Very stinky inside so we decided to sit outside but outside there is a very strong sewer smell. We didn't order any food just a couple of drinks. Service was mixed our server took a while but the table next to us got their drinks very fast. Drinks were small and soda in my mixed drink was flat. Such a great location but that's about all it has going for it.

If you're looking for a family-owned, cozy tavern and grill , Dylan's in the West Loop area of Chicago is a great place to go! It has excellent food and is conveniently located just one block from Union Station.Dylan's has the best Cajun chicken sandwich I have ever had. The Cajun seasoning complemented the chicken without overpowering the flavor of the chicken. The sandwich was served on a sesame seed roll with tomato slices, lettuce, red onion, and cheese. It came with a dill pickle spear and a side of perfectly seasoned fries. My server, Alexa, brought a side of aioli for the fries. It made them pop with a little extra flavor.Alexa was an excellent server. She was very attentive and friendly. Her cheerful, positive attitude showed that she clearly enjoyed her job. It was refreshing. I enjoyed chatting with her after my meal. People are quick to complain and slow to compliment. Since I like to be the other type of customer, I spoke with the owner, George, about my positive experience. He was very friendly and appreciated my feedback on my entire dining experience. We had a nice, long conversation. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire team at Dylan's managed to keep the business afloat. That says a lot. George said this is their 24th year in business.I now have a favorite place to get a bite to eat and feel as though I am among friends when I take the train to Chicago. Thank you George, Alexa, and the rest of the staff for making my dinner experience memorable!

Had no idea this bar was here as I went past it to Ogilvie Transportation Center. I made a note of it to come back some time. Dylan's is a fairly standard bar. Lots of typical beers and liquors. There's also standard food like burgers, and healthier choices such as hummus. After making plans for coming back with a few people, it was one of the stops at happy hour. It often has a few specials going on. There's usually some good prices on wells. It's about $7 at regular price. That's about as good as you can get in The Loop it seems. Also we had an appetizer. We got the Hummus Done Right. It's about $9 for a lot of hummus with things to dip in it. Not sure if it's done right. There were cucumbers, pitas, and tomatoes. Other food items include things such as burgers. They also have fish and chips. Basically a better than average dive bar. It's a great place for stopping before or after Ogilvie Transportation Center. The prices aren't the best but these aren't terrible.

Yea... will not be coming back here, even with how limited this area is with lunch places. Took an hour to get a lunch pasta and side of French fries. Our server had a major attitude problem- walking away from our table before we were finished ordering or asking a question, huffing and puffing when I asked for my check cuz she was annoyed, and when we asked her to box our food for carry out instead because we had to get back to work and it still wasn't ready, she just dumped my bruschetta into a box probably to be passive aggressive. I left her a 18% tip and after seeing this wish I left her nothing, and I've been a server for 8 years. I know busy - you can be busy & kind. She wasn't. If you want decent food but crappy service, go here!

If I could leave 0 stars I would, but unfortunately that's not an option. We waited 20 minutes for a Buffalo Trace on the rocks and a vodka (Tito's) martini, place wasn't full at all. The bill you ask? $46.13!!!! For Buffalo Trace and Tito's!!! Buffalo Trace is $30 a bottle. Tito's is $30 a HANDLE. I certainly did not drink a handle. This shit is crazy.

Good local spot with good food - especially the wings and a good beer selection. Vintage Chicago spot. Nice outside area. Dog friendly.

Food was average, drinks were alright. Staff pretty helpful in accommodating us after a mixup on closing time. About what you would expect from a bar and grill in West Loop.
