Buteco

Tried this spot for the first time today and omg it was a delightful surprise! The bar itself was super clean, like spotless, when we walked in. The baristas were very sweet and accommodating, and the drink menus had really cool cocktail and coffee options. Lots of people were in and out, and the staff seemed very familiar with them - it was very much like that cool neighborhood chill spot that you see on TV.However, the star of the show was the F O O D!!!! Just wow!!! We ordered the bowl with grilled shrimp, chicken quesadillas, the fries, and churros. The ingredients were clearly fresh and chef Camia was superb! Everything was delicious but my gosh that bowl!! Camia even graciously explained how she prepared the food and offered suggestions specific to our dietary constraints. She quickly cooked and presented the flavorful fare, and tbh I literally can't wait to go back. I usually don't even like cilantro but I swear Camia used it in the most becoming way. I cannot say enough good things about this spot, and I hope you give it a try too. I'm seriously freaking out because I can't remember having such an unexpected food experience like this before.

Buteco is an interesting spot. It's in the cove of Grant Park. The area sort of has one way in one way out. Then even more interesting is they have a food truck as a kitchen. But none of that stops the show that Buteco puts on.They sport Brazilian fare and tacos. Then the baristas/ bartenders make thee best coffee and thee best caipirinha you can imbibe.Typical decorations are festive. Always seems like a celebration is going on at Buteco. Live music is frequent. Outside seating is abundant and the inside seating provides a nice social scene.Overall, Buteco is my kinda spot. They have fair prices too!!!

You can sit in the bar or outside by the food truck. Both areas are pretty small. Overall the food was just ok. Also, considering the cost, I expected bigger portions.

The prices for miniature tacos not worth it. The drinks are decent. If customer service matters to you then this place should be avoided.

They changed their menu to be much worse. They had great gluten friendly and delicious options, then they sold out to become some bogus, inauthentic, unoriginal, faux Mexican restaurant. Do better.

Never had a Birria taco until today and I Loved it! Literally ate it for lunch then came back for dinner! The Feyvorita drink was just the right touch as well. Caipirinha was just okay to me. Chef couldn't talk so he wrote me a note to communicate. That's service!!!!The bar staff was knowledgeable and felt like old friends. I was here a few years ago and didn't love it too much, so I enjoy the change.

This little quaint place is such a vibe they have live music every 1st Thursday the people are so nice and that Expresso Martini is soooo good this is a all season vibe didn't eat anything but the vibes are wonderful make sure you go

Buteco offers classic Brazilian and Latin American street food with a slight modern twist. The vibes are laidback, cool, and trendy. The bartenders were nice and outgoing. The guava caipirinha was juicy and strong- as it should be, if you're familiar with good cachaça you'll understand. The food was flavorful and delicious. Buteco is a mix of Brazilian, Latin American, and Atlanta culture.

Buteco is a cute little cafe, with authentic tapas. Good food and drinks, very good lattes and cappuccinos. These good aspects of my experiences have been offset by being overcharged, and a fee for comedy/live music that we did not partake in(on separate occasions). When we asked about the upcharge (that we were not informed about beforehand) the bartender explained that because they were having a performance there, there was an "entertainment upcharge". We were just going to eat, drink and leave with no intention of joining the audience. We asked if we still had to pay for the upcharge, to which the answer was yes.On another occasion, we ordered a mocktail and a beer. The mocktail on the receipt was $13, which was the same price as an alcoholic cocktail. We inquired about the charge, and a different bartender correctly handled the charge. So even though the food and drinks are a good draw, to me it's not worth having to make sure I'm not consistently overcharged and receiving up-charges with no forewarning.It gets very very noisy in here and the tables are on top of each other. The space where the live music and comedy are held is beautiful and quaint. The comedy is very amateur though, and the music was not what we expected. It wasn't worth staying for. Please ask for a receipt when you come here.

I asked for an update on my order from the individuals within the food truck and they were VERY DISRESPECTFUL. This is after waiting 30 minutes for my order. I ended up leaving and telling them to keep my order.I will not visit this location ever again.
