"I loved this place so much, I decided to come back again the next week! This time, I decided to try their omakase. It was delicious and it was different from other omakases I have tried. They served all of the sashimi in one boat rather than course after another course. Nonetheless, it was still good and worth it for the price, especially if you like raw fish. The foie gras was my favorite, as well as the otoro. The service here is amazing, every time. Definitely give Nagomi Izakaya a try if you're in the area and have not yet tried!"
"I grabbed food from here while I was visiting Boston and it was probably one of my favorite fast casual food. I just needed something that we could just grab after a long day of walking and this place was perfect. The place is small so it's more of a pickup and eat at home place. The service was great and we were able to watch them make our food right there. I had the bulgogi bowl with a lot of fun add ons. Definitely get a bunch of stuff in your bowl."

"Great vibe for date night and hangout with friends. Basement floor has live music. Front desk host was super nice and friendly However, the drinks were bad (had several cocktails, all too sweet). The margarita was not bad"
"I door dashed. Came hot and fresh and on time. The chicken teriyaki was excellent. Not too saucy great size pieces. Ordered white rice. Small container. Ordered 2 portions of Tuna maki. It was fresh, nicely presented and very tasty. Also had miso soup large size. Very tasty. Nice cubes of tofu and seaweed. If I lived here i'd. order again."
"Don't be fooled by the staid interior and lack of in-person diners in this local Asian establishment. This restaurant, serving mostly Szechuan Chinese dishes, is a real treat in the Belmont Center district.Walking in, you're greeted by ... 2 large screens. Yes! There are not many people at the register. The screens let you choose a variety of dishes, from hot noodle soups to more traditional entrees to cold dishes. It's a bit disorienting not to have more human presence, but I guess that's just the way they run things. The dishes themselves were often top notch. The homemade pork and chive dumplings were often a bit too tough on the skins, but you could tell that they were homemade. The hot and sour beef noodle soup with glass noodle was as advertised a nice mix of hot and sour; they noodle itself was chewy, not too mushy soft, and not too tough as to render it inedible. The peanuts were crispy and really nice. The wood ear added some nice textures, and the soup itself was flavorful. I would have limited the amount of oil in the soup. The XLB (Xiao Long Bao) was really good - might be the best in the Boston area (not a town known for its XLB)! The skins were relatively thin and the soup inside really hot. Too bad there weren't ginger strips to accompanying the useful vinegary sauce. The Hand-pulled Biang biang noodle with spicy cumin lamb was quite good as well. The dish could have been presented with a bit more finesse; the lamb bits were all mixed in with the noodle, and the noodle itself was a bit thick. But the flavoring was excellent and many of the lamb pieces were rendered tenderly. The baby bok choy with tofu skin was definitely stir-fried in a lot of oil! They were really yummy, but I felt they got that nice crispy veggie effect by using a lot of oil. This environs presents something of a conundrum ... who's the market? It looks way too casual for the prices to be located in the low 10s / high 10s range (dishes were served entirely in plastic containers). But the quality of food is on par (and in some cases better) than many other Chinese restaurants in the area. But those restaurants are usually conceived of as carpeted dine-in / service places. If indeed the establishment is looking to create a casual dining experience in the Belmont area, then maybe it should remove some of the more usual shared entree type dishes on the menu (e.g. hot oil spicy fish, the famous Szechuan dish). But again, who are the expected patrons here? If they do want to have a sit-down place, make the chairs somewhat nicer (and maybe brighten up the place).Service was really quick.Looking forward to seeing this place do well!"
"After getting takeout a few times from here, we finally ate in as a family. I started off a bit skeptical at first because the restaurant has Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Usually that's a red flag for not being good at either. But turns out, they nailed both. The tom yum soup is our go-to. They have two sizes. The other Thai dishes are also tasty. The pad Thai, chicken satay, and mango sticky rice are all quite good. And their soft shell crab dish is also garlicky good. On the Vietnamese side of the house, all of their pho dishes are yummy and rich. Finally, this was the first time we dined in, and the service was as good as the food. Our server offered our family a stand for the iPhone my son was watching videos on. And the service was attentive and considerate. We will be back, likely for takeout again."
"This is a nice find on this area. A little gem, definitely worth the visit. Would love to come back at some point."
"4 stars for the food but 0 for the service. We were staying nearby and decided to get lunch here. We went to the hostess desk and a person sat us down outside of the restaurant since we had a baby carriage. We waited 20 minutes before my husband went to ask if a server can come assist us with getting our waters. We waited about another 10 minutes. The waitress that came over was nice and got us our water. We noticed many people coming in way after us already getting their drinks and food at this point. When we finally got our waters, we placed our orders in. We were hungry and so were our toddler and baby. The food came out about 15 minutes later and the waitress never came back to check how everything was. She came back once we were done and to give us our check. The food was great, surprisingly. I got the spicy pork szechuan ramen; ramen with half a tea stained egg, red onions, snow peas, spicy chicken broth, cilantro, scallions, and szechuan pork/teriyaki sauce. SO GOOD. Everyone enjoyed their food. Unfortunately the service was lacking at this location. Don't think we'll return."
"Coreanos is yummy! Definitely gotten better over the years, in my opinion. I love getting the chicken poppers with either rice or fries & the kimchi fried rice with bulgogi. Great place to come to get take out; the food is always piping hot and has great flavor."
"Giant tasty sandwich which, after 20% tip for a dine in order, still cost the same as most other options around Boston. For my first Banh Mi experience here I tried the namesake and I expect to be full for days. The bread was crisp and warm, and the pickles savory and sweet. The pork itself was sufficiently moist. I have to say there wasn't any taste of miso, but I did catch the whiff of pate. Fast and friendly service with a clean interior."
"I used to frequent this place during my grocery run to the nearby Stop&Shop every single weekend. At the time, I'd walk past it, place an order, and pick it up on my way home from the grocery store. I'd always order the lunch combo 3 maki rolls with soup and salad, and it was something around $15 for some pretty tasty sushi. In recent years, I believe ownership has changed and the prices have increased, but the quality of the sushi has gone up a good deal to compensate. The 3 maki roll lunch combo is now $18.95 with miso soup, but the cost is well worth it. And while I don't go here as frequently as I used to, I still make it a point to have at least every month or so. On the outside, Rainbow Sushi looks like an average normal sushi shop. There are a few tables inside and I never see the place too busy. However, I'd say that this is one of the best sushi options in Brookline and even all of Boston. It may not look like much, but the quality of the fish is really good and fresh. I've never had a bad piece of sushi from this place, and everything tastes incredibly flavorful and high quality. On this particular instance, I ordered 4 rolls:Spicy tuna roll: This roll (and all of the spicy rolls) is a bit different from other places - in a very good way. Instead of heavily minced tuna with tempura flakes, Rainbow Sushi uses chunks of red plump tuna with their tempura mix. The result is a nice flavorful, fresh, and tasty roll with really great texture. It isn't a paste like a lot of the other places - instead, you can actually feel and taste the individual gems of fish, and it's my favorite place for the spicy tuna.Salmon avocado roll: The salmon avocado roll is a basic salmon avocado roll, but the salmon is very fresh as well. The rice is also the perfect texture, and the ratio of filling to rice is perfect. No complaints on this one!Spicy salmon roll: Just like the spicy tuna, the spicy salmon roll has large chunks of diced salmon mixed in with their spicy mayo and tempura flakes. It really makes a huge difference in taste and texture, and I love it!Spicy yellowtail roll: I'd say the same thing here as the spicy tuna and spicy salmon, but even more so. The yellowtail chunks in this roll are large and plump. Taking a bite out of one of these is just an incredible feeling, and the flavor really explodes. I'd HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area, and I'd even suggest taking a trip out to Brookline specifically to try this restaurant. This is a mid-priced option with an extremely high quality of sushi. I've reviewed a good number of other sushi restaurants before, and Rainbow Sushi is really outstanding. I love that the quality matches that of the upper-priced restaurants in the area, but the price point and the atmosphere is much more affordable and approachable. We're truly lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood - 5/5!"
"We came here late Sunday night and everything was delicious. We sat outside but could still hear the jazz. The pad see ew was great with the crispy roast duck with the different textures and flavors. The soup was soooo good. I would buy that broth. The drinks were so cute and also delicious."

I mean this as a compliment, but the food here reminds me of a VERY elevated mall food experience. I've had the spicy Korean BBQ pork bowl boxed lunch from here about 2-3 times now and I have still not gotten tired of it. The bbq pork is amazing! It's tender and it's cut into the most perfect bite sized pieces with the perfect grill to it. The gochujang sauce is a key player in this bowl, as it marinates not only the meat but also gives the noodles a bit more flavor. I also really like the fresh and crunchy contrast that the other toppings provide. I think for the price you pay, it's also a good portion size. Typically, leftover food from takeout doesn't do great when heating it up the next day but this is far from the truth when it comes to Lotus test kitchen. I heated it up on a pan and all the flavors were enhanced, with the noodles and chicken getting a glazy texture and flavor to it. I want to try other bowls, but I also love the BBQ bowl too much to take a chance

Great bar with some fun cocktails! It's always slightly busy but the service is fast. You'll get prompt seating either upstairs or downstairs - both have slightly different vibes but are great. Downstairs has live music meanwhile the upstairs area resembles more of your generic bar. I highly recommend trying the different cocktails here. They all come with a fun poem and description to keep it fun. The food is pretty good too - we just got fries but everyone else's plates looked great. I'd definitely come back to try the food as well as a few more of the cocktails!

We ordered a rainbow roll, drunken noodles and beef curry soup. The beef curry soup had great flavor and nice tender beef. The noodles were a great addition. The rainbow roll was nothing to write home about, but nonetheless good. The drunken noodles unfortunately were wayyy too saucy. I should have ordered some rice to eat it with after but that's ok. The flavor was good, albeit incredibly sweet , but no spice AT ALL and the menu said spicy. The broccoli was cooked nicely. Again the chicken was nice and tender. The place inside is very small but in the hour we were there there was a ton of to go orders.

Authentic delicious Chinese food! The pork stew rougamo and cumin lamb were my favorite dishes. I have searched long and hard for cumin lamb in the Boston area, and this is the first place I've found! Their prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. All of the dishes had great flavors and good size portions.

The parking is limited but it is there. It handles maybe 5 or 6 cars. Rather hard to maneuver my car especially with lots of traffic on the street.I started off with spring rolls that had rice wraps encasing lettuce, carrots, a strip of zuchinni and some Chinese cabbage. I thought the spring rolls were overpriced at 8.00I had pho Ga that had plenty of shredded chicken, noodles and bean sprouts on the side. I would have preferred a few more bean sprout. Great for weight-watchers. I swear I loose weight when I eat Vietnamese food. The place filled up while I was there with Vietnamese people which was a good sign. If they let me it, it has to be good. The waitress came right over to me as soon as I was seated. She took my order wand I was served promptly. I did have to ask for my bill.Overall I found this place to be average. Take it or leave it.

Came here with my partner and a couple of friends for a Saturday dinner. I was a little surprised the place was almost empty, although it was rainy and miserable out. It's located right around the corner from the Chelsea bridge in not a great spot that's walkable, plus there's very few places to park. I recommend Uber.It has a comfortable, classy atmosphere. We all thought the food was good, nothing spectacular. I ordered a tofu dish that had a good amount of flavor. Their wine selection was excellent and ended up getting a couple of bottles of some Italian reds. Dessert was our favorite part of the evening. I would go back maybe not right away.

After attending the Boston Marathon race expo, my friends and I came here for lunch. It wasn't my choice since I'm just not a fan of Asian-fusion restaurants. I ordered the grilled duck ramen. It was actually not bad, but if it were up to me, I'd rather get a bowl of ramen from a Chinese or Japanese restaurant. Perhaps, one day, I'll find something on their menu that I would look forward to eating. Regardless, I had a good time having lunch with my friends and the service was good.

"just look at the photos. do you see how beautifull crafted every dessert is? Double Chin is Doubly delightful.matcha creme brulee was a huge hit. our drinks were equally delicious"
"I went here in December 2022 and loved my experience here. I was able to find seating at the bar on a busy Friday night. I ordered 2 drinks - a bright blue cocktail and a hot pink one after. Both were delicious. The service was a bit slow because of how busy the restaurant was, but the bartender totally made it up to us by giving us free shooters! The shot was blue and sparkly and also amazing. Overall I really liked it here. I'm not sure if the bar is still open or if it's just an event space now, but I would go back to this bar."
"We got takeout from there and the food was bomb. The Toki Tochos and the wings were so amazing and literally everything we got from there was so good. Highly recommend."
"Good takeout place, star off for no sweet sauce. Parking out front, dumplings were tasty."
"For a late dinner I decided to get some ramen at Menya Jiro. Arriving on Saturday at 9pm, the venue was almost empty, so I received seating immediately and made my order of chicken karaage ($8.5) and Sakurajima ramen ($15), both of which arrived within 10 minutes. The chicken karaage arrived with a spicy aioli - unorthodox for Japanese, but well-paired nonetheless. The karaage itself seemed to have a crisper breading layer than usual. I suspect it had been double-fried, which most places skip. This allows for a greater texture contrast. When the stiffer initial resistance finally gives way, it immediately brings you to the juicy chicken. The Sakurajima ramen arrived as a slightly spicy bowl with 2 pieces of chashu and garnish. The chashu and garnish seemed decent. Notably, the ramen noodles possessed a firm, al-dente texture. You could also taste and feel the alkaline hydration that went into the making of the noodles. Either they were made in house or sourced from a high-quality supplier. Otherwise, the broth itself had a light mouth feel (think shio ramen broth), but its flavor lay between shio and tonkotsu. While my initial description may not warrant 5* instead of 4*, I left impressed by some technical details, namely the double-fried karaage and the noodles."
"My partner and I got AYCE hot pot dinner -TASTE: 5/5 - everything was solid. Enjoyed our pick 2 broth: herbal and sichuan mala; the latter had the perfect level of spicy. Our favorite meat was fatty beef, and favorite meatball was beef balls. Enjoyed the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and eel avocado maki tooTEXTURE: 4/5 - the vegetables were crisp. Highlights included the watercress, daikon, king oyster mushroom, wood fungus, and fried tofuPRICE: 5/5 - great value honestly. Our Friday dinner was $36pp, and didn't think we needed the Premium options vs. Regular. Would come back to bring family and friends SERVING SIZE: 5/5 - it's AYCE, so we got a couple rounds of food. Left absolutely stuffed SERVICE: 4/5 - we walked in at 4:45pm for an early dinner, and the space was virtually empty. Our waiter was nice and checked on us often. By the time we left, many tables and the bar were filledATMOSPHERE: 5/5 - unassuming building w more space inside than I thought, plus fun touches like claw machines in the lobby, Marvel figures throughout, and a hot pot dipping station to make your own sauces. Table sizes for hot pot can vary: 1 hot pot for a table of 4-6 people, and 2 hot pots for a table of 8PARKING: 5/5 - ample parking in Top Pot's dedicated lot"
"we would come back to Wusong Road. The food was good, some dishes were great, the portions were generous minus one star for service.Wehad the fried rice which was tasty and a generous portion, the super cute bao which are actually more filling than they look and Bang bang shrimp lettuce wraps! drinks came in a cute bird mug!"
"Consistently good! That's how I would describe Super Fusion. It's a no frills joint. You think of takeout sushi, and this place comes to mind. Fifteen minutes and your order is ready. We've ordered multiple times now. I don't believe they have an online ordering system, but it's super easy to call and place your order, takes a minute at the most. We've had the spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, and a couple other rolls - they've all been tasty. A special mention of their vegetarian roll, the Hawaii one, which has mango, banana, avocado, cucumber, and cream cheese. Don't knock it till you've tried it! And thanks to the many many Yelp reviews recommending the Beni Toro Banana, we ordered it and enjoyed it. I never thought salmon and banana fried in a ball, drizzled with sauce could be so good - and especially that sauce, yum.The next time you want a quiet night in, watching a movie, and you wonder "sushi night?", Super Fusion is your place!"
"There's a reason the line is always so long at Bon Me...the lunchtime crowd knows a good deal, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better one in this area. For around $10 you can get a bowl (build your own or choose from a list of preset options) that is chock full of delicious, fresh ingredients. And the spice is right, flavorful without turning your mouth numb. The Kendall Square location is tiny, with only a few tables and stools available. It's definitely a nod to the food truck roots that this location is better suited for taking orders to go. If you're looking for a good lunch option in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong with Bon Me."
"Decided to check this place out on Newbury street for dinner! We were surprisingly pleased, would come back here again for sure. The service was great, the lady that was our server was extremely kind and friendly!Fried hot dog: this sounded interesting so we ordered this dish. Nothing crazy special but it did taste good! They're basically fried sausages with chili dip sauce. Chicken basil fried rice: probably wouldn't get again. The rice was a little mushy and the flavor was nothing special or amazing. Crispy Pork Basil: AMAZING!!! tasted sooo good. We really enjoyed this dish a lot. Would definitely get again, crispy and flavorful dish. You can adjust spiciness as you like!"
"I ordered the vegetable stew and it was phenomenal. I could not believe the mix of flavors I was experiencing, but do yourself a flavour (sorry I had to do it) and get this dish. Parking can be found on the street (may need to walk a little) or there is a lot in the back. You'll order through an iPad and it does not take long at all to receive your order. You can also order ahead and pick your order up."
"Six of us enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch here! We had reservations for 11:30 which is when they open. Took a Lyft so we didn't have to worry about parking. They said everything was intended to share and would come out as prepared in random order, so it was always a surprise what was coming next. For 5 of us we shared 13 items, and didn't waste a bite of anything. No doggy bags for us. We were all very full though. The 6th person is a Vegan who was very happy with his 3 items that he ordered. Loved my Yuzu Lemon Drop too.Favorites were the Lemon Shrimp dumplings, the Clams w/Fermented Beans, the roasted root veggies in red miso (carrots & sweet potato), the brussels and the Fried Egg Bahn Mi (even if it was hard to share). Least favorite was probably the wings. A couple folks thought they were too salty. My wing wasn't. I liked it but didn't think the sauce went with it. Everything was loaded with flavor. Dipping sauces all exceptional. All of us loved our experience!"
"A good place for sushi and other Asian cuisine. Basho is located pretty close to Fenway. It makes a good stop before or after a game. Has quite a lot of variety and makes it easier for everyone to find something they like. The prices are kind of high but they're not worse than most of these neighborhood places. I think it's a nice place for a quiet evening if the music isn't loud. Sometimes it's played really loud and you can't hear a thing. There's other times it's quieter and you can actually talk amongst yourselves. Has a bar which is good for smaller groups. Sushi is the main thing. Lots of specialty rolls to choose from. There's typical ones and more exotic ones. I like the Sweet Potato Roll the best. It's $7.50 for a good sized one. This is made with a sweet soy based sauce. Good place for Asian cuisine. If there's only a few in a group the bar is a good place to sit. The tools include many vegetarian choices with the sweet potatoes being the best of these."
"Helpful tip: The perfect place to get lunch and then study next door at cafe Nero! Review: my friends from Boston College recommended this place. So you know if the college kids love it then it's definitely a go to place for food. It's a nice small casual food place. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and wow... I was not expecting this to be this good. It looked so good that I forgot to take a photo of the sandwich when it first came out. The chicken wasn't dry which was amazing! I'm definitely coming back again to try the many other great food on the menu."
"Oh. My. Land. This place is absolutely wonderful. We had a wonderful visit to this amazing little place in Boston's Chinatown. The wait service was attentive and helpful. The beer was cold and frosty. The food - oh, the food. Everything was wonderfully delicious. We loved the rib-eye bao, it was everything they said it would be. It was tender and flavorful, fluffy and just spicy enough. The dumplings were even better. We loved the Wagyu beef dumpling, absolutely loved it! And the edamame dumpling was just as good, that corn soup was outstanding. We also had the duck-fat fries and they were just that. Duck fat fries, and I'd probably go for another order of the dumplings or bao buns before adding the fries next time. Loved this place!!"
"*** 3.5 stars ***Not a lot of pho options in the area, and this hit the spot. No, it wasn't the best or most authentic but it the pho ga was good enough to fulfill a craving and there is free parking in the lot next door!"
"+ Ali's Pho - Chicken pho with noodles, chinese salt and pepper, cabbage, bean sprouts, red onion, cilantro, scallions, crispy shallots, and a slice of lime. Tasty and decent portions.+ Quick service.+ Self order on a tablet option.- Lukewarm broth.- No tray provided when order served.- Limited dine-in seats."
"Everyone in the area knows Fuji as absolute sushi legends. Everyone's got a go to order. Below is ours! Lychee martinis or sake! General gaos chicken with a side of white rice. Maki Moro super combo sushi rolls. Super underrated-- pork belly + scallions!! GET IT. We have excellent service at all times for take out, at the bar or for dinner. We love it here and you will to."
"Dropped in the sushi side on a Sunday night and ate by myself while waited on by the staff. Everything was super fresh and tasty, I'm boggled how the Yard House next door was packed while this place had no customers, but I'm not complaining. Would recommend if you're looking for some sushi in Lynnfield."
"I love the other Shojo location so definitely had to try this one when I heard it was opening. I visited here with a few friends. Would definitely get a reservation - the place was poppin when we went on a Saturday evening. Large space inside with fun funky decor. Dark lighting for some ~ vibes ~. The wait staff were all so friendly. Food and drinks were just as great as their other location. Pork bao buns - so yum! The fried rice is always a great go-to as well. I felt like there were a few cocktails that were not there at the menu on the other restaurant. I have 2 vegan friends and they love eating at the Shojo locations because there are lots of vegan friendly items and are well labeled. DEFINITELY will go again!"
"Visited Empire last night to celebrate two of my friends' birthdays and the food is extremely mid. Don't get me wrong, none of the food we ordered was terrible but the food was nothing spectacular either. We ordered a couple apps to start, including the "spicy" avocado salad, salt and pepper wings, and fried calamari. The apps I would all rate 5/10. We also ordered a bunch of rolls which honestly were not bad, just nothing special. For the price of each roll, I would say they are not worth it at all and you could get the same rolls (& probably better quality & ingredients) for half the price from your local neighborhood sushi joint. 5/10 for their sushi rolls.I honestly was content with only having a bite of each dish we ordered because I did not want to waste space in my stomach. The only thing I would probably come back for is the lychee martini. Please do not make the mistake of ordering the pad thai. The pad thai they served was absolutely terrible. The noodles were soggy, bland, and too wet. We ended the dinner with two desserts, one triple chocolate cake and the coconut mango baked alaska. The coconut mango baked alaska tasted like passion fruit with no hints of mango or coconut, so it was super disappointing. The triple chocolate cake was mostly just fudge and no actual cake. Overall, Empire is a nice looking restaurant. I know that it does turn into a night club at night except on Sundays... but come on. The food should be a high priority and unfortunately is not great & is overpriced. Would not come back again."
"KIIN is a small Thai takeout spot in Stoneham. They have high top seating at the front window, but it really is just for takeout.I ordered online and my order was completed before the estimated time. I got the pad Thai and Tom yum pad Thai. The Tom yum pad Thai really had the Tom yum flavors that I enjoyed. Both dishes had a good amount of protein too. I had a few bites of the pad Thai and it was good too. A solid Thai takeout spot in Stoneham! There's street parking but there is a nearby parking lot off Franklin St. The worker was fast, and friendly!"
"I've been to this boba spot twice during my visits. I've gotten lucky and gotten myself some tasty drinks. The Vietnamese coffee is hella strong and sweet, would have liked it less strong. My husband's lychee green tea was super duper sweet, I don't think he adjusted the sweetness. I LOVED the jasmine green milk tea, I swapped out for oat milk, boba was perfect. You can skip the dragonfruit smoothie, my sister said it was way too sweet, too much condensed milk and coconut. Also very expensive boba drinks IMO, like $7-8 before tax and tip... wow! Super nice interior, could totally be a cute hangout spot."
