"Really cute more traditional Irish pub and restaurant. Lots of great wood work and art. The exterior is always nicely decorated and on point. It's a great vibe just to even walk past their dining section in front. The food and service was great too. I really need to head back for Sunday brunch. Just looks like a nice place to relax in the morning."
"Thanks to Metallica, this place was crowded. Max and I chose this place as we were taking my college friend out to dinner. Val has lived in Chicago for 30 years and I was happy that this was a first for all of us. The Prime Rib dinner is the real McCoy. The cheese curds were a nice treat as I'm always on the hunt for the best. I would describe the inside as being lush and reminiscent of a mob hangout that was taken over by urban hipsters. The wait staff was super friendly and wasn't in a rush to push us out due to others waiting for a table. Thanks for leaving a lasting impression on a dinner that took decades to bring us together."

"Great old world ambience. Easy street parking on a side street. Food was excellent. I had schnitzel and my husband had sauerbraten.Service was prompt."
"I tried the salmon dish, it came with asparagus and potatoes. It was very flavorful, the asparagus was perfect (not hard), the potatoes were good, and the sauce was the perfect compliment. The place was crowded, we decided to order to go. The staff were extremely nice. I would definitely recommend."
"Basically it's a cool old looking place with some basic divey bar food. If it doesn't seem cool to you, then you might be moody. Moody's Pub is like an old British pub but with even worse food if you can believe that. A beautiful old interior with stones and wood, and some stained glass. There's also a nice patio. A lot of good drinks. It's certain better than any food. This is a place we went recently and were disappointed with the mediocre selection. Drinks are the only thing we recommend from here. The best one is the Jaker's Mark. It's $8 for a big glass. This is lemonade, orange juice, and whiskey. Simple but good. The food sucks. It has limited vegetarian choices. We each got a Black Bean Chipotle Burger. It's $10.50 with a side like fries. This was a mushy patty. Most spice seemed to be chipotle powder, just lazy. The burger comes with lettuce and onions. Best thing is the atmosphere. It has a cool interior and patio. The menu is lame for vegetarians."
"I was staying right down the street at the Palmer House Hilton and wanted to try this spot. The exterior gave me a great vibe, see picture. The interior decor is old school, they have movie posters from Psycho on the wall and the mug shot of Frank Sinatra being arrested, great stuff to see all around the restaurant. The Exchequer Pub is right as you walk in the front door, the dining room is further back. They have great pizza, according to the person sitting next to me. For dinner, I got the Capone's Rigatoni with sausage and vodka sauce (A grade). This was a nice size serving, I could not finish everything. The service was very friendly, thanks Moe, who wore a Toronto Bluejays hat. The prices are great considering you are downtown in Chicago and you definitely get your money's worth. I washed it all down with a Zombie Dust - pale ale 6.5% ABV (Munster, IN)."
"I really liked this place when I stopped in the other weekend. A beer fridge full of Miller Highlife and a good assortment of craft beer (and cocktails) on tap. One of the specials was a bottle of Highlife and a shot of whiskey (Evan Williams). Good vibe and friendly staff. Would recommend and return to this place again!"
"This is one of my go to neighborhood bars with my fiancé! They have a special on the menu each weekday and it's always slightly different so you never get bored with the menu. During the summer time I love sitting at the patio with our dog. The service is pretty good as well. Definitely recommend as a chill go to neighborhood bar to grab a bite to eat and hangout with friends"
"I chanced upon this place one afternoon after my puppy yoga experience. Who would've thought that I liked it So much I would be here I weeks in a row.their Spinach and Artichoke Dip is seriously a must try!!! Also, get it with thebread instead of the chips. It's the BOMB!!!Their Pizza crust is also made WITHOUT EGGS! and I loved it! Both Deep Dish andThin crust are good. I do love to munch on the crust of the Deep Dish.We also liked their Sausage in Vodka Sauce pasta. It wasnt too heavy but creamy. Also loved the sausage. The place is a typical casual place. Nothing too fancy. Also shout out to CANDACE (Hope I spelled it right) she was my server for the twice that i've been there and she was amazing!!!!I am definitely coming back! Happy eating!!!"
"I know my way around a Chicago Irish Pub or two. I've been blessed to be intimately associated with one for the past few decades. I cut my teeth there and learned my way. A good Chicago Irish saloon is a public house, a place of comfort where people from all walks of life meet, eat, drink and socialize. I've been to Mrs. Murphy's once in the past for an event. To my shame, I have never tried their food. In may business I talk with people from all walks of life near and far, locals and tourists. A native Chicagoan I pride myself on recommending the best our city has to offer and Mrs. Murphy's is among those very best. I will never miss out on going here again and it will surely be on my top five list of places one must go in our city. Upon entering the foyer is beautifully grand. You feel as if you're in an Irish grocer. The offerings from the front door range from fine chocolates and candies to edible items you cannot easily come by elsewhere locally. Not already hungry? The first ten feet will cause this to happen. The decor is fine! Like old school Chicago architecture that harkens back to the old days, when neighbors would turn up in droves hoping to procure a seat within this saloon and restaurant. It simply has that Chicago feel you don't get in many establishments anymore. The ornate wood and the rooms are stunning really. Large, airy and wide open with a center bar that rivals most I've been in. I mean really, it's so beautiful and tastefully decorated that you may not realize people can actually get pretty loaded in here. Our server, a young guy who has been here about six years I think he said, was really a big part of this place. It's obvious why he's been here for some time. He knows his business and the menu really well, going in to describe what he liked most and had answers for all my questions. When I inquired about a choice between the Irish Breakfast; a personal favorite, and the Beef and Guinness Stew he said it was a tough choice but that the Stew was out of this world. I went with it. Admittedly, I'm a pain in the ass when it comes to ordering. I can't make up my mind ever. The larger the menu the more interesting the offerings the more of a pain I am. But to his credit he put up with me and steered me down the right path. The Guinness Stew was a large bowl with a heaping amount of thick savory brown gravy stew chock full of beef, chunks of carrots and baby potatoes. In the center of this beauty was a nice helping of mashed potatoes to mix in with your stew to or eat around it if you so choose to. Mixing mine in made it even creamier than it already was. Though I'me sure the Stout didn't hurt the creamy flavor a bit. It just made it that much more legit. The amount of beef in this stew is awesome. I mean, in anyone's stew you usually get a handful of beef but in Mrs. Murphy's Guinness Stew you won't go one spoonful without a chuck of tender beef in your spoon. WOW I can't say enough about this dish! My Guinness Stew was accompanied by a side of Irish Brown Bread. Really good brown bread and I know brown bread. It had flavor and was moist unlike so many dried out brown breads. Truly delicious with a dab of butter. There was some 'HP Sauce' in the condiment rack, I'm not sure what is was, a bit like steak sauce but different and better. I took the liberty of alternately dipping my brown bread in it and the stew. I'm weird that way I suppose.I was so intensely concentrated on my bowl of Guinness Stew I completely ignored my buddy and kept my mouth full while he did most of the talking. I forgot what he had, really, but he said it was pretty damn good. I did try his chips and yeah, they were pretty damn good. I truly enjoyed Mrs. Murphy's and Son's for several reasons. The service A+, the decor very well thought out, old school and memorable. The offerings outstanding. But one of my favorite things was that the patrons were of all ages and backgrounds, neighborhood folks and travelers from other neighborhoods as well. I guess it's been around for just shy of 20 years but it seems like it's been a part of the neighborhood since the beginning. Walk around, take in the decor and it's 2nd floor, it has stories to tell. I'm sure you can tie one on in this place and I'm sure they've asked their fair share to come back tomorrow after a few too many but you don't get that vibe here. To the contrary, it's an establishment I would have no problem bringing my kids. While my buddy had a few beers I myself am a non drinker so it can be hard to find a place that is a saloon AND a restaurant with food and ambiance as good and better than the spirits they serve. I guess I'm spoiled a bit by my association with my home Chicago Irish Pub. It, like Mrs. Murphy's is old, iconic, and original Chicago. It's difficult to find a place like that. But thankfully I have!"
"It was decent. We stopped here for dinner. We were seated right away and we're brought water. Drink order was taken. My wife had a $5 (Taco Tuesday special) Margarita. She enjoyed it. I tried it. A bit sweet for my taste. We ordered the Chicken Potstickers for an appetizer. Very nice. For dinner, we ordered:- Red Dragon Roll- Filet Mignon Japanese Hot Rock- Roasted Tofu and Shiitake Mushroom RamenMy wife enjoyed the Hot Rock meal, though not very filling. We loved the Red Dragon Roll. Note too that they use minimal rice in the roll. I was happy for that. I had the Ramen. I really liked the Soy Marinated Egg half. The rest of the bowl was just so-so in my opinion. I would come back for the Ramen, though their other varieties may be better. The broth wasn't very tasty or inspiring."
"Classic pub in the Loop. It even looks older because the outside is medieval. Monk's Pub is a popular gathering spot for downtown workers. Has the drinks and food you expect in a place like it. The prices also are about what you expect in a hip area though. Anyone looking for classic old pubs in Chicago has to come here. It's been here quite awhile, but with the old looking exterior it looks even longer. They have some kind of medieval theme. Just too bad they don't have old time prices. There's some pretty pricy stuff. Beer list is pretty big. Lots of local ones to choose from. It's about $9 for a basic cocktail. There's better ones that are even for expensive though. As for the food, pretty good, but expensive. There's typical pub fare like burgers and wings. Also they have a Beyond Burger. It's $16 and comes with a side. Good in spite of the price of course. The last time here the food came out fast and the atmosphere was good mostly. Gets pretty busy at lunch. It has plenty of workers from nearby coming in and when they get off. This is also one of the few places around here open on the weekends."

Hopping for a Wednesday. Stand outs are the Chicken pot pie, French onion soup, and the Cheese curds are excellent! The shepherds pie, fish and chips, grilled cheese with bacon were fine.Don't get me wrong, it's quality in every bite and it's hard to get a better look and feel not to mention the food of an old English Inn than Wilde. See my previous reviews it still stands

This old pub from 1935, being owned by the Gallio's family since 1950, is a must go to. It's old and wood warm. The bar probably hasn't changed since the beginning. Great service. Good food. The restaurant is large. The menu has a few Greek items. Drinks include a lot of Belgium beers and others, and specialty drinks. Hubs and I shared the ribs for two and a house salad. Ribs were plentiful and delicious with a plain sauce...not too sweet or spicy. Others had a good hamburger, and the pulled pork, ordered without the bun, was a lot of meat. French fries were crispy. We sat between the bar and the front doors, and people kept coming in. We did not have a reservation, and arrived around 5 p.m. and were seated right away. The place was busy. The waiter took a moment to take a group picture of us.

I've passed this place a million times and always wanted to stop in. I finally had the opportunity to do just that recently! I left a show at the Riv - which ew, wait for my review for that one... - and Green Mill had a cover. Where to? Let's head north and hit Fat Cat!To be honest, I thought this place would be way more vibey than it was. It kind of just felt like a sports bar. But the bartenders were friendly and attentive and the drink options were a-plenty.I was super intrigued to find they have thc-seltzers and may have had half of one... :) Worth checking out if you're in the area! I may just go back and try food sometime.

Wow the place was so dark inside I thought they were closed. There's mood lighting then there's Medieval lighting. There was no one the, I guess Monday's right after opening isn't a busy time.I ordered the Moody's Sloppy Joe Sandwich ($12). The sandwich was very good on a very good bun. Most buns don't stand up well this one did. The portion size was huge. It almost felt like a pound of beef, but was probably half a pound. It was seasoned just right. It hit my sloppy joe craving perfectly. Since the don't offer refills on Sodas I got a pitcher for $7. This worked. The service was Good and I got my food quickly.Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Rounded that becomes a 4 star. They are an old timey restaurant established in 1959. I would love to try their burgers. Would I return? Yes, the next time I'm in Chicago I'll be back.

This is a solid restaurant. It's the middle of the day, and they were busy. Max and I were here for the pizza. They boast having an award winning pizza. I should have asked what it was because I would say ours was great, but not award winning. Lovely dark wood interior.

I love this bar. Great beer selection, awesome cocktails. Bartenders and servers are friendly and helpful with drink choice suggestions - especially if the keg for a beer you want tapped out. The patio is nice and there's a pool table in the back!

Great beer. Will need to try the sandwiches someday. Plus it's in a lovely neighborhood near the dog park. What's not to like?

"The ambiance is an Irish pub. We were there around 4pm on a Wednesday and the place was lively. There was a huge group soon as you walked in having a drink together. They also had the big soccer game on.Most of the booths were taken. We got one of the last booths and we were greeted soon as we sat down and our order was taken. Soon as our order was taken someone else brought us waters. My honey ordered an Irish Coffee. He thought it was really good and loved the shaved nutmeg on the top.I highly recommend this pub."
"So I've been to O'Shaughnessy's a handful of times over the years, and the Irish pub seems to hit the spot. By some coincidence our last two visits came during major sports events (The Masters, Kentucky Derby), and there are TV's to show you the sports action. Recently my lovely wife and I stopped by for a bite to eat after checking out an art show nearby. We split the Classic Angus beef burger, which came with a tasty side of fries. The burger did taste beefy and went well with my pint of Guinness. The staff was pleasant throughout our mid-afternoon visit."
"How have I never come upon this cute old school Italian spot? Went for a casual dinner after yoga and it was a super casual crowd. Service was fast and friendly and she gave me my pasta recommendation, which I loved. If you only get one thing, get the Italian scampi. Our server said it was her fave dish and it did NOT disappoint! The shrimps are huge and breaded so lightly and the flavor was amazing. The sauce was also so good, I scooped it with a spoon. My friend got the linguine and clams was which was also delish. The lemon Italian ice was nice I was told and the espresso gelato was soft, creamy and decadent. It might have been the smallest and lightest touch espresso martini I've ever had. Will definitely be back for either pasta and to try others, taking off one star bc I thought the portions were pretty small and the espresso martinis were light and also small."
"Big ass bar. It's actually more like two because there's two sides, just like to a story, so here's a story about our time on a recent to visit to this North Center hangout. O'Donovan's is a good place for chilling or wilding out, depends on when and where. Enclosed bar is calm except when a party is using it and the screeching girls sing bad pop lyrics. The patio is the better one because of the fresh air and more room to even move. A good decision the last time here was coming earlier, because it wasn't as busy. It gets lots of parties on weekends, for birthdays and other events. The enclosed bar is okay when it's not crowded, which is on weekends. Patio is usually open on weekends if the weather is okay. That's the bar's better side. I like the breeze. The menu prices aren't as likable, but these aren't as bad as many places. It's about $10 for a cocktail. They have quite a few. My favorite is the James Bomb. This is some good shit. It has banana rum, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and Tropical Red Bull. Last time we each got a Beyond Burger, because it's one of the few vegan friendly good items. It's about $13, so not cheap. This came with a choice of a side. Good place to have a party or an event. It's also a unique bar because it has a few areas to choose from. The inside bar is great for parties and the patio is fun for relaxing and whatever."
"Bottomless mims - so obviously 5 stars.Pixel was our hostess for Easter Sunday drag brunch. Honestly, so amazing. She hosted, educated the children and used her pussy like a swiffer. Food was solid and r ew ally quick service. Literally refilled our mims every chance they got. I would highly recommend making reservations on Open Table, this place seems to fill up quickly. Would not hesitate to come back. Amazing show!"
"Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a fry for my dinner. This was so delicious the patty was so thick and juicy! Toppings included my favs tomato, lettuce, chopped onions, mustard, and pickles for delivery French fries were so crispy and not soggy at all. Packing was great too, sealed with a staple."
"This was a blast from the past from me. I spent many an evening here with the previous owner (John Cordwell) and the current owner (Colin Cordwell). Many a night was spent watching movies while having a meal or drink. I was not prepared for what I walked into when The Doctor and I went there for a meal. The original Red Lion, while it had a second floor, most of the activity took place on the first floor. There was the main bar, some tables in the front and a fireplace. Walking into the Red Lion, I was amazed at the transformation! I felt like I had walked into an English country estate library room. The second floor was gone, and the main room had an expansive view. The walls were covered in books and interesting memorabilia. While everything was new, it was good to see that the TV and Colin were still there.I will say the food was better than I remember, definitely a step up from general bar food. The Irish Nachos were a big hit with me, and I would definitely get those again. The Scotch Egg was also very good, but I am a sucker for those. The mac and cheese with the fried egg was a good side and the Shepherd's Pie was delish as well. The Doctor got a half house salad with chicken. While it was only a half of a salad, there was a lot of chicken on that sucker. The Ploughman's Plate was also a nice side, definitely would recommend that as a snack if you want something to munch on while having drinks at the bar. And they have bubbles, so that is a win win for me.Service was a little slow, but not a deal breaker as there was one person serving as hostess and waiting the tables. Staff is friendly and Colin is still Colin, full of jokes and a good conversationist, so it was great to reconnect. Jake, another bartender, was also lovely and good company. So glad to see that The Red Lion is still around and doing well. Definitely will be adding this to our rotation of places to hang."
"Found this bar with a good atmosphere and prices, where getting both is rare around here. It's in Printer's Row close to a few hip and more expensive places. Kasey's Tavern only has drinks, but they have tons of these. Get something for almost any preference, hard or light. There's lots of local beers, many versions from famous and less famous liquor brands, and wines. A good place if looking for just a drink. I've been here a few times and have gotten quite a few things that other places have but sell them a lot more expensive. This is certainly one of the cheapest bars around here. Especially for its location that's quite an achievement. It's about $6 for the cheapest liquors. Most others are only a buck or so more expensive than that. Find something for almost anyone. Lots of local beers on tap. They even have lots of wines. Be divey or fancy. There's also lots of TVs so it's a good place to watch shows and games. Better when it's not as crowded. It's one of the few bars around this area that are open very late. They have pretty much just drinks and not really any food except maybe having some frozen pizzas."
"God, I love me some dive bars, more so when they're located in centralized locations i.e. on a major street, sandwiched between two train stops. The Harding Tavern is so much more than your average dive bar, though. With dine-in seating, you have premium beer/cocktail options on top of meals fit for any type of day. Their tap options are stacked, in my opinion. They have a rotating 'pint of the month' that highlights an alluring $5 price tag. Special mention, these guys have Goose Island Bourbon County stout on tap, which, to me, is incredible. I'm never in the market to buy a full bottle of one of these drinks, so a 10 oz pour is just right. The tavern itself is pretty compact, with the bar area located in the middle of everything, so it's pretty easy to get a tender's attention. Service is always prompt no matter the time of day. Brunch deals are available with their complimentary mimosas with a brunch entree purchased and a $38 package deal that includes a bottle of bubbly + OJ.I think the THT is a solid option to grab a drink in Logan Square. Great to bring some friends, to bring a first date, or to just grab a drink and watch a sports ball game alone. No judgment! Its accessibility alone to the NW side of the city is reason enough to check this bar out."
"The service Great!- the pizza is fabulous. Thank you for still being the CHICAGO DRAMATISTS go-to restaurant!"
"Cool place you got to like in the middle of a residential area of Bucktown. It's very much a neighborhood bar but it's welcoming for the most part. Lottie's has been around a long time. Has a couple parts to it. There's a basement and there's the upstairs with the bar and kitchen. A lot of bars like this are mostly visited by those in the neighborhood, and this is pretty much the case here. It's actually surrounded by housing so it's no surprise. This is a few blocks away from any other bar or restaurant, so it's basically the most convenient to get to. Now that more people know about it, there's bigger crowds. Of course that brings in more business though. It has lots of beer. Lots on tap and many more in bottles and cans, as well as plenty of liquor. It's about $8 for most typical cocktails. The food is basic bar stuff. A lot of fried items. It's $5 for chips and salsa. A bit of a Mexican menu. There's also quesadillas. If not wanting Mexican there's also wings and that kind of grub. They get food out pretty fast it seems. Good place to get away from most of the hipster stuff in Bucktown. It has much better prices. There's still plenty of those who come here and it's not as good as it was but it's still better than most places around it though."
"Checked this out with a few coworkers. It was a good place for happy hour. Randolph Tavern is one of the hip old style bars in The Loop, with a bit of a modern feel as well. Gets pretty packed especially on weekdays at lunch and during the evenings. The prices are pretty high on most things but that's about typical for location. A benefit of the location is it's easy to get to things from here. It's just a ways from the theaters and close to a few museums. This place is known for its many beers on tap, and the drinks are what keep people coming back because the food isn't impressive for the high prices. Expensive drinks and food. Way too high on most things. It's about $10 for a whiskey, and that's the cheapest shit. We actually liked the food, but it was too expensive for the portions we all thought. For the appetizer it was the Jalapeño Hummus. It's about $14 for a plate. This came with pitas and vegetables. Okay but not worth all that honestly. The hummus had good flavor and the vegetables were crispy and fresh at least. Good item for a little sharing among a few. The hummus had some kind of secret spices and while I couldn't tell what these could be, I can tell you these were all good. Even though prices are high, it's a pretty cool ass bar. It's like it has an old school charm but it's also modern. The prices are the only bad thing."
"Thank you O'Callaghan's for such fun last night in Chicago. Went to so many different bars and this was the only one that would let us in we also had great service for food and drinks! Overall I was just drinking water which they have bottled water. My friend was drinking black label on the rock and our server came by multiple times to ask if we needed anything. It was amazing and I'm so happy that the servers were so nice. We also decided to order their chili fries which are made in-house and also came with waffle fries. This was the bomb and delicious. A must for just snacking and enjoying the night."
"Okay, I came here on a whim with some friends on a Sunday and I loved it! Their menu is very enticing! I split food with a friend: Figgy Stardust burger (with a turkey burger) and Fish and Chips (on special). It was one of the best fish and chips that I've had outside of Europe. The burger was savory and sweet. The fries were cooked perfectly, cripsy crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.I can't speak to drinks, but I can speak to food. I loved what I had and I look forward to coming back. Also, shoutout to the Sunday bartender because he was working alone for a portion of my time there and he was still tending to all guests at the bar and in the dining room."
"Had a visit to another Lincoln Park dive bar. It's not that much of one but it's as divy as you can get there it seems. Gannon's has a mix of Irish and other themes going on pretty much. More known for the drinks such as the beers on tap and some mules that are refreshing. The food is pretty basic stuff like pretzels, wings, and those types of things. Came in at lunch and it wasn't that busy for a weekend at least. It has a pretty good amount of space inside and out. There's a beer garden in the back open for summer. It's about $10 for a cocktail. Pretty good stuff like the Irish Mule, made with Jameson. Basic food on the menu however. There's greasy stuff like burgers and that if you want. It's $8 to get a couple of Jumbo Soft Pretzels. These are good to munch on with beer or whatever. Also they have cheese curds. These greasy things are among the good things for sharing. Get some great beers on tap and some cocktails. It has a pretty basic food menu. There's burgers, pretzels, and whatever."
"Have mostly only gone here for drinks - need to do some market research on the food menu - but I love coming here. Cozy, neighborhoody, friendly, welcoming, this just feels like a good spot to meet up with friends, watch the game and get a drink.Family friendly with seated tables for food and bar/high tops for more casual stop in. Staff are awesome"
"Amazingly good food in a standard neighborhood pub with friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Ordered shrimp tacos (3), calamari, and Cobb salad. The tacos were decent, with generous avocado. Calamari was a bit greasy but good enough, very fresh and hot. My favorite was the salad. Enough of a meal for 2 people, one being a 6'5 giant. Recommend as a late-night stop for food, nice TVs playing some sports if you want to be amongst others but left alone. Hahaha."
"If you're familiar with Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club, then you should come here for dinner! They're owned by the same person. The food is delicious and they have a great selection of drinks. Never disappointed with the food or service. Take advantage of the patio during warm months."
"I came here with a friend and sat outside-then inside. While the bar area is small-it is a nice place to have a conversation. Both inside and outside.I want to come back and try the pizza. The staff was laid back, yet attentive and "down-to-earth"plus respectful and professional!"
"I ordered some wings and cheese curds to go from Becks. The guy that took my phone order took my order and made sure my food was ready for pick up when promised. The two guys that were working the bar when I picked up my food were great. They were very friendly and greeted me with smiles. The wings are priced fairly as well. I ordered 20 wings for $28. I was able to get half Buffalo and half Honey Sriracha. The Buffalo wings were great. And tasted even better with bleu cheese but, wasn't a big fan of their honey sriracha. I don't know what it is, but this is the second time that I've ordered something with sriracha, and being let down. I was expecting a nice Asian sweet and spicy bite but sriracha sauce was completely missing. It wasn't a complete let down, as the honey sauce did taste good, I was just hoping for something spicier. The curds were also pretty good. You don't get that many for $9 but they were pretty big bites. Overall I was left satisfied. I've read so many reviews about people coming here while they wait for a table next door. I'm pretty sure they don't mind that extra business they're getting from waiters from next door, Becks should warrant its own visit for food as well. It's definitely worth it."
"So I have been to The Windsor Tavern a few times now, as some peeps I know really dig this unassuming watering hole at the corner of Milwaukee and Windsor just a few blocks south of Jefferson Park. They have outdoor seating along Windsor during the warmer months. The servers seem pleasant, but when it gets busy here you sometimes have to flag them down to pay up or check on your orders. The wait for the food to come out can take a few minutes so hang in there with your beverage and check out a sporting event on one of the TV's, or do some people watching amongst the locals who come here for a brewski. They do have a pretty good beer list here, along with a limited food menu. The sandwiches come out with fries that are crispy and taste like those at Popeye's chicken, so that is a good thing. The reuben with sauerkraut is a solid sandwich, and comes with sides of Thousand Island dressing and cole slaw. The burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and pizzas are also popular choices. They also have something called Irish nachos on the menu, but we have never seen those come out yet."
"The most expensive wrap in the city :( Really wanted to love this place but dang do they nickel and dime you. $21 for a chicken wrap with curly fries before tax and tip, so really $27 all in which is insane. To charge $3 to provide less food inside of a tortilla inside of a salad, and $5 for chicken, and $2 to switch fries to curly fries is just ridiculous. Rambler Burger for $14 was comparably a total steal and much better than the wrap. Waitress was okay but apparently there were a bunch of holiday specials that she neglected to mention to us. Weather was iffy but they have a side patio and a back patio that both looked like great spots for nice days."
"Great neighborhood bar in Bridgeport and close to Sox Park. Plenty of beers on tap as well as bottles and cans. The food here is excellent - the Ballpark Burger and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich are delicious. Servers are very friendly - BallPark Pub is a must visit in Bridgeport!"
