"Honestly, I'd give this place three stars for mediocre food and cocktails, but since it's near my apartment, ain't crowded, and generally clean, I'd give it an additional star. Blarney Stone is few feet away from the Fields Corner station. Location is safe, and many times I have walked to and from late at night.I've had their loaded french fries, Blarney burger, and loaded nachos. All tasted okay, but they taste better after few drinks in. And their cocktails... Not worth it, especially for the price I paid for. Each mixture didn't run smoothly on my tongue, so I just opt in for conventional drinks like vodka and cranberry because you can't screw those up.I came here a lot, and each dining experience was lacking (e.g. unsatisfying food and drinks), but the time alone at the bar after a long day at work was satisfying and very much needed. Bartenders were friendly and socially aware. They can tell which customers are down to talk but also recognize which ones want to be left alone. One other complaint I have is they don't do a great job at letting others know when they're closed for private events. One time, I called to make sure that they're opened, but they weren't answering. I just assumed that they were busy, so I headed over there and turned out that they're closed for a private event. I wish they had posted this on social media or even mention it in their voicemail so that people don't waste their time getting there only to be turned away."
"My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience here! We live in the area and wanted to try something nearby. We stumbled upon this place on Yelp and were able to walk over. It's a really cute local spot. We made reservations online but they don't seem to use their online reservation system because when we arrived and were expecting a patio seat, they were all full so we had to be seated inside. That was a little annoying but the inside was nice and lively. Really fun atmosphere with the music and decor. As for food I tried the La Piña burger and really enjoyed it. The pineapple was a nice touch. The fries were just okay but I appreciated it came with a good amount. We also ordered drinks which were really delicious!! Overall we had a fun experience here and would definitely come back."

"Finally made it to Park54. I've tried to visit during the weekend nights and it was packed, more like a lounge. There's a main dining area and bar seating. They also have a private patio space and upstairs area for events. I went to the $35 AYCE brunch. Had all the breakfast staples. The shrimp and grits were delicious! Also had 2 drinks, but great and well made. Will definitely visit again, probably earlier for dinner."
"We had an outdoor table, and the ambience was fabulous on an August night. It was overpriced for what we ordered but I really wanted to dine in the water so it was ok this time. My Greek salad was different than what I was used to but decent. I think it was the dressing. My husband had a nice fish sanwich. I ordered a mocktail and it was disappointing. A raspberry lime Ricky tasted like sprite with raspberry syrup. Too sweet and no lime flavor for $10. The foccasia bread and spread app was delicious Service was excellent. Going one time for a special occasion was enough."
"The dollar oysters are an incredible deal. Most places with dollar oysters feel like you're getting the left over, tiny oysters that aren't so fresh and about to expire. This place has huge oysters. So sweet and not salty. I will be returning for this deal every week. The short rib egg rolls were also awesome. Not greasy and so flavorful. I was really impressed. I will certainly try more things here but the oysters have won me over. This hands down might be the best spot for happy hour. The only problem is how close to my gym it is. Haha."
"Stopped by here twice while we were staying in the Liberty Hotel for dinner and breakfast. I love the theme through the restaurant and entire hotel. The fact they incorporated the jail theme was amazing. Starting with breakfast the food was good. Nothing was stand out, but everything was rather tasty. I did appreciate that the requests for items on the side were made. I know sometimes that can be annoying. Only downside was with other patrons. There was a group next to us that were so loud with a lot of children playing and throwing toys. It definitely tainted the experience however I know that doesn't have anything to do with the restaurant. Now we dinner it was amazing. The food did take a while to come out, but I think it was worth the wait. The starter bread hit the spot! Absolutely delicious along with the oysters. The meals are rather large, I think you could almost share. We had a table of four and if we could go back I would share three meals because we had a lot left over. Our waiter I believe his name was Ben was great. On top of our food orders and constantly refilling out drink. I would recommend if you are in the area or staying at the hotel. Can probably skip breakfast though. Overall 4/5 stars!"
"To sum up our experience, it was good! Here's a breakdown and then more details to follow:Service: 4/5 Presentation of food/drinks: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Taste of drinks: 5/5Taste of food 2/5Service: it was great! Mostly. Our server was attentive for the first 15 min then all of a sudden vanished (for example, I saw my drink sitting at the bar for awhile)Everything else is self-explanatory, so I'll go to the taste: the food looked great! However, it didn't have much flavor! To pay $25+ for a dish and want salt or more flavors is a little disappointing. For example, we ordered the Spanish Octopus for an app. Sounds great, looks amazing...tasted like...I don't even know! So weird. Same with myLobster roll: looked sooo good, the lobster was meaty, but....didn't taste like much at all! Oh well. Great views on the harbor and there's lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommend! But not worth 5 stars for a $180 bill - sorrrrrry"
"The service was attentive and super friendly. I had a nice chat with some frequent locals at the bar, too. This spot offers up a local pub vibe, which is welcoming. Although my drink was way pricier than I thought it would be ($18 clams for a Manhattan?!l), I will come back again. The food is pub food, so don't expect any fancy pants dishes. I recommend popping in for a beer and quick eats on a night after work to avoid rush hour insanity. They have tables out front for those who want to 'be seen' and a patio area in the back, too!"
"Their menu is eclectic, lots of various options (seafood, burgers, chicken, buffalo nachos). Great covered outdoor seating available. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which was delicious, not too spicy. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich, which I felt was a little pricey at $20, but was quite tasty. I ordered the swordfish picata special, which was a decent size portion, but too lemony (that was the only flavor I could taste, and a lot of it); that may be personal preference, i just like a milder lemon/butter flavor vs. sucking on a lemon directly. We didn't have room for desert, but they had several options that sounded very good. Service was good. Luckily we got there just before the dinner rush, as they started filling up halfway through our meal."
"My party of four came here for dinner and drinks tonight before a show at the Wilbur. All I can say is YUM. My husband had the double burger and I had the hot Nashville chicken. The chicken was hands down one of the best meals I've had in quite some time. It was tender and fall off the bone. It came with mac and cheese and this delicious street corn. I was beyond impressed. The ambiance has a chill and relaxed vibe. It very much reminds me of my favorite pub in Ireland. Brian and our waitress were FANTASTIC. I will keep this place on my MUST VISIT the next time I see a show. I recommend if you are going to eat here before a show that you call for a reservation. They fill up fast and I can't definitely see why!"
"Made reservations on a Sunday night for one. The service was perfect and had the right amount of balance. The waitress helped me decide between the salmon and the steak. The steak was great! A bit on the salty side but i like salt so it was fine with me. I ordered it medium.I was stuck between two wines and the waitress gave me a sample to help decide as well. The ambiance is great here as its small but busy with a nice dim lighting."
"Tacos & More reopened this week on Waverly Street, just west of the Natick TL. This cozy and casual Mexican restaurant and bar has a festive atmosphere with colorful and decorative tables and chairs and upbeat Mexican music blares over the speakers.I stopped by Tacos & More recently and dined in. The server/bartender brought out a complementary basket of warm crunchy chips and medium salsa and an ice water. I ordered the Shredded Chicken Blanco Chimichanga ($12.99 plus tax), which was served to me very hot in under 10 minutes. The portion of food was good which had a deep fried tortilla filled with soft shredded chicken topped with a white queso with a soupy refried beans, soft Mexican rice, lettuce and tomato (no sour cream?). The food tasted pretty good and it was very filling to eat. The check was $13.90 with tax and before tip. Overall, this is a good low key traditional Mexican restaurant (not packed) located close to another cozy Mexican restaurant and away from the busy Route 9 shopping and chain restaurant traffic."

I grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts and remember when this restaurant opened. Now that I live in the DC area, I always check it out when I'm in the area visiting family. Since I'm the brunch queen, it was good to see that they have brunch !!!!! Boston has brunch !!! Wow !!!!! Felicia was our beautiful server. It was pretty busy at the bar and on the patio as there was a group of guys after a game. Despite that, there were tables to get away and talk. I do like that it's a diverse crowd in the spot. She suggested I get the Orchid Mule and I had two. They were delicious . I ordered the big brunch which included French toast, ham, sausage , ham, eggs, and toasts . Very filling !!!!! My friend had the Cobb salad. I also had the espresso mule and that was also very tasty. I'll definitely be back when I'm home again !

Had a nice lunch here coupe of weeks back. The ambiance is more chill and casual. the music was a bit too loud for us, specially considering it was the middle of the afternoon and there was just 1 more table occupied. The service was friendly and quick. There aren't a lot of vegetarian options, so keep that in mind. The street corn was delicious. I had the beans and rice as my main dish, the beans were tasty.Husband had the burger, it was just your average burger, nothing to write home about. The fries were nice and crispy. The sweet plantains were very good.Overall a good meal.

My mom and I stayed in Rockport for a long weekend. We ate here after an 8+ hour drive from Maryland. Ended up sitting upstairs with the whole upper dining area to ourselves. It was magical with the fairy lights. Barbara took great care of us, as did the waiter. They both made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and filling and the drinks were expertly made. I had the lobster tacos and a My Place Blue Sky cocktail and we shared a coconut cake for dessert. Just lovely!

We were attending a concert at the Roadrunner, and Rail Stop is incredibly convenient across the street. We knew we were in for a long night, and Rail Stop prepped us with delicious, filling meals. The steak tips are a generous portion of tender meat with a delicious bourbon sauce. They are accompanied by a large amount of green beans and fluffy, whipped cheesy mashed potatoes. My son really enjoyed the burger, with their house tomato jam and bread and butter pickles. The interior is clean and attractive, and the seating is comfortable for slow paced, relaxing conversation. In the bar, music was playing from the artist performing across the street, which helped set a nice vibe for the night.

My first time in Boston and finding restaurants that would give us a unique feel of Boston, this didn't disappoint! By far, one of the best dining experiences I had for a long time. The food was amazing, especially the strawberry individual cheese plate, our pasta bolognese was delicious and our cocktails were perfect! The place wasn't busy, since it was a Thursday and early. The only suggestion I highly recommend is to play background music. It was so quiet and most of the guests were couples, it would have made the place even better. I would come back and hopefully be able to go into the Alibi Bar, which was closed for a private event.

I went to the Reelhouse located on 6 New St in East Boston. This is my second time coming here and it did not disappoint! Last time I was here I came for dinner but this Sunday I tried their brunch menu. For their main brunch items we had their mini pop tarts. These were handmade and came in pumpkin and nutella chocolate flavors. These were cute but I wish they had more filling in them. If you come here with kids or you yourself have a sweet tooth these would be an ideal choice 5/10. The brioche french toast also satisfies all those who may have a sweet tooth. This was a thick piece of toast with berry compote, whipped cream and of course maple syrup 8/10.The star dish of the brunch was the salmon cake benedict This dish had the most perfect poached eggs and came with home fries. The salmon was also cooked perfectly a true 10/10 in our eyes. The non-traditional brunch items we got were the steak frites which had sirloin steak tips, sauteed spinach and parmesan fries 7/10. I wish the steak wasn't so tough to eat but otherwise the flavor was there and you really can't go wrong with parmesan fries. We also got the israeli style hummus which had mediterranean olives, crumbled feta and crispy chickpeas. The hummus also came with these cumin za'atar pita chips. A great pairing and a very shareable dish. I recommend getting this for the table when you come here 8/10. Lastly, the crab fried rice was another great shareable dish. It had generous portion of crab and diced vegetables in it 8/10.The cost of everything was very reasonable and I would be back again for a third time! I love their ever changing menu! Food: 8/10Affordability: 8/10Ambiance: 8/10

Came for an after work bite and sat at the bar . The place was relatively empty, but it still took the waiter about five minutes to acknowledge my presence. Once he greeted me, his overall demeanor seem to change and he was pretty friendly. The fries were great, and the clam chowder had a pretty decent amount of clams in it, but the top of it was lukewarm, and the inside was piping hot as if it was microwaved . The cauliflower arrived to me room temperature. Espresso martini was amazing and I have no complaints about that. the overall atmosphere of this place as a sports bar all the TVs had different sports games playing. Honestly, this area has a lot of restaurants so I don't anticipate coming back here.

"Twice in one day, liked it that much! The brunch options were great, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We came in at 10 am for brunch and again at 7 pm for some drinks and a bite as we were staying next door. The portion sizes are very generous, and prices range anywhere from $7-$29+ so you really don't feel skimped, it's definitely value for money. The ambiance was spot on. Not only was the decor unique, the music, lighting, color, and character of the restaurant all come together so perfectly. The coolest piece is the bar - over 12,000 shiny pennies make up the bar top. The restaurant still shows its historic tavern character but has been brought into the new age with its design and modern layout. Zander is the best, they made sure to look after us and kept the drinks coming! Will definitely come back when visiting , a solid 5 stars!"
"Settler is my favorite restaurant in Salem. I celebrated my birthday with them earlier this year and then recently returned. Everything was fantastic both times. Settler is tiny, so reservations are a must. When I reserved, I could not reserve online for one person, but hope that has been updated. Service is great--I think I had the same server during both visits. Settler has a warm, welcoming vibe. The cocktails are interesting and delicious, which I appreciate. So far, the Jalisco Peace Treaty has been my favorite one. I love that you are started with a palette cleanser. Their bread is amazingly addictive. We loved the cured flounder and I regret not getting a second order of that dish. On my first visit, my main was the casarecce with pork, cabbage, and fontina, which was perfect and it was hard not to order the updated version on my return visit. But I knew I wanted the ricotta capelletti, which was delicate and fitting for summer. Both visits ended with cookies, which was the perfect ending for two perfect meals.Settler is a must visit when in Salem or on the North Shore."
"If you're staying at the Omni or across the road at the convention center, get here early for lunch. Food:My husband tried the fish stew (which he gave the thumbs up to) and I had the mezze platter. I was impressed with the combination of flavors and the presentation of both dishes. Not cheap, but totally worth it.Service:Vincent was lovely. He had everything down to an art and had no problem looking after the rush of people that kept coming in waves from the convention center.Ambiance:Classy, calm, and collected - even with the surge of people arriving to try and be seated. Kestra's dining area isn't very large in size, but it's cozy and intimate, even with it being so close to the front lobby of the hotel. We had no choice but to sit at the bar as all the tables were full, but I'm glad we did as Vincent took good care of us. A solid 5/5, would definitely come back."
"Convenient restaurant located in the Ritz Carlton. Our waitress, Sandra was amazing. She remembered our kids name and really made us feel welcomed. Breakfast Menu:Kids chocolate chip pancakes - perfect size of pancakes although my kids never finished the whole thing. Vermont yogurt - deliciousCrispy bacon - deliciousBagel & cream cheese - a bit expensive but son loved itCereal - son was happy that Sandra ordered fruit loops for him!Dinner menu:Lobster roll - delicious and the french fries with truffle oil was amazing (my son switched fries with me)Kids chicken tenders & fries - the kids loved it so that was greatService - the lady serving us was really niceThe restaurant is convenient and when my kids are too lazy to walk to get dinner, this was our go to place. As a bonus, the staff was amazing. We can't wait to come back."
"Oh my. I'm at a loss for words. I went last night with 3 friends, all of whom had been before and I see why. It's a cozy little place in a strip mall on Route 9 with plenty of parking. The web site said no parties over 4 but there was a table set up for 7 so maybe there are exceptions. It *is* a smallish place, a few tables and a bar in the front, some tables further back. But charming, with a cozy friendly ambience. Chef Dave came through as we were getting settled and gave a friendly greeting as he came by. The wait staff was helpful, pleasant and efficient. The bartender is a magician if the French Kiss I enjoyed is any indication. My dining partners had sauvignon blanc which they enjoyed (okay, I had a glass too after I finished my French Kiss). We had many many questions about the menu and the specials and our waiter--wish I had gotten her name--answered patiently and came back multiple times before we were ready to order. We shared a Burrata salad which was delish. I had the Prime Filet with mashed potatoes and haricot vert with a demi glacé. Cooked to perfection! My mouth is watering just remembering. My companions had the pan seared halibut, another similar seafood dish I don't recall--salmon maybe?--and the lemon roasted half chicken. Raves all around. Okay I won't lie, the steaks and a couple of the seafood dishes were expensive so I'll have to pace myself regarding a return, much as I'd love to eat here regularly. But I truly can't wait to return. I envy those whose proximity and budget allow them to be the regulars warmly greeted as we sat there enjoying our meal. Kudos to Chef Dave and the staff!"
"Been a long while since I had the pleasure of coming back here to dine on their amazing little roof top. Service was very friendly all around, the food was as good as I remember, and the vibe is just cozy and nice."
"Really cool bar above the restaurant A&H, though I'd come back on a less busy day of the week. We went on a Thursday evening and the place was absolutely slammed. (Also, if you're a total newbie like me, don't go around the corner outside below the Longfellow sign, you'll just see a staircase leading down to the basement. You need to go inside the restaurant above the sign Brattle Hall and the bar is upstairs. I popped in and asked the hostess where Longfellow was and she very coolly told me I was already here. Whoops.)We put in 3/4 of our drink orders well before this massive group swept through and went out onto the rooftop deck, but didn't get most of our drinks until maybe half an hour to 45 minutes later. I didn't mind since we were all catching up, but it did feel like we were forgotten about, when our waitress started bartending too (or mixing ... I forget whether bartenders at cocktail bars prefer to be called mixologists instead). One of our party ordered a drink a few minutes after the rest of the group did and she just never got her drink. Seems maybe they go drink by drink rather than table by table? Given how long we waited by then, she just cancelled her drink and we all opted to not order a second round, which is a shame, since the ingredients and combos all sounded pretty inventive. Mine was good, a tad on the sweet side. The setting is beautiful - the seats at the horseshoe bar would be great for a date or relaxing dinner. We didn't order any of the food. All in all, check it out if you don't have anywhere else to be/aren't falling asleep by 9pm (I'm guilty of the second one, for sure)."
"I loved the Piri Piri chicken. Big, beautifully roasted, and drenched in a creamier piri piri than expected. Accompanied by gorgeous shoestring fries, and a refreshing sugar snap pea and mint salad. Our server was excellent, showing incredible temperament on Mother's Day (don't judge) even with a few kids running from their seats to their cousins'. The staff here is exquisite in their patience, attentiveness, and professionalism. The chicken drippings were served cold. I thought it was a bold approach, but the server assured me it was a mistake. The same bowl was returned microwaved (?) and it tasted like nothing. Watery nothing. Perhaps it was an early brunch, not enough fat to substantiate a gravy but if that's the case, don't serve it. This was just bad, cloudy water. Props to serving Iggy's bread, though - long live the king."
"Solid brunch with a lively scene. Kid friendly and dog friendly as an added bonus. Getting there early on a Saturday is key. At 10 am we were seated immediately. 30 min later a small line started forming. Food did take a bit to come out because they had a lot of delivery and takeout orders coming in. It was surprisingly friendly - we were offered crayons and bendy sticks to play with along with a kids water without even needing to ask. Standard lunch kid food options for brunch. There is a nice outdoor seating area with a few tables where a few folks had brought their dog. The strawberry pancakes were addicting. I could have eaten 3 plates of them. Highly recommend. The heuvos rancheros was ok. Warning the salsa is very spicy."
"Five Horses has pub-style dining in Davis Square. The interior has a lively vibe with a buzzing bar area and a close-table dining room. We sat outside at the streetery, which had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Good food, good drinks, good service. Prices are fair; there was an extra random charge for around $4 for something, maybe a leftover fee from covid dining days, who knows, but frankly it wasn't enough to make a deal over. I would go again on a nice day, inside is probably fun to watch local sports."
"Updating my review yet again because I can't say enough good things about this place. Brandon, the bartender, is what makes this place so good. He makes the best cocktails and is such a pleasure to talk to. He can make any drink and always remembers what we typically order."
"I was in town for a conference in the Seaport and wanted to find an outstanding restaurant for my first meal. After reviewing several sites, plus Yelp, I selected Chickadee. What caught my attention was several of the principals had worked at Barbara Lynch's No 9 Park and Chickadee's amazing 4.5 score on Yelp. It's self-described as a New England-born and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. There were plenty of reservations available mid-afternoon Tuesday on Resy, which I found surprising for a great restaurant. I selected a 6pm reservation.Having read an extensive review of Chickadee in Boston Magazine, I was ready to order quickly. I started with two signatures: the Smoked Sea Trout Dip and the Crispy Hen of the Woods. The Trout is buried under a layer of light hollandaise-like sauce. The Hen of the Woods mushrooms look like a crazy Bloomin' Onion atop a thick puree of potatoes, walnuts and garlic. Both were excellent and so unique.I was debating between the Spring Onion Spetzle or the Lobster Campanelle pasta. I asked Santiago, my server, which I should pick and he suggested the Lobster. He said the Lobster is somewhat spicy, with Calabrian chili. I asked for it to be served on the side.I can't put my finger on what I disliked about the pasta. It was bland. And the chili sauce was too spicy to be added. You'd think with lobster, it had to be good. I ate about a quarter of my plate and it just wasn't working for me. I set the dish aside and waited for Santiago's return. He asked me if I wanted to box it, and I said no.What I found odd is why he wouldn't have asked if there was an issue with the pasta. But since he didn't ask me, he'll need to read this review. After two amazing starters, I was disappointed with my entrée. As I walked out, the two managers thanked me for visiting, but didn't ask how my meal was.I don't know what would have happened if I told Santiago I didn't like the pasta. Ditto for the managers. Maybe they would have found some accommodation. Regardless, I tipped Santiago 20% and called it a night. I was in the restaurant for one hour."
"This is a true dive bar in the North End. Yes, it's on a corner and yes, we passed it several times before finally going in. You won't find any specialty craft beers here. Tons of liquor to choose from along with your run of the mill beer selection. The owner quickly greeted us and offered an order of fries since you have to get food with alcohol in Boston. I had a Corona since it was the only beer they have that I'm okay with drinking. It was quiet since it was the middle of the afternoon but just what we needed after walking around all morning. Don't come here looking for anything crazy or new. You come here for a cheap drink and to chill out for a while. The owner is the nicest guy and won't rush you."
"There's such a thing as piling on, and my drop-in-the-bucket 5* rating of Paramount won't stand out from the crowd. Still what is a destination spot every Boston trip should be documented.Since I'm always here on a weekday morning, I don't have to battle the weekend brunch crowds. I did brave that madness once to great fanfare however (1.5 hrs later, I was full). Today it's just me and a couple localites grabbing our early-fall morning sustenance.Since I don't live down the street (help us, cholesterol, if so), my go-to will be blueberry pancakes (with real Vermont syrup straight from the trees of course). These are giant, so bring your empty belly. Besides that I bounce around between breakfast meats and sometimes eggs. Plenty of choices among the meats if you're looking to mix it up. And for those frowning at my indulgence, you can get your yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, whole wheat toast, egg whites, etc. All that looks really good, but I come here for the carbs.Nice weather means you can sit outside and take in the sights and sounds of North End. Today that would be great for lunch. Speaking of that the pulled pork or steak and cheese sandwiches are a good choice, or even the veggie beans and quinoa burger. I'll primarily stick to breakfast for sentimental and edible reasons, and will look for you there the next time I'm in town."
"Came here with my wife and daughter for an early Sunday dinner. We had a hard time finding it at first because there was no sign outside. This is all part of the experience of the place, though. Once we found it, we went downstairs to find a dark tinted door with newspapers covering the adjacent windows. Again, no sign. When I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised by all the red seating, dim red lights, and the overall vibe of the place. They were also playing some great 70's, 80's, and 90's hits, which was outstanding. The buttery, crispy on the outside bread and olive oil with olives, etc, was amazing. I got the Capeletti Al Ragu, consisting of perfect little "dumplings" with short rib and big slices of black truffle on top. It was insanely delicious and perfectly balanced. My wife and daughter got the rigatoni alla vodka and it was disappointing. - Just not flavorful. Pasta was cooked perfectly, though. Service was attentive and helpful. This place is a must try and must see"
"This place is absolutely awesome. I would definitely visit the Tip Tap room frequently if I lived in the area.We were the first ones there; we arrived shortly after they opened (no reservations). They have an awesome, diverse menu with a ton of great beer choices. I was planning on trying one of the brews, but someone started with a Bloody Mary and we all followed suit. My friends had a beer chaser and were happy with their choices.I had a veggie burger that was absolutely delicious. Rave reviews on everything else including our awesome, engaging server. It got very busy quickly with large parties that had reservations. Definitely go here."
"This place is located inside the Boston Park Plaza. It was a long day and we decided to just dine in the hotel. The restaurant is right in the the center of the lobby. Kinda in an open area. I chose the lobster roll with steak fries. Now that was delicious! I savored every morsel. Our server was nice and kudos to the chef."
"I came here with my foodies club in a party of 13 and we had a great time! Due to our party size, we were seated in what is effectively a private dining room downstairs that has a beautiful wine wall as its backdrop. It made the experience feel both intimate and exclusive. Our server, Brian, was not only very helpful with menu recommendations but he also got all the right angles for our group photos! We came for Dine Out Boston week and were happy to have a great meal. I started with the Wagyu dumplings with ginger, lemongrass broth, which was really an interesting appetizer. The lemongrass certainly came through in the broth and it was an enjoyable dish. I follow this with the hanger steak with peppercorn sauce, which was cooked perfectly at medium. I could've used a touch more of the sauce, but that is just a personal preference. The star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce. Chef's kiss! This was the best dessert I have had in recent memory. The cake was moist but not overly so, and I could've drunk a gallon of the butterscotch sauce. I wish I were still eating it right now! Move over, other steakhouses. Boston Chops is here to stay!"
"Second time here and still good. It's a local favorite and can get busy at peak times. This time we had the chopped salad which hit the spot with tasty dressing. The chicken sandwich is always good too. Love that the workers here seem happy to work here - good vibe."
"This Time Out Market offers some great restaurants, fun desserts and a cool bar in one place. So just take a whirl around and pick one and you will hit the jackpot.Yes it looks crowded and busy and it may be a bit tricky to find a seat, but with a little effort you will find a spot, so grab it and enjoy your meal. I love the vibe and the music. There's a nice little grass park for the kids in front of it, along with Trillium Brewery. Cheers!"
"My wife and I spent the weekend at the Omni Parker House and enjoyed a great breakfast in their restaurant. On a cold January Sunday, the dining room was less than half full around 930 am. Steeped in history, the old room was beautifully maintained. We loved the white tablecloths, fine china, and cutlery at our table. Our server got us started with drinks before taking our order. My wife got decaf coffee, and I the largest glass of grapefruit juice ever. We both ordered the American breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon/sausage, and potatoes. Our breakfast arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. My scrambled eggs were in a small skillet surrounded by the sides on a large plate. It was very colorful, with bright reds, yellows, and browns. It tasted just as fresh as it looked. I especially enjoyed the peppers and onions mixed with the potatoes hiding under the eggs. Service was attentive and a team effort. We enjoyed everything about our breakfast."
"I had an excellent experience dining here for the first time! Our server was super attentive and very communicative about any dietary restrictions or allergies. The servers were constantly refilling our water and checking to see if we were doing okay.Four of us ordered 3 pizzas and 2 appetizers. This was plenty of food because we were all very full at the end and ended up taking half of a pizza to go.We started with some crispy potatoes ($13) and the mushroom toast ($18). Both dishes were so tasty! The crispy potatoes were like smashed fingerling potatoes-- super creamy and silky on the inside with a delicate, crispy skin on the outside. The mushroom toast had a nice balance between crispy toast, buttery aioli, and tender mushrooms. Both dishes were seasoned very well and had a good balance of flavors. For pizza, we got the margherita ($18), 'nduja ($20), and fennel & sausage ($21). I loved how they are not shy with the pizza crust, which was pillowy and fluffy! The pizza crust had a subtle sourdough flavor to it and was super charred on the outside. Some people might not be a big fan of this style, but I for sure love it! My favorite was probably the fennel & sausage pizza. The sausage had a lot of flavor and I loved the whipped ricotta on top."
"This is a nice find on this area. A little gem, definitely worth the visit. Would love to come back at some point."
