This is an awesome spot to go of you want to get some time away from the hustle and bustle of the Atlanta scene. It's a good date spot, and it has that type of low key and intimate vibe.It is in a strip mall type of situation so there is free parking. The spot is a little tucked away though. It's not at the front of the parking lot so just be aware that you have to go into the complex to find it. It has a lot of different places to sit, inside...outside... in the back...at the bar... etc. The restaurant may seem like it has a lot of little duck off areas, a lot of corners that you can find a table at, so that is not a bad thing because you may not want to be in the midst of a crowd all the time.Cookies and cream - this was great, it was full of cookies and a lot of flavor. I would definitely suggest this.White chocolate raspberry - This one was the one. My waitress suggested it and this hit all the notes.... it felt like a sin trying to eat it, thats how you know it was good lol. super creamy and subtly sweet with the raspberry tinge. Cookies and Cream - This was the first one I tried and it was super solid. I love cookies and cream ice cream and this was very reminiscing of that in a very good way.Overall if you want a good slice of cake (even though its almost $15) then this is a good spot. If you want an out of the way area to have some convo, this is a good spot.

Where do I even start?!? Cafe Intermezzo is one of my fav places to go for a chill vibe, carrot cake, & a cocktail. No matter the location I am always guaranteed to have amazing service. On my last visit I enjoyed just that! A hefty slice of carrot cake & an espresso martini! I usually opt to sit at the bar when I'm solo but definitely the perfect date day/night venue.

Beautifully lit, wonderful service and wonderful food. I came here for dessert and drinks for my birthday on 9/21. I ordered a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake with the Kyoto Cherry Rose Tea. 5 stars

A friend and I visited a month back on a weekday evening - and boy, it was busy even then. We did get seats fortunately. The place is a vibe with the dim lights and interiors. I found it pretty. We didn't want to have food - we just got beverages and desserts. I got a Mexican hot chocolate and my friend got a Cappuccino. The Mexican hot chocolate was interesting with the cinnamon and chocolate flavors. You must appreciate both to appreciate this. Also, this is a dessert in itself so be mindful while ordering. For desserts, I had ordered a Mississippi Mud pie (I believe that's what it is called - it's essentially a dense and rich chocolate cake) and my friend got the Tiramisu. My dessert ended up getting packed as is because the hot chocolate was a lot. The next day, it tasted alright. Not as decadent as I imagined it to be. The tiramisu is a guaranteed hit. The space is cozy. The price point is okay ish. There's plenty of parking in the area. I just wish they did better with their coffee and beverages. For a cafe, I expect the beverage options to be top-notch. It doesn't impress there.

This was my first time here at this location. Cute spot for a date or girls night out for sweets or coffee or cocktail. Our server was really nice and attentive to us even after a mishap with another customer she remained calm and collected. If you aren't a cheesecake fan, there are other cakes and desserts that you can get. There's lattes and coffees of all kinds and after dinner drinks and liqueurs. Parking is free also.

The cheesecake was a great touch to the ending of my day. I loved the expresso martini it was perfect and the outside patio was perfect on a great evening. The service was great as well. The tables are little, so it is very intimate but I thought it was a great place to go to for a chat and a good drink.

I used to frequent the Buckhead location often til it closed. Been to perimeter one a handful of times...FOOD NOT THE SAME! I always get the seafood crepes and always too little meat! So maybe I'll try something else...cappuccino always THE BEST! Cocktails WEAK AH! Stick to wine if you drink...overall it's 2.5 stars in my opinion...NOT THE OLD CAFE it used to be.

One of the most sophisticated and classy restaurants I have seen here in Atlanta region with such great food options to choose from. From the dimmed lights to the highly decorated dining interiors everything was just amazing. A perfect place for a Valentine Date night! The wait time was told to be 30mins but they returned a call in less than 15mins. The restaurant was huge and relatively dark but nicely lit.We ordered a starter, a main accompanied by a Hot chocolate and couple of desserts. Hummus with Naan (Starter): was good with the mushroom and olive tapenade center and hummus spread around it. The Naan was extremely soft, good and went well with the occasionally bitter Hummus. Tomato Basil Pasta: was just as expected with some herbs and very little cheese topped in a pool of marinara sauce. The sauce was more than the pasta. Hot Chocolate Berlin: was easily the best pick of our Valentines evening. The most delicious and extremely creamy Hot chocolate I have ever had. With hazelnut spread across the brim of the large cup and also at the inside bottom of the cup was just top notch. Highly recommend this! The sweet was perfect and tasted amazing. Hazelnut Chocolate Banana Crêpe: was great with Pecans and powdered sugar all over the top and with some tasty hazelnut chocolate spread on the bananas. I loved to have this full but the quantity was just way too much. Tiramisu: was not the best of Tiramisu's I have tried. Would have to say they kind of played safe with not so much of coffee dusted on the top. Hot Chocolate DeLuxe: would be the hot chocolate kids wouldn't prefer as it was more on the bitter side compared to Berlin Hot Chocolate. It was more of Dark cocoa powder but that was expected as per the description. The ambience was really really good for a date! It's more of a restaurant than just a cafe or a coffee shop in terms of looks and feel. The dim lights are great with candle on the table making it more romantic if you are with your loved ones. The service was literally fast and quick. BOTTOMLINE: Perfect for date nights. Great desserts, hot chocolate and coffee options. Good for light dinners. Amazing ambience. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Hot Chocolate Berlin, Hazelnut Chocolate Banana Crêpe, Tomato Basil Pasta, Tiramisu

I Felt Like I Walked Right Into A Vintage European Coffee House. I Love Dining At Places That Take Me To A Different Time And Country. The Servers Were Sweet & My Caramel Cappuccino Was Divine With The Rich Schlag Creamy Goodness. I Should Have Been A Bit More Adventurous With My Food Choice. I Ordered The American Breakfast It Was Very Basic. My Friend Ordered The Chicken Salad On Croissant & Said It Was Delicious & My Other Friend Had The Grilled Chicken Brioche & Loved It. The Bruschetta Was Very Good. There Was A Romantic Charm At Intermezzo With The Lighting & Decor.

I'm waiting for the announcement that this location is closing. This used to be a great place crowded with people and tables everywhere. It's now spacious and is empty as they've removed the tables that used to be near the railing and the interior setup of tables has been reduced. It's lost that cozy intimate feel outside and inside. The menus are gone as are the cute glass containers of sugar cubes. There is no longer a person to educate you on the deserts choices. You better figure it out on your own and either write it down for yourself or remember it so you can tell your waiter. I miss the old days there and I'll opt to go to the one at the Avalon as it still has all the things missing from the Dunwoody location.
