Bodega Taqueria y Tequila Coral Gables

Stopped in for lunch. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with the menu. We had avocado, shrimp, and brisket tacos. Ingredients were fresh and had ample amount in each. We also had guacamole and chips. These were also fresh and nicely prepared. For desert, we had an order of churros, which we did not enjoy. They were hard and on the dry side. These were served with a small plastic container of chocolate dipping sauce.Overall, the place had a cool urban vibe. Food and service were good. Churros need a little work and perhaps serving the chocolate in something other than plastic would be a better presentation.

I recently visited bodega and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy yet vibrant atmosphere.The drink menu is diverse and creative,The service was great. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Despite the bar being busy, we never felt neglected or rushed.What also stood out was the music. The playlist was fantastic, providing a great backdrop without being overpowering. It added to the overall ambiance and made for a fun and enjoyable night out.

Disappointed Mexican - We stopped by for taco Tuesday and a margarita. The tortillas were super tough and i couldn't finish eating the tacos (impossible to chew). In a nice way i mentioned it to the server and then literally demonstrated with my fingers the difficulty in tearing apart the tough/dry/leather like tortilla...he acknowledged it, said "Wow!" and then brought us the full bill. I guess I expected a small discount or a free little sweet dessert or token anything. Even a $10 discount would have done it for us...Nope- we go the $90 bill. We won't be coming back which is sad because we live a block away and our neighborhood group compares restaurant notes constantly.The margaritas were overpriced- mostly ice and very little tequila.As a Mexican woman, it is a sad day to see the what has become of our national treasures, the "tacos".I am going to be generous and give them 3 stars - I hope they improve as they are the closest tacos to my house....but then of course- I make some pretty good tacos too :) jajajajBTW...did I mention they included a 20% gratuity?

Perfect for a midday snack during our bike ride! We didn't know this location was even here, we sat at the bar and the bartender told us they have only been open some months. I had two tacos, a Birria and a coconut shrimp, they were yummy and reliable for a tasty pick-me-up just like the other bodega locations. The coconut shrimp was okay, i felt it could have used more seasonings. Prices are okay, 6$ each for a taco, but if you come on Tuesdays you can get 3 for the price of 2.My friend had the Birria quesadilla and loved it. The consommé is full of flavor. Still a staple, can't wait to add this routine to my rotation in the area.

My 5 star goes straight to Cas who hooked it up with some special surprise drink I was completely clueless about. I told her to make magic and she made it happen. Service was stellar and so was her drink making. She was amazing and I'd come back time and time again just for Cass. The mezcal bar is located in the back after you pass the bathrooms. It's a MUST!

This is a really cute taco spot in Coconut Grove! Very casual seating and menu. They have tacos, burritos and drinks! Plus they have a cool happy hour too. I got the happy hour avocado taco for $4- it was just okay to be honest. I liked the crunchy potato sticks, but the avocado was minimal and the tortilla didnt taste too fresh. I wish they had more vegetarian options too... this is the only vegetarian taco. I am willing to go back and try it once more... maybe the drinks are better!

Bodega has opened up on Miracle Mile. Bodega is a miami classic with the OG spot in south beach.Bodega is my fav taco spot in Miami. It is better than any other taco spot in Miami.You get your money's worth. There is something for everyone.The ingredients are fresh. There is a great taco box deal as well.I liked how there was a self order option at this location.Parking is street parking.You need to try the Nutella churros ! I am so happy that they are open now at this location.Definitely coming back

The drinks were beyond subpar. We ordered a purple Paloma which had quality tequila but miserable after-taste. The premade margarita was unpalatably sour. The pico picante tasted like cucumber juice with a kick. The margarita we ordered at the bar was a $20 hoax. The guacamole was so sad, not even the tomatoes were blushing with embarrassment.Service charge was included.The server (on the plus side) was delectable. But the service itself failed to meet any standard. When we asked what the specials included, their response was "the specials." When we inquired again about the contents of those specials (some type of tower, ranchero nachos), the bartender was unable to identify any descriptors or ingredients.Bodega has plenty of locations with much better service and quality food. Do not waste your time here. Enjoy the rest of Miracle Mile.

Bodega Coral Gables was a bit of a letdown. The place is way too small, and there's hardly any nightlife or energy here. If you're looking for a lively spot, the Bodega in Coconut Grove is definitely the better option--much bigger and with a way better vibe. The Coral Gables location just doesn't compare.
