Caravela Portuguese Restaurant Miami

We went for Mother's Day and the service was good despite the place being full. The AC doesn't work to well so it was a little warm, they had a couple of fans running, maybe the AC is having problems. I ordered the New York with the egg on top, it was good but not that great, most at the table ordered fish, I believe the corvina and it seems it's a better choice.

Great food, perfect ambiance. Service was amazing. Don't miss this Resturant the Portuguese tart for dessert was the perfect touch to finish the meal

Came on a Friday night for date night, and it was definitely the perfect ambiance. I recently came back from Portugal so I was craving some Portuguese cuisine and this place definitely exceeded our expectations. It was as though we were in Portugal all over again. We were serviced with great attention and care. Our waiter gave us the best recommendations, and the food was excellent. To start we had the vinho verde (green wine) which we couldn't do without! For our appetizers we got the bacalao croquettes and they were delicious and warm, the sauces that it came with really added a special touch.We then went on to try the arroz Marisco and the octopus, the octopus had the perfect taste and was complemented followed by veggies. The arroz marisco was good as well and it was a large portion, two can definitely share the plate. Finally we got the Pasteis de Nata and it had the same flavor and taste as the ones we had in our trip!! Overall we would come back to try other menu items :)

Let me start by saying Im not the biggest fan of seafood but if you are then this spot is for you. The food was good, the service was fast and the ambiance is really nice. If you want a nice date night this is a good spot. Bon appétit.

Back a second time after my initial 2019 visit and it was only better! A great addition to Miami not only Doral!

Excellent food, well prepared and delicious. Service is a plus. Also the restaurant is ample and luminous.

The place was simple and elegant. The food was delicious!! We ordered a salad with the fish of the day. The salad had garbanzos and we could not stop eating them.

Everything we ate was great! The service was superb and the time spent here was fun and memorable. Come support them, you won't regret it!
