Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

We enjoy our Jim N Nicks in Covington But, the last 3 weeks going into resturant at 7:30 pm. Greeted with just to let you know....We are out of Brisket, Biscuits, Chicken, onion rings. Coke machine out for several days only tea. Don't know what is going on. Went there again tonight same thing. If you are a BBQ restaurant please make sure you aren't out of your main dishes weekly.

This location is awesome! Friendly staff and the food is always delicious and large portions. The half chicken is enough for 2 people to split. Pulled pork and chicken tenders are awesome too. Favorite place to pick up and the food is always hot.

The food was good. I ordered the marbled chopped beef sandwich and I thought it was a little dry and it wasn't chopped, but it had good flavor. They have nice size portions.

Haven't had Jim n nicks in years and tried the new location in Covington. Was a little surprised at the setup. You order your food at the counter and they bring it to you. Little weird but other than that the food was decent and the workers were friendly. Will go back.

Food was not what I expected since I have eaten at several Jim'n Nick's over the years. This one was a let down with the exception of the staff, the staff was friendly and courteous. The food was smoked way too heavy.

Beautiful loaded baked potato, no sour cream. Service was great. Clean restaurant. This was at lunch time

I was hesitant at first because of bad experiences at other BBQ restaurants. I was excited about a location opening close to home so I thought I'd check it out. It's not a traditional sit down order restaurant, you place your order pay, they give you a number and you find your table. They bring your food to your table but there's no dedicated table service, someone may come and check on you but it's not traditional. The BBQ was was fresh and they got my order right. The employees were friendly, POLITE, kind and customer focused. I got my food fast and the restaurant is clean. There's clean restrooms and a cool inside/outside bar. There's free parking on the premises but it's tight. Overall, not a bad experience.

Had the 2 lbs of rib dinner and an order of nachos. Ribs came out in about 5 minutes good flavor but dry. Then 24 minutes later the nachos came out??? Said they had to grate the cheese. Servers were pleasant but will not be back. There are too many other options with better food quality and in a timely matter.

Grabbed food from the drive thru last night. Ordered the half chicken, baked potato (without the cheese and bacon), and collard greens. The chicken wasn't bad, but I realized I'm not a fan of smoked chicken. I'll try a different meat next time. It was well-seasoned. The potato was perfectly cooked. It wasn't dried out which was great. The collard greens were absolutely terrible. They were so salty it made them inedible. I've eaten at the Jim N Nicks in Conyers and their greens were extremely salty too. I thought it was a fluke. Now, I think it's the company's recipe. It sucked because I really wanted them. I didn't try the muffins because I can't have gluten. I like that they have a drive thru. It's a new building, so it looks nice. The young lady who took my order and the young man who served my order were really nice and professional.
