The store had a wide variety of unique and nostalgic ice cream flavors. Besides ice cream, they also have different fresh postres for sale as well- all very tasty. My favorite was the superman ice cream. Prices are very reasonable. They also offer savory bites, such as tamales, but we didn't get to try those. The service was great! The vibe is vibrant and energic, painted with extremely colorful and eye-catching decor. A good place to come in for a small bite in Pilsen.

The small bites and fast food here is made so well. Sometimes I sit here and people watch. This spot brings together locals: kids on scooters/ bikes, elderly with newspapers who sit here for hours chatting up the owner or little ones yearning for their cool summer ice cream. It's a sweet touch to the already poppin' Pilsen community.Personally, I love the Agua de Limon y Chia the most. The flautas are crispy and legit, the elote en baso is *chefs kiss*. These staples are hard to mess up, but you wouldn't believe how many others truly do get it wrong. I hope you stay around forever- and if you're in town- please visit this spot. People watch with me.

Wow wow I visited El Sabor De Mexico on my last day and it made me want to stay much longer! I had a paleta de fresa (hay opciones para crema o agua- elegí crema). It was so creamy, fresh, full of real strawberry flavor and I was so happy with my choice! I also bought a mangonada which was equally incredible! It was fresh, sweet and very flavorful. They have so many options of paletas, agua frescas and more- you'll want to keep coming back to try more things (I know I do!). At the register I ended up buying a packet of gorditas de nata and they were incredibly fluffy, sweet and just a perfect treat (I've had a hard time finding them in WA). Can't recommend enough and if I'm in Chicago again I'll be excited to visit again! (:

This place is amazing. We walked by exactly when I craved ice cream. It was perfect. The service was perfect, the ice cream was perfect. My first time trying elote corn ice cream - so yumm. Rice with milk was extremely tasty, creamy but not too rich. Rum with raisins was my favorite. The cone was perfectly flavored and crunchy. I could have tried all of their ice cream flavors and rolled out. I highly highly recommend this place and would come back instantly!

If you're into Mexican ice cream and paletas this is the place for you. I personally tried a couple of flavors, but there is something different about Mexican ice cream and "American" ice cream that throws me off. So instead, I ordered an esquite since there was a sign that these were now available but this was very very runny. The corn tasted fine, but not quite an esquite, there was not much mayo, and while there were jalapeños for some spice, I would have liked the red chili that comes on these savory snacks. Maybe next time they will have perfected the esquite. The space has a couple of tables so might be a cool spot to hang out in the area. The two girls working were nice though. They do accept card, but just know that there is a little fee if the items you purchase are under $10. (I don't remember what the fee was).

Came here one night after getting tacos because I was craving ice cream. They have so many different flavors and it's all pretty cheap! Some were very strange to me, as they had corn flavor, cheese flavor, and others I was too afraid to try!The one I got was delicious, although I don't remember what it was called :( (it was written in Spanish)The place was not very busy when I was there as it was a bit rainy and cold outside. There was no line and the girl who helped us was very friendly. I got to take taste tests of a bunch of flavors.I would definitely stop back here, and I plan on trying some of the other flavors next time I'm in this part of town!

I've been here a few times and each time I've gotten the mangonada (small for about $5.00, but they packed on a lot of fruit!). A great place to stumble upon for dessert or a snack! The place has a lot of ice cream and other dessert choices! They have random flavors that you won't find in the stores or ice cream shops. If you are an adventurous dessert eater, I would definitely come here. There's also a juice bar for those who are looking for a health conscious option. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. They prefer cash if your total bill comes down to $10 or below ($0.50 cent charge for those using debit/credit for a bill below $10). Parking is scarce around the area so you will need to drive around or park a few blocks away if you do find parking.

I asked for a $5 ice cream, the lady offer me to change de cup, but she never said it will cost me more. I paid $13 for a small ice cream, no napkins, no restroom. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

First the lady was nice. That was the only pleasant experience. Now, I ordered 3 chicken tamales $2.50 each. She put them in the microwave. The under side was hard. I ordered the Oreo parfait. It was $5 and made of mousse and a table spoon of cake. The corn in a cup was $5 had more mayo than corn. The 12 oz Jarrito was $5 as well. I dined in didn't get not one napkin and no restroom. I paid $23 for a horrible experience. Never again.

This place always had amazing foods, snacks and treats. Me and my boyfriends favorite spot nearby where we live. We come so much to this place and the lady there who always serves us is so sweet and so nice.
