When it comes to a Parillada, Las Islas Marias is my absolute favorite spot! The flavor is incredibly tasteful and the dishes are always delicious. However, the service can be a bit slow and the staff can come off as rude at times. On the bright side, the small size of the restaurant adds to its charm, and the decor perfectly complements the theme.

Pasta Marinera used to be larger , now it's to small We love the shrimp bolsita , ceviche , molcahete carry out or dine in

This review on las Islas Maria on Pulaski Ave is about common sense. The waitress started sweeping the floor right next to us as we were just finishing, sweeping hard where you could see food particles pass us. I looked at her and she said oh excuse me, so I thought she was either going to stop sweeping as hard as she was or just wait a few minutes, we were the only ones there, so it wasn't like there were people waiting to be seated. But she kept on, until I said to her to please stop sweeping our way because we were still eating, well of course she did not. So when our waitress came over to ask us if everything was ok , i explained to her and also told her I would not be paying for me food since it was probably full of floor dust. I hope someone at this restaurant reads this and explains to the staff how common sense and manner goes all long way. And if the owner reads this. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful she had nothing to do with what happened. So for this reason I will not be going back to this restaurant. ( oh and I almost forgot, the person who was sweeping actually had the nerve to confront me and argue with me saying she did nothing wrong ) Lol. I guess she likes floor dust and other peoples food particles in her food.

We came here for dinner and were seated right away. Our server wasn't very welcoming and never once smiled. She was way too serious for this business. I also had to ask them three times if they could change the channel to watch another game. Nonetheless, the food made up for their lack of customer service. Like any traditional Mariscos restaurant, they start you off with some fish ceviche My wife ordered their Pasta Marinera. It came with fettuccine pasta with mixed seafood and a cream sauce. It was very filling and delicious. I ordered my usual pina Rellena. It came with a spicy sauce mixed with seafood and bell peppers and covered with cheese. The cheese was a bit much, but I was able to manage. It also came with rice a side salad and garlic bread. You definitely get your money's worth as you get a lot of food and they don't skimp you on the seafood. I wouldn't mind returning but will probably give their other location a chance before I return.

We really like this place. They have great seafood soups and the steamed fish with seafood mix is so yummy. Generous portions as well!

The food was very tasty and was done pretty fast considering how busy it was on a Saturday evening.Really good flavors. And size portion was decent.

We like the molcahete it can be a little to spicy for my taste . Ceviche de pescado it's good . They also have a bag of shrimp comes with potato and corn .We have order take out and dine in many times .services it's good Totally recommend this location
