Very good cafe. Lattes are great and breakfast food tastes pretty good. Customer service is great and prices are reasonable. I come here any time I visit Chicago.

Cafe Press is such a cute neighborhood coffee shop! When you walk in, it feels cozy and welcoming. There are lots of people working at the tables, but there's plenty of seating, lots of natural light, and free wifi, making it a great place to get some work done. I ordered an iced latte and was so excited to see they had lavender syurp - my favorite! They were out of skim milk, so they offered a dairy alternative free of charge. This was super appreciated as a lot of my local coffee shops are out of skim and then charge $0.75-0.90 to substitute almond milk. They have a ton of different syurps to choose from, including some I don't see often. So fun! I also got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant to go. It was packaged nicely and warmed up for me, so it was still warm when I got home. The croissant was perfectly flaky and the bacon was thick cut and crisp. Perfection! Service here was great too. Everyone was really nice and they promptly fixed my friend's order when it was mistakenly made hot rather than iced without a complaint. I will definitely be back here again!

When I'm out of town, I like to explore local coffee shops to get my daily dose of caffeine and perhaps grab some carbs along the way. Before heading out one morning while in Chicago, I decided to whip out my Yelp app to see what was in the area. Cafe Press was within walking distance to my hotel, and it looked good so I decided to head over for some fuel.Cafe Press gives typical coffee house aesthetics - it's not too large, but has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the street which makes it feel very open. They have a mix of seating areas which makes it ideal to get some work done, or just to relax and sip your java. Since it's (almost) summer, I decided to order an iced coffee and grab one of their blueberry muffins. The coffee was fine - they didn't have coconut milk which was my first choice of creamer so I went with half/half. The blueberry muffin was just fine too, not overly tasty but not poor quality either - they offered to warm it which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, I found Cafe Press to be a solid choice for coffee in the South Loop. I didn't find anything too outstanding which is why it lands at a solid 3 for me, but you won't be disappointed if you decide to come here for a refreshment.

Got takeout for breakfast while we were staying close by. The egg sandwiches are fine but the eggs were rubbery? Still does the job but I probably wouldn't get a breakfast sammie again. Coffee was great and service was fast.

Cafe Press is a pretty good cafe for coffee and bagels. It has a pretty simple menu of typical breakfast offerings. Lunch stuff too. Fun relaxing environment. The prices are better than many places around here. I have come here mainly at breakfast. It's just a small cafe. There's a few seats with outlets on the walls. Lots of coffee. They have the classics and some newer ones. I like getting a Letterpress. It's about $3 for a medium. This is made with Colombian, Rwandan, and Sumatran. Non dairy milk is available. Oat milk and some other less common ones. Bagels are the best thing at breakfast. There's also things like breakfast paninis. I usually get a bagel. It's $3.95 with a Beyond sausage patty. This is good topped with cheese for those not a vegan. An alternative that works is marmalade. There's a good combination of spicy and sweet. Also they have a lunch menu. It has things like paninis. There's salads too.

Wanted to go for a walk and grab some coffee, so we went to cafe press. The space is very cute and clean, lots of unique decor. There are plenty of seats if you want to study or hang out with a friend. I decided to try the oats & honey latte, iced. It was good flavor, but very heavy on the honey. The homemade peach scone was good & the iced americano was tasty! We loved the roast flavor of the coffee. They appeared to be a bit understaffed, but there in a few extra delicious macarons as an apology for us having to wait, which I appreciated! The passion fruit flavored ones are worth a try. Would go back to try a sandwich for sure!

In the age of EarPods and headsets, I do not understand the need to play music obnoxiously loud!Second, their chairs screech across the floor when moved. A single package of chair gliders to the chair legs could fix the issue! If you like fingernail scraping on a blackboard you'll love this place!I thought cafes were for reading and talking...not loud music and screeching chairs.
