogado being the coffee fan that I am. The vanilla ice cream and coffee were great, but I didn't like the 3 little biscottis that it came with on the side because they had a licorice? inside). Overall, so happy with this meal and would definitely come back again!

Had a lovely lunch at Torali after a spa day with friends at The Ritz. The food was delicious, and our server was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The natural sunlight that the restaurant gets was amazing on a sunny, spring Chicago day!

I have to say... the server was kind... the delivery was the slowest around. This is a restaurant inside of the ritz. If a table that came in after me gets served before me and my drinks are not constantly flowing then what am I doing sitting at a table here? Food was fine. Came out warm. Made me wonder if it had been sitting due to the slowness. Again server was great and could sense my annoyance. But it needs to be said.

We came here at 6:15pm on Tuesday. This restaurant is located on the 12th floor of the ritz Carlton. Upon taking the elevators up, you're greeted with a beautiful bar. Quite a statement! The restaurant is tucked away by the lobby and is not very busy on this Tuesday night. The restaurant itself looks like a high end cafe but in a good way. Upon being seated, our waiter (Miko?) immediately took our drink order and brought us the warm bread with butter and this garlic, pesto oil. It was devine!I tried the spirit free sour drink and it was delicious. I also tried the aperol spritz which was made perfectly. For appetizers, we tried the PEI muscles and the frutti di mare. Both were great except the stone crab claws were tiny. For $45 I'd hoped this would have more seafood - although the quality was great. For dinner, we tried mostly all the pastas, and I tried the chicken Vesuvio. The only complaint I had overall was the pastas were a little overcooked, and the chicken was a tad salty. But overall the food was good and well executed. Below is how I'd rate the pastas 1. Truffle Galetti - 9/102. Carbonara - 7.5/103. Gnocchi - not my favorite but my boyfriend loved it and got it with steak (5/10)4. Bolognese - again, too gamey for my taste by my mom enjoyed it. Noodles overcooked (4/10)For desserts we got the prettiest, festive, Christmas looking cheesecake and the hazelnut cream dessert. The cheesecake was super unique and I surprisingly ate a good amount of it and I don't even like cheesecake. Overall, this is a good restaurant that I would return to. I am just taking off a star for the overcooked pasta and the few that weren't my favorite. would definitely come back here for another dinner or to try the lunch!

Spending time with my boyfriend's family for the holidays. We had Christmas brunch at Torali located at the Ritz Carlton on the 12th floor. Upon entering you have a grand lobby area which to the right another cool bar, to the left is the restaurant and from afar you have the roof top lounge where you see the skylights. We checked in at the hostess counter and we sat in a booth. Menu was not overwhelming at all. I ordered the Big Glory Bay Salmon and had a glass of Sancerre with it. The salmon was so juicy and soft. It was the filet Mignon of the whole menu. I was tried their Bear Claw. Not just any ordinary donut bear claw. This was like a French bear claw, like an almond croissant and I love the details on how they made the knuckles on the bear claw. Everyone enjoyed their meals and no complaints at all. Such a Grand experience!

Located on the lobby level of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the restaurant had a spacious dining room area. I didn't have to make a reservation. The breakfast prices were higher than online, but because I was doing a staycation, I tried it. The eggs were OK, but the potatoes looked cooked and were not. I asked them to cook it again, and it came back still uncooked. The host did give me a discount but I was disappointed. A Starbucks cup of coffee was $9.
