Daniel B. "I checked out Grilldabeast last night at the Atlanta Food Truck Park on Howell Mill Rd. (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye-part-2). Grilldabeast is, I assume, a play on the word wildebeest. I asked one of the owners what theme his food truck has and he explained to me it's street food favorites "with a twist." I believe it's a fairly new addition to the ATL food truck scene. No more than a month or two old.The small truck is painted all black. The menu consisted of an Avocado BLT, Chicken Shawarma, Peachy Pork (pork loin BBQ sandwich), and Smoke-Fried Wings (mango Thai chili glaze, avocado ranch). Sides included a Panko Avocado basket, Smoked Tomato Dill Hummus, Chips, and Slaw. Mains were about $7-8 each and sides $5 and less. Drinks (mint iced tea and bottled water) were $2.I tried the Chicken Shawarma ($8) plus a mint iced tea ($2). Shawarmas are Middle Eastern sandwiches or wraps that contain meat, typically off of a spit, along with a variety of garnishes such as tabbouleh salad, tomatoes, cumcumbers, etc. Grillabeast's Chicken Shawarma is huge. It's served open-faced, so it's kind of like eating a giant soft taco. The Chicken Shawarma contains pieces of marinated char-grilled chicken breast, tzatziki (Greek yogurt sauce), Mediterranean salsa (tomatoes, cucumber), lettuce, and feta cheese all inside pita bread. Overall, not bad. It was certainly filling and the ingredients were fresh enough. If anything, I thought the wrap could have used more tzatziki sauce because I love that stuff -- it's minty and refreshing, but I can see why they don't add more sauce as the wrap would get quite messy to eat. The shawarma came with a side of house-made chips, also not bad. They were thin and more on the soft rather than crispy side.Mint iced tea was pretty simple. Not much sugar added if any. $2 for one Styrofoam cupful may be asking a tad too much, but whatever.Staff was very nice and my food, which was made-to-order, came out fast. Credit cards are accepted, though I'm not sure if there's a minimum."

Derek R. "Let's put it like this: I'm part Greek AND Jewish and have lived in a lot of major cities where getting very good, very legit and fairly-priced gyros/shawarma is part of the landscape. And let's put it like this: I went to Sabaraba's with my Israeli pal that I often go out to eat gyros/shawarma.So, now that I've established my unquestionable qualifications, lol, I can confidently say Sabaraba's is indeed very good, VERY legit and fairly priced. I can also say that I've NEVER been somewhere that does BOTH gyros and shawarma...usually, it depends on the restaurateur's ethnicity, because although these are similar dishes, there are also some crucial differences. However, Sabaraba's definitely knows what those differences are, so, regardless of how you lean on the gyros/shawarma scale, you'll be quite satisfied."

You can place your order at a kiosk, however, I am sure the staff can also take your order. I ordered a salad bowl and sesame fries ; don't judge me)! I have had these fries during every visit- they are that good! The salad was fresh and tasty. I have also tried the wings that are amazing! I got them for the first time today. Gator bites are up there with Pappaduexs.Flavorful and tasty. I also got a soft shell crab poboy! Fries came with my poboy for the side! Jus loafn is the spot because I know of 6 other places I can get a poboy but all of them fall short with putting sauce or spread on the bread! They have the authentic French Leidenheimer Bread for the poboys! They also have a food truck and are opening a new location in East Atlanta Village 512 Flat Shoals Ave! Other places have everything on their poboys except for the sauce! Here they put mayo and sauce is boss! No dry poboy!"

Erica E. "Love this place!I've been fortunate enough to visit Grub Truck at The Works and recently, via their food truck at Atlantucky Brewing during a fun Yelp Elite event. While working at the Works one day, I stumbled upon Grub Truck after essentially sniffing them out. I just had to know where that heavenly smell was coming from and lucky me, I found out! On that visit I ordered a Lobster Grilled Cheese and PHEW! ‍ Each bite was pure decadence! So rich, so buttery, so cheesy. I knew I shouldn't be eating it but I didn't care, lol. Totally worth it. Recently at Atlantucky, I smelled that luring scent once again. Owner, Jay, and a teammate (who was killing it BTS!) set up shop in a food truck setup that was so legit. With a mini terrace area adorned with a smoker/grill on the back, I refused to end my night without an order. I promised Jay that I would be back later and to wait for me LOL. After some hours hanging with the Squad, I began noticing the silence in the room and the delicious smells of garlic aioli and fresh fries, I looked around and noticed multiple members of the Elite Squad digging into their takeaways from Grub Truck. I had to have some. It can get busy when hosting and chatting with the best Elites ever, but at some point I found a moment to check in with Jay on timing. It was about 9:50 or so, and he let me know that they were beginning to break down and head home. I begged him to wait for my coworker and I, as I knew it was a late night and finding good food after 10pm can be a stress. Jay being such a gem, he waited as I grabbed her and we made our orders. We both ended up going with wings and fries, a very good choice. My wings were on the smaller end but in this economy, what can I say lol. But let me tell y'all THIS. The fries were great, I don't want to just skrrt over them. I'd love to see them with a seasoned waffle fry omg. But listen - that wing sauce/those wings were SO GOOD. Wow. I had Honey Hot and baby. I'll give a pinch of credit to me being hungry and tired, but all the rest of it goes to Jay and the Grub Truck team because what in the world is in that sauce? Omg. I almost texted my coworker at 11:30 about them because I just needed to see if I was alone in my sentiment but that seemed inappropriate so I kept it inside. But here we are. Moral of the story: Get the Honey Hot and support this amazing business."

Kien H. "So I'm all about New Orleans food so I had to give it a shot. Cafe Bourbon Street is a food truck so it's not a standard brick and mortar (at this location) so just keep that in mind. If you are going to try to go, make sure you download the app so that you can order your food and get it in a timely fashion. They run it as first come first serve so it gives you a better chance to get in and out as soon as possible.Service was good, I don't have any complaints. You're waiting around but everybody's nice and friendly who's taking your order. I ordered the food while I was on the freeway and by the time I got there it was just getting done and bagged so that worked out really well. Again, I would 101% suggest you download the app instead of getting it and waiting around. When I was there to work a lot of people there but I know that there could be quite a bit of people there giving the fact that I read some reviews on it. So you want to go ahead and make sure you do your due diligence.I went with the Cajun fried shrimp and the jambalaya egg roll. The Cajun fried shrimp was good, it could have used more seasoning but I understand that you want to make sure that you don't inundate somebody with seasonings because they may not like it and once you put it on you can't take it off. But if you're coming for New Orleans food, I want to hear and feel and taste that spice! But the shrimp was good. I actually did dip it in some cocktail sauce when I got home, just to help it alone but I would get it again though honestly.I don't really do beignets but I had to try it just because why not lol. If you like them, you will be satisfied I assume. They come with maybe three of them or so, Dusted and all the powdered sugar that looks like snowfall lol. They also have shrimp that is sauced in a sweet and spicy sauce kind of situation and now it's actually really good as well. These sauced up shrimp came dripping with sauce and had green onion garnished on them as well. Really good. I didn't need anything extra for them, like the casa sauce I use for the regular fried shrimp. Solid attempt! Next time I would probably consider getting that instead of the regular but I want to see what the regular tasted like first and foremost before I bitch it off into sauces! Now I've saved this for the last part of review, the jambalaya egg roll. This joint was a hit! It came in too long egg rolls couldn't have and it was drizzled in some beautiful spicy sauce. That situation right there was a winner! That could have been the meal and I would have been happy lol. Well I would have wanted more but you get the point lol! You can make out large rings of sausage, rice, everything you would find in jambalaya. That joint was bussin with flavor, that I didn't know I needed until that moment in time. When I go back, most likely so. The guy who was at the front of the truck was super nice and super friendly and very inviting. I would definitely like to go back for more. Now just as a precaution, it is a food truck so unless you eat it there some of the things may not hold up in the car ride home depending on how long it takes. For example the French fries were nothing special and I think that they suffered because of all the steam made them soggy. Now I will say there are people out in the parking lot in in the area of the food truck who didn't even wait to get home, they just start smashing the food in the car and at the seat they were sitting at. I understand why because it's going to be hot and fresh right off the gate! Either way, just want to let you know that consideration because fried food doesn't always hold up when it's putting a steam box so keep that in mind. But either way it goes, this was a win."

I decided to cut through the Chevron Food Mart parking lot and, oh look... There's a food truck. You can't just drive by a food truck and not check it out. Especially a nice looking one. It's big."Is it barbeque?""It's barbeque and seafood. Fried Salmon's on the menu?""Yup, sure looks like it. Oof, they've got a $15 burger. Sounds stiff but, if it's good, it could be worth it.""Are we doing this?""Yeah sure."We opted for the old reliables. Rib tips. Green beans. Fried okra. $18. The service was so nice, and convincing, that we got a $5 lemonade too.Once we got back in the car we cracked our meal open. There was a 15 minute drive ahead of us to get home and many foods can turn in flavour once they start to cool. We weren't taking any chances. This was pretty food. It looked great. The Rib Tips were sauced. The Green Beans were Italian, flat, light green kind and they were glistening. The Fried Okra were golden brown with flecks of yellow and bits of green show where the breading wasn't completely enveloping the chunks. The lemonade was an atomic, yellow green that gave the impression of a lemon drink rather than actual lemon juice. Our initial taste experiences were varied. The lemonade was fine and definitely had that sweet, drink flavour. The okra was sadly the most disappointing. The fried breading wasn't great with a bitterish... I don't know... sourness?! Great texture but iffy taste. The green beans were definitely good with nice seasoning. I also liked how tender but firm they were. Perfectly cooked. And then, there was the bbq. I only had a small piece but, BOOM(!), instant flavour explosion and an amazing tenderness. I hoped it would be just as good once we got home and it'd cooled a bit more. Our drive home was eager, energetic and legal. Left and right turn signals were used. Reasonable distances between cars were maintained. Speed limits were respected... mostly.Having arrived at home I found myself starving from the aroma in the car.The green beans maintained their overall integrity and I happily downed them with my meal. The okra turned out to be a mixed bag in the end. I popped a couple in my mouth and found the drop in temperature had only made them worse, like much, much worse. BUT, then I peeled the breading off and BAM, delicious okra. I mean really good okra. Not, 'hey you should buy this and remove the breading' good, but still, it was good okra with a nice firmness too. I finished the green beans and happily snacked on the de-breaded okra for the rest of the afternoon. And we're back to the actual BBQ Rib Tips and I have to say...Goodness gracious me oh my! That's good barbeque!!!This is some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted and as it cooled the flavours coalesced even further. The flavour blend is truly unique and makes this meat stand out. It tasted so good that I also had to give it a visual inspection.I scraped away the delicious and generous layer of BBQ sauce and observed where the meat was cut. I don't know how they season their meat but you can see a marbling in the meat from seasoning that I can only imagine came from long term marinating or injection. The flavours of the meat are also different from the BBQ sauce so they are both uniquely delicious. You've got to try this people. Prove me wrong! So ends this tale of culinary adventure which took days to type because the Yelp app can get fussy (I'm not throwing shade but... yeah, I am). In closing, I'll say the BBQ meat portion was quite generous so we were able to come back to it for dinner and some breakfast for me too (it's really good cold from the fridge too). And finally...BRAVO. BRAVO. BRA-VO!We shall return."
