My daughter had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and said it was good. the onion rings were evenly battered, which made a nice presentation. The chicken breast on the salad was tough, there was excessive amounts of partially melted cheddar cheese under the chicken, large tomato chunks, banana peppers, whole and half onion slices underneath. Not an easy meal to attempt to eat without a knife (which they were out of), but overall not pleasant tasting. I took one bite of the egg roll. It lacked flavor. Overall not a win for our taste buds."

"I went out earlier in the day for lunch but by the time nightfall came I couldn't get over the fact that I ate something I didn't want which was Italian food that day so I had to have me some seafood. Since Leila's Land and Sea moved from their location I needed another go to spot. Crab Pot on Godby was closed for the day so I came to yelp and looked at this spot. It had pretty good reviews so I took a chance and did UBER Eats. I ordered the Shrimp Boil Bag. I was amazed at how big the shrimp were in the bag. There had to be about 10 pretty large size shrimp in the bag with two potatoes, 2 ears of corn, one boiled egg and two pieces of sausage. Now my only complaint is the sausage. It was rather tiny for a seafood bag. I almost missed it the pieces were so small. The flavor of the garlic butter was good. Next time I'll just ask for extra. I might order another one real soon this time with crab legs. I like this spot so far. It is located on Old National Highway."

"Exactly what you expect - its a divey seafood shack but very spacious. I had a whole bench to myself which I was able to get with no wait time. Tons of tvs inside which I was able to watch a lifetime movie while enjoy my meal.They are not shy with the amount of lobster. They let the ingredients do the talking with the simplicity. The lobster roll was alright, it needed a like more TLC. The bisque however is really good. It was my favorite part of the meal. Good flavor and full of seafood. Great lunchtime spot."

"Great experience here trying the Yakitori tasting which included one of each of the meats and veggies and a dessert one for 9 total plus a salad and rice pilaf for $65. We had one each and it was def enough food. We like the chicken a lot, steak was just ok {maybe bc we prefer med rare and having well cooked in general just wasn't our jam} , lobster was a large piece tempura style and super yummy. Veggies were all awesome. We didn't need our shishedo pepper app since they were part of the veggies skewers oops lol. Mushroom and squash and also tomato were all so good. The tuna ball app was huge and came with crispy wonton chips -also very good. Service was outstanding. Our server was so helpful and made great recommendations and points to help up select our food and accommodate our toddler and his food. We got the kiddo two chicken skewers {sans onions } and some rice. Ambience was a bit different than expected--but it matched the VaHi vibe and felt a bit more low key and casual than the Kinji other spots {kinji room MF} Doors open to the street, which is inviting however we got a whiff of smoke while eating since the spot is pretty quaint and has a clear view to outside. Some tables out on the street, bar seating, and table/booth options as well. Overall def worth checking out and pretty awesome if you are trying to eat clean and simple."

"I used to stop by here and order food cooked to order. It seems that they are still doing that. Plates are available or you can pick your own from the case and pay to have it cooked.Today I stopped by to purchase fresh fish to take home and cook. It was in the area I was in and I was a little pressed for time so I didn't want to get side tracked in a grocery store. I PAID for the convenience. Catfish nuggets were $5.49 a pound...SHEESH! In short I bought 2 pieces of flounder filet and a 1/2 lb of catfish nuggets and it was almost $10. The man behind the counter wasn't well versed with his products...I wanted the white side only of the flounder and had to show him which was which. It seems they have a good price on Crawfish but unless I'm in the area and wanting Crawfish...I will just go to the store."

"This was my first time at this restaurant, but not my son and his girlfriend. The employees are super friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food was delicious. They have a plenty of entrees to choose from and beverages. I had fish, and my family had steak or chicken bowls. We love broccoli, so we all chose that for our vegetable. We wanted to sit outside, since it was a nice day outside. It took awhile to get our food, but the wait was definitely worth it. They also have different kinds of cake. I chose pound cake and my family had pineapple. We will be back soon."

"I loooove this Bahamian spot! The food is sooooo good. I tried their oxtails, cabbage, Mac and cheese and Johnny cake and rum cake. The taste was out of this world, I've tried oxtails so many different ways but no this way. The gravy is so good. I could eat the gravy of anything lol. The Mac and cheese was good. The cabbage has a really nice spice to it. The second time I went the cabbage wasn't spicy at all, I guess it depends on who makes it. Always get the Johnny cake, it's a good pairing with the cabbage and gravy."

We quickly looked over the menu to place to go orders. Chef Penny advised us that it would be a 20-minute wait on fried foods because the fryers were just being tuned on...Wait what?! I was confused, being that they open at 11a.m. ANYWHO!! Orders still placed. The wait was longer than expected, more like 45 minutes. I definitely wouldn't go again around lunchtime. The food just didn't seem fresh. The Mac n' cheese seemed like it was reheated and leftover from the day before . My colleague said their grilled fish didn't taste great and had an upset stomach afterward.Maybe I'll give them another try on a different occasion later in the day to see if my opinion of them changes or remains the same."

"This was my first time visiting since they re-did the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There was no wait. We were seated immediately and it didn't take long for someone to ask about our drink orders and answer some questions about the menu. The kitchen works fast. My Katsu curry hit the spot in all the right ways. And the serving was huge. This was one of those dishes where my desire to stop eating (because I was full) collided with my desire to keep eating because it tasted so good. My wife really enjoyed her Omurice. She didn't elaborate because her mouth was full. And the environs are still comfortable. The decorations haven't really changed. The posters all still have fun with ramen, even though ramen is no longer on the menu. But it's a fun thing to laugh at. So I'm looking forward to my next visit. Holler if you're coming with."

"Okay, I'll finally admit it. I eat at Phat Phish. Not often, but enough to write a solid review. I usually order thai chili flavored wings but I've also had other flavors. I like that the wings are regular-sized (not jumbo..gross) and cooked crispy. I've had a burger here - not great but better than typical fast food. A friend has had their fried fish and he said that it was doable and he'd eat it again. The only thing I've eaten here that I'm not a fan of are the fries; they don't cook them hot or long enough so they are often limp and I'm a fan of crispy fries. Surprisingly, the food that I've had actually looks like the pictures they display. Winning! Service is fairly fast, but the girls they have working the register get on my nerves. They are not interested in being there AT ALL which explains why there is a different one every time I visit. It's all I can do not to roll my eyes when I have to place my order. While I'm not a regular at Phat Phish, it's a solid place and they are my go-to when I want something fast and don't want to drive too far."

Good, but pricy with a typical American menu.The side salad with an accompanying honey-drizzled croissant is very good. Worth the extra $6. Dressings are homemade. T ordered ribs. I liked them cause they're lean, but really, nothing extraordinary. My trout was fine. Again, good but not knock-your-socks off. They offer a few choices in preparation. Our server, a knowledgeable fellow named Michael, suggested parmesan crusted. So that's what I went with.A number of options for dessert. I thought the peach cobbler was okay -- but to be fair, cobbler isn't necessarily my favorite dessert. I'd rather have ordered the warm brownie a la mode, which is what the anniversary couple got.I think there are wine deals almost every evening. Tuesdays it's half-priced glasses. I went with the low-end cab to which Michael -- he's really funny! -- said "it's like sludge! You can get much better for a little more." I took his advice and asked that he also bring a taste of the sludge so I could see for myself. And son-of-a-gun, he was right!Brookwood Grill is a Roswell staple. When we arrived at 5:30, plenty of seats were to be had. When we left a few hours later, the place was full. Reservations recommended."

We started with complimentary bread which was served hot and soft. Right then I knew our experience would be a positive one! Everyone at our table of 6 enjoyed their meals. I ordered the Lasagna and it was a perfect portion of deliciousness. I would highly recommend it! The dishes here are a bit more expensive then other Italian restaurants but the quality of the food and complimentary bread make up for it. The restaurant is also very modern looking. They truly care about making your dining experience special. I highly recommend trying this restaurant! Our server was super sweet and made the toddlers of our table a priority."

Now on to the review, the staff was amazing, the ambience has won me over compared to the choices within a few exits on the interstate. The wings were fried nicely and the flavor was good. I enjoyed them. The catfish nuggets are a no for me. The breading was too doughy or not fried hard enough and it seemed like the fish itself had no seasoning. It's like it was just dumped in some slightly seasoned flour/breading. Coleslaw was not worth 1.99. I won't count this place out though. I would like to go in the store next time to see if there is a difference."

Rather than order the "Aegean" prix fixe as we always have, if we return, we're better off going a la carte.Kyma's appetizers are wonderful. The prix fixe used to include four off the menu. Now it's down to two, and the portion for the three of us was skimpy -- likely the same as they'd serve two people. Aside from quantity, the lamb pie, pork ribs and calamari (which we ordered separately) are winners. To make up for the missing appetizers, they've added a Greek salad which was overloaded with tomatoes. (My preference would be to raise prices rather than impose cost-cutting measures.)To our surprise, the fish portion of our meal was huge. I posted a photo of the char (salmon) we got.... but there was another piece that I didn't photograph. Plenty for five people. (Couldn't they have done that with the appetizers?!)Dessert -- not included on the prix fixe -- was okay. The loukoumades (Greek donuts) not nearly as good as what we get in Astoria. Service is a little too quick, like they want to feed you and get you out. So I don't know -- there's good, there's bad. If you live locally, see what you think."

We were seated in a small booth and asked for a table with no reservation to move us. Thanks ladies. Then we were greeted by Alia! Omg, she is an outstanding waitress with honesty and busiest! Lol she was bartendering as well but she took great care of us. The music was playing throughout the restaurant ut not too loud. She took our drink order, ginger ale for me and coke for boo. I wasnt up for drinking and the ginger ale didnt have any carbonation so I stuck with water. Which probably was best. For an appetizer we have fried okra $12.99. It was really good. The seasoning was great. After the app, our food came out really quickly. Redfish for me and blackened ribeye for boo. Everything about the evening was great. Eventhough Alia was busy she made it her business to look after us. I bill was a little over $80. We even got some beignets to seal the night! Thanks Lousiana Bistreaux! We will be back."

The restaurant was fairly empty, which I appreciated. I ordered the catfish Po boy sandwich which was part of their lunch special. It was good, seasoned nicely but not overly seasoned. For dessert, yes I had dessert :) I ordered the bread pudding which was also very tasty. I did have to ask the manager if he could warm my dessert up because it came out luke warm. He and I started chatting his name escapes me but I believe it stared with an A. Nice conversation and he (the manager) seemed very pleasant and invested in the customer experience which I appreciated.I plan to return to this location again with my husband. Overall, great experience!"

The restaurant has wonderful interior, a huge bar, bunch of very well decorated booths. The menu is full of interesting dishes. I got the naked burger that had a bison paddy. It was a delicious burger. The bison tasted so good with melted cheese and all the other ingredients of the burger. We liked the huge crab cakes and citrusy lemonade. They have a small kids menu as well. Chicken fingers and fries were good. Service was excellent. Our server was so nice. Food came out within a decent time. Overall this is a great place to dine with family."

"A friend told me about this spot so I came for a pan of rice and peas for a Christmas outing. The rice and peas was great, and my waitress was very accommodating for the size order I had. She let me try a few items before I made my final decision and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. I'll be back for an individual plate, so I can give a better review of cost for one person."
