This is Bellina Alimentari for me.Found at the Ponce City Market, at first glance... well, I probably wouldn't have stepped in there. I mean, I'm in a foodie heaven - why would I want to try an Italian restaurant when I'm surrounded by more exotic foods, plenty of bars, and shopping galore? At least that was my thought, but you know I was with friends and one of them insisted on eating at this lovely restaurant. Boy am I glad she convinced me!Josh was our server and he was just a delight. Whatever they're teaching that man in terms of attention and service, they have to replicate with the rest of the staff. He was so peppy and willing to help us choose our plates and drinks. If I were to go back to Atlanta, I'd definitely ask for him when returning to this restaurant.Anyway, in terms of food - we started off with their complimentary bread, of which we wound up having two orders because we were THAT hungry. Three out of four of us partook in drinks. I believe I had a Prosecco. Nothing out of the ordinary with this, but when we talk about ACTUAL food, well... we were next to the area where they make the noodles. It was an extraordinary sight to see those noodles pulled for the very first time.Obviously, we all ordered noodle dishes. How could we not given that it's an Italian restaurant and they make them on site? We ordered the polpo, lasagne, carbonara, and GA shrimp dishes. My dish was this last one, and holy moly, this is a dish I keep salivating over nearly two months later. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, the noodles were as well, and the combination of flavors was to die for. More surprising still is that the plate looked small, but as I began to eat it, more shrimp randomly appeared and it was hearty and felt like an embrace from a loved one.Shockingly some of us had space for dessert. One friend ordered a tiramisu. I meanwhile debated between a panna cotta and a cannoli. They were out of the first one, so the choice was clear: cannoli. Let me tell you that this cannoli was probably the best cannoli I've ever had and I've been to New York, Boston, and Italy. This cannoli to me may as well be my future spouse because that's the love I had for it. Heck, if we didn't have a 4-5 hour drive back home, I'd have bought a second one home, but alas... I didn't because it'd have melted.All in all, when can I go back to Atlanta and dine at Bellina Alimentari again? I haven't the foggiest clue. What I do know is I loved this place so much that I keep recommending it to people. One of my coworkers went, in fact, and she's raving about them, too. Dying to return! Seriously they've wowed me!"

"I am sooo excited that we have such a tasty and BLACK owned business in south Fulton!! I tried to come here last week, but came maybe 30 minutes after closing. So, I came again because the great reviews and I was really wanting a yummy salad. I literally stood outside waiting until the lock clicked open at 11:30am. It's extremely clean, modern and I was greeted as soon as I entered. The menu and pricing model is very clear and prominent, which I appreciate as a detail-oriented person. I got n Caesar salad and added chicken to it. YUMMY. The chicken was hot, well seasoned, and lettuce was fresh and bright. Very impressed and I savored that thang but couldn't leave a morsel. I also got the cookies for $1.50 and they were DELICIOUS. I almost doubled back but didn't want to mess up my progress. Next time, I may try one of the juices. Definitely a new lunchtime fave! "I was in the Morrow area visiting a good friend of mine when I saw this restaurant. The time we went in it didn't have anyone inside so we decided to dine in. The server came over to us immediately. She soon took our drink orders and I chose to get the top shelf patron margarita. This restaurant also has a full bar and the bartender was not stingy with the alcohol. The margarita was delicious. I got two appetizers cuz I was hungry which was onion rings and calamari. The calamari was good really chewy but the onion rings was on point. My entree was the seafood boil with crab legs and mussels which did not disappoint. Kudos to the DJ for playing all the R&B from 1990's and early 2000's it was a whole vibe. Funny enough this restaurant pays homage to the originator of the name Mr. Krabz from the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon. Too funny and definitely will be back soon."

"Went here based on recommendation from my cousin. Small space located in Cascade area. Very limited parking. There's a Wells Fargo plaza across the street that I used for parking. Not sure if that's part of an official parking lot for the business or not. This spot offered good energy and a cute quaint setup. I ordered oxtail lasagna and was not impressed at all. It was more of like a Deconstructed lasagna and it was very salty. When I mentioned its saltiness, the server did take it back and have it corrected. That was a plus. I saw them bring out some fries that looked fresh and home cut so I tried those. Listen. They did not disappoint. Try them! Last but not least.... The sangria! OMG!!! The bartender was behind the bar slanging them things and they were nothing less than amazing. Try the red one. You will thank me later."

And anything with grainy mustard on it gets 5 stars. Obviously, I have the most refined pallet.I picked up a snack from the stand: a Killer Cookie (a chocolate chip cookie literally the size of my face) and a cup of coffee. They only serve one size cup, and they brew Caribou Coffee, which is also along Peachtree Road, maybe less than a mile away.The cookie was chewy and SO fragrant and so large I had to save the last bit for later. The coffee really hit the spot, and I have to say, I preferred it to Starbucks Pike Roast (waiting for lightning to strike me dead...)My friend wasn't a huge fan of the Chicken and Rice soup. The rice was minimal and chicken not so great. I'd say, just stick to their classics, not their "special" offerings. Or, just grab a cookie the size of your face for lunch. I'm sure it's healthy enough."

There were three orders before him. Again, he was patient and was cool about it. When he got home, there were a couple of things that was wrong with our order. He asked for Jalapeños on his pizza. Did not add. Paid for large salad, got a small. Asked for lemon vinaigrette dressing, received Balsamic. I thought the food was good. Loved my Margherita pizza. The crust was on point and the sauce had a great flavor. With tip we paid $60.00 (with tip) for two 12" inch pizzas and a large salad (paid for a large only got a small). Very pricey in my opinion. He didn't feel like walking back because we were tired from a long drive from Cincy so we just dropped it. If the order was right, then the money we spent would've been well worth it."

"Stop reading this review. Get thee to Shorty's. We've been here several times and they always get everything right. You might not know it from looking at the place, but someone in that kitchen is paying very close attention to what's on the menu and how it is cooked. For instance, they make their own bread. The pizzas are wood-fired. And nothing on the menu is an afterthought. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. Just get what sounds good to you and hang out for a bit with the adult beverage of your choice. The pizza will take a bit of time, but you'll forget the time when it arrives at your table all hot, fresh, and tasty. One day we decided to try something other than pizza. I can't remember what my friends had because I was completely enamored of the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. I ordered a 7" Tuna Sub and an order of Fries.It took a little longer than usual for a cold sub and order of fries, but as it was the lunch time of the day, I figured it was due to order volume.Let's talk the food! The fries were absolutely AMAZING. To my surprise they were crinkle cut which are my favorite. They were perfectly fried with the crispy outside and soft middle. They weren't greasy and they were very fresh. The tuna sub was a nice size and had a good meat to bread ratio. The tuna itself was very bland. It seemed to have no flavor additives at all. The tomatoes on the sub were very fresh and juicy, and the lettuce was crisp.Overall, for $7 it was a perfect fit for the price. The next time I go I will stay away from the tuna and try the pizza as I hear it is very good. I def recommend the fries if you love a good fry as I do. Oh, I almost forgot, the ketchup packets they provide with the fries really are a hit. The ketchup has a sweetness to it that Pairs perfectly with the fry. Geesh!
