"We looove Molly's cupcakes. It's a must-have every time we come back to visit to Chicago. You can't go wrong with stuffed cupcakes. Seriously. My son ordered the Samoa one, and I got a Nutella stuffed one. Both of them were so yummy!! Easier to knife and fork it, but you can manage with your hands too. We so miss being near to Molly's."
"A Chicago classic that serves old school desserts! You won't be finding any super trendy desserts or croissants here. Just delicious cupcakes, cookies, and pies. I love their cupcakes so much and it is one of the few places in the city that you can grab a whole cake without reserving one in advance. My favorite is the chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing! The service is always very friendly and it is a super cute shop with almost old school vibes!"
"All of the treat I got were so delicious. The unsweetened passion tea was delicious when I added sugar and I was so pleasantly surprised by the banana pudding. I normally hate banana pudding, but this one is perfectly sweet, creamy and amazing texture. The wafers weren't soggy and disgusting which is why I normally avoid banana pudding. The chocolate brownie was flakey, chocolatey and all around wonderful. As was the nice tart and sweet key like cheesecake. There's a quaint seating area that reminds me of New Orleans. Had a nice downtown treat with my girls and daughter."
"This was an impulse stop while walking home and it was worth it. We chose a brown butter banana and a tiramisu cupcake. Both were delicious! We ate them over the course of three days, they never dried out and stayed perfectly moist (we did move them to the fridge after a day and kept them in an airtight container).Banana can get easily lost when you add other flavors in, but the luscious brown butter frosting complemented the just ripe banana flavor very nicely. The tiramisu was the right balance of cupcake to marscapone frosting. It's not an overly strong coffee flavor, and the cocoa dusting isn't too much (meaning you don't cough after a mouthful of powder).I also cannot stand those cupcake places out there with the mile-high frosting (like they're trying to hide their poor cake quality), that is definitely not the case here, the proportions are perfectly delicious. We will be back!"
"I've been here a few times now and I genuinely enjoy returning for the spicy Korean bbq bun. They have a nice little selection here and the staff is always friendly. As far as price point, it seems slightly higher than other typical bakeries, but they are hard to find at times in Chicago... especially on the North Side, so I am not complaining. Will be a returning customer!"
"I was HOOKED on Molly's cupcakes when I visited Chicago. My personal favorite by far was the white chocolate raspberry. I tried most of the cupcakes and nothing beat the white chocolate raspberry. The cupcakes were just SO good. And the interior design was super cute! They had cute swing seats. There was a book wall with lockers across from it on the way to the restroom. Everything here was just adorable, it was well lit and great for some cute pictures. They also had two giant stuff animals in one of the seating spaces. The place is self serve, they have a station with forks, napkins, a sink and everything you need to clean up. Tl;dr - Great interior for cute pics. Cupcakes are delicious. Love the white chocolate raspberry"
"This was a cute little bakery with such good cupcakes! There were so many flavors to choose from, but ended up getting the carrot cake, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter chocolate ones. All of which were so rich in flavor, not to sweet but not too plain. We just got them and left, but the inside of the store was very cute and cozy. Other than cupcakes they also had a bunch of other desserts as well, which all looked delicious too."

I forgot how good mollys cupcakes can be compared to store bought. This location though did not have any hot drinks because the machine was down. It would have been great to have a coffee with our cupcakes. We got the red velvet, pumpkin, churro, and flourless chocolate molten flavors. I loved the cream cheese frosting on the pumpkin the best. The churro was tasty, and the flourless chocolate was nice and dense. I didn't love the red velvet surprisingly, because that's usually my favorite flavor.

First time trying Sweet Mandy B's and was not disappointed! The iced sugar cookies are going to be my new guilty pleasure. Phone did NOT eat first this time lol. We placed an order online and picked it up, it was ready super fast (less than 20 minutes). They even had an Olympic themed sign in the window to celebrate!

Just me and my sweet tooth again. They have a pretty large selection of treats. I decided on the banana pudding and vanilla cake. Great call! The banana pudding was good but I've had better. Now onto the vanilla cake, it was delicious. Moist, not overly sweet, perfect amount of icing. Lord the cake was delicious. The bakery is an okay size and staff were very helpful. They answered all questions and kept the line moving quickly. I'll be back for sure!

You wouldn't expect a bakery with a French name in the Vietnamese neighborhood of Chicago to have lots of Filipino goodies - I sure didn't the first time I walked in - but that's what La Patisserie P has loads of, along with several other Asian countries represented.Even though Chiu Quon is across the street you can get bbq pork buns here, but also pepper steak buns, curry buns, spicy Korean bbq buns, and more. For my fellow Filipinos you can score giant butter ensaymadas, hopia with different fillings like pork or munggo (mung bean) or ube, or a pack of pandesal. They sell croissants, Japanese custards, cookies with intense butter flavoring - just a huge variety in this tiny store.LPP has become a must visit anytime we're in Argyle, we always leave with a huge box of goodies and I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't know about it sooner. Hopefully other people aren't as deprived of LPP as much as I've been.

This was a such a cute bakery. As soon as my granddaughter saw it we knew we had to make a stop. The space was very roomy and inviting. Enjoyed checking out their decor and all their offerings. We also noticed how clean everything was. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We ordered several items to go but my granddaughter wanted her cupcake on the spot. She enjoyed every single bite. They offer a nice selection of baked goods that make it difficult to choose just one.

Molly's Cupcakes has been a Chicago favorite of mine since I was in High School. I moved away to Minnesota, so now whenever I'm back and near a location I drag whomever is with me for a cupcake! This time around, we were nearby at the Guinness Brewery and I saw there was a Molly's a few blocks away. We stopped in at about 5:45 on a Sunday and the place was empty, but the case was pretty full! So many options to choose from including cupcakes, cheesecakes, rice krispies, cookies, etc.I was in the mood for chocolate so I got the Cookies N Creme cupcake, and my boyfriend also wanted a chocolate covered Oreo.We sat at one of the bar tables and scarfed down the treats. The cupcakes still remain my favorite - with a delicious Oreo filling, chocolate cupcake, and rich buttercream. The chocolate covered Oreo was nothing special, but a fun little treat.

"This place is located in the west loop area. The staff were friendly and attentive. They have a wide selection of cupcakes that you can choose from. I decided to go with the butter, scotch and the cream Brulé,. The cream Brulé is ridiculously amazing and I highly recommend. The butterscotch was not as tasty it was a little dry. The prices are decent. There are plenty of tables where you can sit down and enjoy your delicious treats. The decor is nice and fun. They have street parking where you can pay to park. No one informed me of any rewards program when you pay if you ever have you square it shows up as Muslim company and you get an email which can be a little confusing. I hope you enjoy."
"Chef James - you are absolutely amazing lol. I ordered a two-tiered custom cake for my boyfriend's birthday and we're still in awe looking at it hours later. If you need a custom cake that is creative, funny, and somehow beautiful at the same time, this is 100000% your place. Rayan helped coordinate my ideas into the best cake of all time. Omg, I cannot thank or recommend this place enough. THANK YOU Chef James, you are the artist of all artists!!!"
"I don't even know where to begin. This is a group of Miracle workers!I called them with only 2 days to turn around a VEGAN & GLUTEN FREE custom Blueberry Cream birthday cake for me. Even though this wasn't an option on their menu, they were confident they could do this for me and in my extremely short time frame. I was skeptical. It was all just too easy. And at the right price! The value was great.I told Megan it was my birthday and that I wanted it to look 'pretty' but that I wouldn't have the first clue how. There were so many add on options for a fee but I didn't ask for any bc I wasn't sure how it would look.To my (pleasant) surprise, when they delivered the cake ON TIME, she had given me a complimentary upgrade in design - it was pretty obvious! And I was in love. But then it was finally time to cut the cake. I was nervous - vegan and gluten free; and it's PRETTY?! Hmmm... How will it taste though???DECADENT! That's how! Extremely moist. Not too sweet. You could taste the freshness of the blueberries. It was absolutely the best cake I have EVER had!The cake feeds 15. I only had 6 people over and I only had 2 slices left over to freeze that night.Do yourself a favor and PLACE AN ORDER!!!!"
"I've had much better cupcakes. The Orange Dream didn't have any flavor. The Red Velvet was dry and it just didn't appeal to me. Service was fast and pleasant."
"Great little hidden gem of a bakery/Cafe. They have amazing bread but even better are the tamales available only on Saturday or Sunday. I have yet to try sandwiches but will be back for sure, don't miss out on this spot!"
"This was a treat. I found this bakery on IG and it looked so adorable that I wanted to take my tween to give it a try. I was in the area Sunday and decided to pop in.Super welcoming and friendly service. They seemed so appreciative to have my business before I even picked what I wanted which was a plus. I will be back often!I ordered 4 cupcakes: Coquito Cupcake - the coconut, icing and cake together were a lovely sweet mix.Piña Colada Cupcake - my favorite of the four that I bought! The icing was the perfect amount of sweet with the cake that was slightly soaked. The cherry on top gave it a nice complete finish. So yummy.Guava Dream - the perfect fruit like cupcake. The icing and cake makes each bite of this taste like ice cream for some reason sooooo delicious!!Dulce De Leche Cupcake - my second favorite! It tastes like a creamy caramel like cake that was so delicious. I didn't expect to love this one but wow"
"I passed by Smallcakes on my way to work and decided to get my coffee from this place. I ordered a Caramel Latte with Almond milk and the coffee tasted good however the cost was not justified. $8 for a small 12 Oz cup is a bit pricey and I'd prefer to go to other cafes around the neighborhood than pay such an expensive price."
