Great tortas! Sandwiches made fresh, fast, and tasty. Great prices for quantity too! They have plenty of deli meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh for sandwiches

Sorry, I have gone to bakeries all over the city, but this one was by far the worse of the worse. Yes, its hard to get parking since you have to pay on Armitage they will ticket you faster than a flea jumps on a one legged dog! The breads were not fresh, although my mom asked the lady. When we got to my aunts house, all others brought bakery goods also, but ours were not touched! Well they did pinch for freshness, and might I add, breads don't crumble when you poke. These did! No way will I go back, and this is definitely the no no of bakeries in the city.

I haven't been here early enough in the day to sample their breakfast sandwiches, but they still have a great selection of bread and pastries late in the day for cheap. Even late in the afternoon, they have an enormous selection of pastries and they are fresh. Everything costs $1 or less so you can stock up on a bunch of items for cheap. We once bought about 6 pastries (which were large) for less than $5. Yum. Since they're around the corner, I'm totally into everything they're selling, especially since it's so inexpensive. I'll make my way in to try one of those sandwiches soon....Parking is available on Armitage and I'm pretty sure it's free (non-meter).

First time coming here the sandwiches are amazing they a full with flavor and are huge I had to split it with my husband because I got full of half the slice. The Mexican bread is so yummy. Las conchas are simply perfect with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Highly recommend this place. Best part about this bakery is that everything is fresh!!

Love that I can call ahead for my turkey sandwich to order! Sandwiches are big enough to share with my co-worker =D (2 people). Definitely going back when I need to!

If you are looking for a great sandwich, you've found the place. I've ordered their hot sandwiches here many, many times and have never been disappointed. Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place, it's dated and a bit eclectic but the cook knows how to make his sandwiches, I'll tell you that. My go-to is the salami, egg and cheese (Munster) with everything. For under $6 the amount of food is incredible. Huge sandwich. I have also tried their pastries as well, which I have been pleased with as well. Also tried the coffee here but let's just say I'll stick to what they are known for.

Always look forward to having one of their breakfast sandwiches! They are amazing! I also noticed that they have new menus and are upgrading several things.

Hands down one of the best quality breakfast sandwich shops in town! I got the ham, egg and cheese sandwich that comes with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers and mayonnaise. The sandwich is packed with flavor and quite big of a sandwich too. Well worth your money. It's a 10 for me!

Best sándwiches. I moved away from the neighborhood but I keep coming back for those delicious sandwiches. Pretty cheap too.

Personally, I don't keep going back to Guadalajara for the baked goods. No- I keep throwing my money at them for their sandwiches. They're GIGANTIC, cheap, and incredibly delicious. True, the service is sometimes slow, but it's definitely worth it when you get to unwrap the behemoth and take a bite into it.I consider my self a bit of a sandwich connoisseur, and the turkey, bacon, and egg is one of the best sandwiches I've had in Chicago.
