Had a very solid lunch here recently, which included the quesadilla and carne asada tacos. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. Awesome draft list too - I got a gose that was very refreshing! Would recommend to someone in the area looking for a casual, filling meal to share with friends!

Being in Fulton, we always pass by but never tried. With the warmer weather, there is some patio dining which works perfectly with our puppers! Love finding places that are dog friendly. My friends and I came on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded. Not sure if it's always this way or because it is Cinco de Mayo weekend. We were seated upstairs and it was quite spacious! For the table, we shared the beer plate and queso fundido. I was surprised by the beer plate. Don't get me wrong, chicharrones are really tasty but the portion was not very generous and it is quite deceiving given it is laying on top of a layer of peanuts. Also when I think of a beer platter, I think of nachos, mozzarella cheese, fried greasy food.. but instead the pork skin was paired with raw cauliflower and pickled carrots. I just don't know how it works together but to each of their own! The queso fundido was also a let down. Very thick hard layer of cheese and it was incredibly salty. Cheese itself is already salty so probably didn't need to over season. We ordered two pitchers of spicy mango margarita which were tasty! I appreciate how they salt and lime every individual glass. For me, I ordered a grapefruit beer which was tasty with a sweet tartness. For entrees, we ordered the California burrito with ribeye, few orders of the tacos - barbacoa, shrimp, and al pastor. The burrito was honestly super small. Not sure why it's called California.. I'm guessing because of the avocado and French fries.. though everything is so smooshed together you don't really get the texture from the fries. Overall pretty mid burrito. The ribeye was cooked very well though. Nice charred flavor. If only there was more of the ribeye.. I also wasn't a fan of the flavor from the al pastor or barbacoa meat. It tasted very bland and really nothing unique. I have to give props to packing the barbacoa taco with so much meat. Wish they did that with the delicious ribeye instead. My friend also ordered a michelada and it was not very good. Tasted like tomato flavored beer so we asked for a side of the tomato juice but found out it's made with hot sauce. Even with adding the hot sauce, it was underwhelming and we ended up not drinking it at all. As for service, understand it was a pretty busy Saturday night but honestly given they charge larger parties an automatic gratuity, you'd expect to have more attentive servers. Overall, definitely a good place to get drinks with a group of friends but not in terms of food and quality.

Straight to the point, I ordered the horchata porter. It was okay, I really didn't taste any horchata. To be honest, I didn't finish it all. Food wise, I ordered the smothered burrito. It was vivered in salsa verde, and it caused the soft tortilla shell to get soggy. The flavor was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The bartender seemed like she was in a mood. She didn't engage the patrons and spent most of her time in the corner.

Stopped in today for a couple beers. Bartender literally said to the two folks next to me "I don't eat here, I don't like the food here". Ordered 2 beers, both handed to me with half foam resulting in short pours. No patience at all even though the place was virtually empty. Preoccupied with phone and totally checked out. Used to love this place too and eat here all the time. Stopped about a year ago when, after asking for a side of pico, I was told "we only make that on the weekends now". Downhill spiral.

I've popped into Cruz Blanca a few times over the past couple of years and my most recent visit last week was the best by far. Not sure what's changed (maybe management wise) but I had a very above average visit. I was in the area after a work meeting and looking for something close by to grab a bite and finish some work before deadline. ut was a gorgeous day so the doors were wide open letting in the fresh air so I decided to sit at the bar and eat/work. The bartender was super helpful - I wish I would have got her name to include, and I too of doing everything she needed to do she was training a new teammate. The vibe was super chill - it was around 3:30. After I sat at the bar was quickly greeted and served water. I asked a couple of questions about the beer selection and decided to sample the palm shade and early retirement. I settled on the early retirement; but I'd definitely like to try the palm shade next time, and for linner, I went with the milanesa torta. I needed to get some work done so I checked to make sure it it ok if I did that at the bar and I was good to go. I the popped open my lap top, had a beer, a delicious torta and got the rest of my work done for the day. The torta is pretty BIG and the tomatillo salsa is delish! I took 1/2 of the torta and an another side of the salsa home. Overall really improved experience and I can see my self coming back sooner than my last visits this time for sure!

Cool brewpub in the west loop, nice atmosphere with Hispanic music , friendly staff and excellent choice of tap beers. They have variety of fruity ones - la floridita with hibiscus is my personal favorite, followed by Paloma with grapefruit. Food menu is great and the guacamole is always fresh!

What a fun little spot! We went in for drinks while waiting for a reservation and we were pleasantly surprised! The bar staff was especially friendly! I had a shot of tequila and the "Not Sangria" cocktail. I would definitely recommend this for people looking for a cute space with outdoor seating!

A solid just ok for me.Positives Decent number of beer options Beer pours are available in 3 sizes. I had one of the ipas that was pretty tasty. Only okTacos are $7 a piece, so I expected to be wowed. The al pastor I wasn't a fan of, but the barbacoa was super tasty. Bathrooms are downstairs, and it is dimly lit.If I were to return, it would be for the beer only.

We just stopped in here for a quick drink on a beautiful spring day. The Not A Sangria was outstanding. It was refreshing, had the sweetness to it, but not overwhelming. We were also treated to tequila shot which was very very good as well. Will definitely be back to try the food which looked very good. Definitely stop by for a drink passing by. It's definitely worth it.

My partner is a big fan of this spot so I was excited to try it out! Stopped in for a quick bite around 5pm on a Monday. We were seated by the open window since it was a warm and sunny day. The space between the patio seating and window seating was tight so it felt like you were sitting super close to the folks on the patio. They don't have much to offer for happy hour besides the shot & beer for $10 but they do have all-day daily specials. The chips and salsa were good - the red salsa definitely packs some heat. We got the crispy shrimp and barbacoa taco and the monday special which were two hardshell tacos. All of them were good! I definitely will return to try more and drink some beer!
