Been here about 3 times in the past year; with District 31 parents, my wife's family and recently Glenview couples. So happy HANGAR TWO is open in Glenview since we need the restaurant options. Really hope more people use them. They are affiliated with Tangled Roots Brewing and the craft beers are delicious! We met here on Friday night last week and choose to sit outside with about 16 people. They accommodated us by joining together 4 tables. Stephen, the manager was extremely pleasant to deal with and checked on us to make sure we were all having a good time. Lyda from the bar was making excellent drinks and came outside to meet us! Paul and Nathan were our servers and visited us outside regularly. They took orders from our large group some sitting and others standing. It wasn't easy for them but they handled it brilliantly! People ordered various items and they all said the food was outstanding. I had the fish and chips and was very satisfied. The drinks were great and served promptly. It's wonderful to have an establishment like this in Glenview and not just another franchise. Even though we were a large group the whole experience went smoothly. Hangar Two is a really nice place for your local gathering around Glenview, be it family, work, or your organizations! I highly recommend them for your next food/drink/social gathering! Parking is a breeze and it's in a quiet peaceful location. Support our local businesses you won't be disappointed in this place!! Thank you Stephen, Paul, Nathan, and Lyda for a wonderful time!!

This was the second time we've dined at this restaurant and, unfortunately, it will be the last. Hanger Two has a nice ambiance, with friendly and attentive staff. It is a clean and pleasant environment.Unfortunately, our dining experience was far less positive. First off, it was 10-mintes between the time we sat down and a server showed up at our table. We both started with a cocktail, my wife had an espresso martini and I had a classic gin martini. I ordered the Grilled Steak + Frites, a 12-ounce N.Y. strip steak with fries. My wife ordered the Gemelli Pasta Alla Vodka with Italian sausage. The drinks were served in large (8-ounce?) martini glasses and arrived promptly. Unfortunately, they didn't contain any more than a standard shot of liquor, and were shaken with copious amounts of ice to fill the glasses and were so diluted that they were tasteless. On the upside, my wife's pasta was very good and proved to be an excellent choice. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my order. First off, the steak was at least 50% fat and gristle. Whoever trimmed that strip loin needs way more training. Secondly, I ordered medium rare, but what I received was medium-well. I would have returned it, but this brings me to my next complaint, and that was the time it took to get served, which was nearly 1/2 hour. This was despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty, (on a Saturday night)! I didn't feel like waiting another half hour to be served. Finally, the fries were cold and white. It' almost like they were frozen and didn't spend enough time in the fryer. This might not be that big a deal, but it points to a lack of attention to detail, and / or poor kitchen management. Between the weak drinks, poorly prepared food, excessive time to be served and general lack of attention to detail, I can't recommend this restaurant.

I really wanted to like Hangar Two. My fiance and I had already toured the restaurant and were confident that we wanted to have our wedding reception here. The wedding coordinator gave us a coupon to dine in so we came by to try the food before confirming our reception. Thankfully we did because the food didn't meet our expectations at all. First, we like to order dessert first. We asked and our server even confirmed we wanted it first. Our cocktails came (which weren't good either) first. Then our entrees and the dessert. We had to ask them to put the dessert away as we didn't want the ice cream to melt but we also didn't want our hot meals to get cold. Unfortunately the food was disappointingly under seasoned. I got the Parmesan cod. First glance it looked like a frozen piece of fish. The tomato and sauce helped a bit but it still lacked. My fiance got the new York strip with chimichurri sauce. He asked for it medium rare and it came precut and almost completely rare in the middle to the point that it was cold and blue. He didn't even finish the steak and he never leaves anything on his plate. The dessert burned my tongue with how hot the berry compote was. We just ate the vanilla ice cream, the "crumble" was soggy and no crisp to it at all. I in good conscience wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

The food was good, the staff was friendly, it's in a little area without many restaurants nearby the hotel. Love when you can pay a bill by QR code. I had to take away a star because when we came they were very short staffed and overwhelmed, as a result they were not thinking about the simple things like getting us water to hold us over, then drinks, to stall for time. They kept seating people when they were way over capacity to care for the tables.

Our second visit was just as pleasant and quiet on a fall Friday evening. The tuna poke and Pear IPA were the highlights, the cheese curds were very well seasoned, and the burger was served with a huge portion of delicious fries. Great spot every time, and we even got lucky and hit happy hour upon arrival! Always a pleasure!

Went for the location, we were surprised at how good it was. We expected adequate but it exceeded our expectations. Our server was appropriately attentive, though the kitchen did not take note of her order specifics. I know she wrote no tomatoes, there was a whole conversation about it, there were tomatoes. I asked for fries for the table, I didn't expect them to come out as an appetizer, I was hungry, so they stayed. Our salads were nice and fresh. I would come back and try a burger next time too.

Beautiful spot right next to Abt. Dropped by for a beer during Happy Hour. There's 4 options you can get for $4 and the food HH looked pretty good although I didn't get any. There's a front outdoor seating area as well as a private room/greenhouse space that seems to be busy with corporate events. For a brewery, it was an elegant space.

This is by far my new go to restaurant when in the Glenview area and craving a burger and a beer. Definitely an upgrade in experience compared to the establishments at the Glen. The beers are outstanding. The menu has all the things you would expect at a bar: burgers, salads and more like oysters. The execution is just perfect. To top it all I really love the sun room in the back which makes it the perfect place for a relaxing lunch on a cold but sunny day. Service is effective and friendly. A good place all around.

We live in Alaska and were visiting Hanger Two for my wife's birthday. Everyone we met helped make it a wonderful and joyous experience. Server Paul, Bartender Mel, Chef Salvador and Managers Stephen and Marco were all terrific. The food was good and the atmosphere congenial. We will be back to visit again. Thank you.
