"This was my first time at this restaurant, and I'm glad that we decided to dine here. The restaurant has a nice full stocked bar, many items to choose for your seafood boil. The restaurant is clean and the employees are very pleasant. Jolene was our waitress, and she was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a half pound shrimp and no head, 3 eggs, a potato and corn. My husband ordered Combo A, which is sausage, a half pound of snow crab legs, half pound of shrimp with no head, corn and a potato. We also ordered cheese sticks, blue moon beer and a strawberry lemonade. Everything was hot and delicious. If we're in the area, we may stop by and order."
"The fish is cooked awesomely a d not hard which is a plus. The fried green tomatoes were amazing. Ask for the tiziki sauce to dip them in. My new tab fish place in Atlanta area. And to actually sell red snapper as a choice umongst many others to choose is just goshly darned superb."
"Food was great!! I had the snow crab legs with shrimp, sausage and potatoes. The sausage was spicy which was a problem for a self proclaimed spice wimp like me!! I got plenty of food for my money and the food was seasoned and flavorful."
"Love B & B! Their food is really good and their wings are a nice size. Not those little American Deli wings. I call ahead and my order is always ready. The cakes are AMAZING also! I've always dealt with who I believe to be the owner. Very nice, professional man.Support your minority owned businesses! I would highly recommend B & B."
"I've been going to Summit for like the past 5 years. Whenever I'm in Lithonia I can't help but stop by for that delicious catfish! I've never had their wings b/c I don't eat poultry but everyone enjoys the wings as well. This is DEFINITELY a must stop for any ATLIEN!"
"Fried whiting and wings cooked to order. Nothing better than fresh, hot fried food! Ameen's is always a good choice!"
"Update: I tried the grouper and wings without asking for them crispy, blunder on my part. Also tried the flounder and it was perfecto without being crispy, it is a thinner filet than the grouper. Fries this time were a thicker cut and were still just ok. My fried okra wasn't as crispy. So the key for me is to get grouper, wings, and okra fried crispy and the snapper and flounder I can do without those being crispy. The seasoning was still the best although a little heavy this time. This will still be my go to place for fish."
"The best fried and flakey fish, the crunchiest octopus accompanied by pickled red peppers and onions, crispy shallots and chickpeas in a vinegary sauce and my new favorite oysters! This place really was a great choice. It was almost empty when we sat down, but that didn't deter us, and we were so glad that we did. And not soon after, the place filled up! The service was fantastic, and the food blew us away. We tried 4 different types of oysters, and one was clearly our fave, we ordered a second round! Sassy oysters from Prince Edward Island are THE BEST!"
"Wheelhouse Pub is ok with me. We stopped in not expecting much but a few decent drinks and some small bites but after looking at other reviews we decided to try the menu. Maken cheese balls for starters, they need salt but they get an A for effort. The fish was cod. A very generous portion fried to perfection, accompanied with fries. The fish tacos were very tasty also. My baked potato could have been a little more "loaded" but all and all no complaints. A small private parking lot is here but I can't help to wonder what the situation is when they get a big crowd. Service was great. Thanks Mandy"

The opposite of lazy! Service was stellar from entry to exit! Parking lot had ample parking, gratis, and no wait to be seated even though we went last Saturday evening @ 7:30. Our server Kelvin was pleasant and greeted us upon being seated. He advised on specials and took our drink orders as we explored menu.Seafood was paramount as expected - appetizers, in meals, select own combos and fried. There was also wings and other items offered. We selected combos, dungeoness crabs and shrimp with no heads for me and snow crabs, headless shrimp and extra eggs for my companion. Combinations come with a potato and corn and choice of sauce. Selected the lazy crab sauce which was a garlic- Cajun mixture in a medium version. Hot was selected by my companion with same mixture. Food came up quickly and was very good. Kelvin was attentive and checked on us often. Really impressed with great service. There are weekday specials on drinks per signage on table.

I'm not sure why this place has such low ratings. I got the plate with snapper and catfish and it was GOOD. Fried perfectly, not too salty, nice sized pieces. The fries were good...I just wish there were more. The customer service was also good which is always a plus. I'll definitely be coming back.

I've ordered from Krab Kingz three or four times. I tend to order the same thing: The fish and shrimp platter. It consists of two catfish filets (or three strips of whiting), 10 pieces of shrimp, fries, and a portion of corn on the cob. Before taxes, it costs $26.11. Even though I don't live far from this restaurant, I've always had my food delivered through Uber Eats. I wasn't expecting much the first time I ordered from them, but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality has been consistent every time. The portions were large and seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm getting hungry just writing about it. I usually can't eat the whole meal at once because it's so much food. I have no complaints at all with any of my orders, though I did have issues with the Uber Eats delivery person the last time. But that's not Krab Kingz fault. I'm rating them a five. Oh, Krab Kingz is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. But Wednesday - Sunday, it opens at 11:30 am and stays open until either 9 or 10 pm.

I had a taste for some real homestyle fried fish...not the kind from a chain restaurant. I wanted something different. After doing a little research, I decided that I would try B&B Fish & Wings.I would always see this place when I would visit another restaurant in the area, but I never thought about going until now.I decided to call in my order because I didn't feel like waiting. The first issue was their phone itself. The first time I called, someone picked up, then hung up. I called again, and this time it sounded like a fax machine. Just as I was about to hang up, and try for the 3rd and final time, someone actually answered.I placed my order for a whiting dinner with French fries with the lady who answered the phone. Now here's the thing... the lady told me that it would take 10 minutes, and was going to hang up the phone without getting my name for the order! I literally had to ask her if she needed my name! "You can give me your name" she says. Ookaayy...So, B&B Fish & Wings is located at the Kroger shopping plaza. The sign at the top of its suite simply says Fish & Wings.I noticed that there were a lot of people going in and out, so that let me know that the food was potentially good.I walked inside, and noticed that they had a dining area with a tv. I didn't see a place to pick up orders, so I just stood in line, and waited my turn.I noticed that they had a nice display of sliced cakes on the counter that I must try the next time. It looked devine. The pick up process was pretty standard...I let the gentleman know that I placed a phone order. He retrieved my order. I paid. I received. No issue there. So, I get to my car, and my fish does not smell like fish. It smelled like boiled shrimp. I hate shrimp, so I thought I better check my food before I left the parking lot.I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 big pieces of fish, 2 hushpuppies, and crinkle cut fries. The food looked good, but smelled off. I prayed the whole way home that the food would taste good.My prayers were answered! Overall, the food was amazing. The fish was fried well, and perfectly seasoned. The fries were good, but it didn't have enough seasoning. I added more salt, and it was perfect! The hushpuppies were too small, but delicious with bits of corn in them. I'm glad I found a place in the area where I can go to get some good fried fish! Mission accomplished!

I love this place, it's clean the food tastes fresh and they make it quickly. I usually order ahead and it usually takes them 10-15 minutes tops. I don't know how long they've been open but since I've found them they are one of my main go to spots. Their salads are great! So fresh like it was made the same day and the put everything on it. Tomatoes, onions, shredded cheese, cucumber etc. Love them!!

Who changed the recipe for the hush puppies? They were horrible! My fish was very overcooked and chewy as well. I'm really disappointed because this was my go to place for fish.

This place is pretty delicious. We went for lunch and had the catfish sandwich and hot honey wings. Everything came out hot and fresh. It was tasty and tempting!!! We definitely recommend trying this place if you are in the area.

This is a review strictly focused on the Catfish Bahn mi salad because that's all that I get here. I rate it highly because these aren't ingredients I love but all together it slaps. It also feels healthier than a sandwich. It's a perfect perfect panko crusted piece or two of catfish over a salad of what would normally be in a Bahn mi Sandwhich: red onions, red cabbage, mint, basil, cilantro, carrots, peanuts with a jalapeño fish sauce vinaigrette. Shit just works and with catfish I'm big on no fishy ass skin; that panko crust is so good I don't care even when there is a lil skin.

"A national treasure of a business. I try to stay away from fried foods these days, Lord knows I do... BUT. A craving is a craving. And recently I found myself craving some fried fish and wings, and I only wanted them from JJ's. So that's just what I made happen. With so many locations around the city, this location was closest to me at the time. I decided to order online and it was such a smooth process! I ordered and scheduled my pickup time for about 10-15 minutes later. Located in a plaza next to a gas station, this place was on swole lol. It was super easy to get a parking space out front though and there were a number of spots still open on the side of the building. Now, there was a lot going on in that parking lot but to me, like the guy selling toilet paper packs and body wash lol, that just showed me that I was in the right place. The interior of the restaurant may not be much to see, but it isn't made to be a seated dining establishment. There are no chairs, just ample open space, a kitchen you can look into, a table where you can season your food, a table full of condiments and a bathroom in the back. That's it, and that's all they need tbh. There were about 10 other folks inside and everyone was patiently awaiting their orders. The menus were on display and super easy to read if you didn't know what you wanted to order. Lucky for me, I ordered in advance so I stepped into the 2nd line to pay. The checkout process was super smooth and I was given a number + a ticket, and told to listen up for my number. I feel like I only spent about 6-8 minutes waiting for my food as I people-watched and looked at the wall art that looks like it was fresh out of '91 lol. I was listening for my number and didn't hear it. Luckily, I was looking towards the kitchen and the gentleman who was calling numbers looked me directly in my face after calling a number and motioned for me to come over. I swear he didn't say my number but I went over anyways, lol. Low and behold, it was my order! How did he know it was me? lol. He gave me the biggest smile and reassured me that it was my order, making sure that I saw where to get condiments to go. I ordered a catfish + 3 wing combo and swapped out the fries for fried okra and baby. WOW. What do they put in that batter?! I added extra seasoning on the way out (because, duh! You can't leave without a little extra) and I swear that I'll never get tired of that flavor. I've had JJ Fish & Chicken a number of times but I think this was my best yet. Portions were plentiful, the food was incredibly fresh and stayed hot for my entire drive. The fish was perfectly fried and flavorful, super crunchy. The okra pieces were huge and the wings were not little baby pieces like I often come across these days. I really can't rave enough about this location!"
"Stopped by after hearing about this place for the past few weeks. Got the Blu Water Shrimp and the Shrimp & Fries. I really wanted to try the Geechee Girl Plate which was this week's special. It had fried catfish, collards, and sweet potato soufflé. Next time. The special sauce on the Blu Water Shrimp was delicious. It had an ever so slight kick at the end. The fried shrimp was lightly breaded and delicious. The fries were good too. Good size portion, especially for a food truck; that's well appreciated. The service was nice and friendly as well. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying some of the specials."
"I ordered The Tilapia and Fries Dinner / Meal this is my 2nd time ordering . Food was Fresh no Fishy taste nor smell. Even the French Fries were good . Despite not getting any Tarter Sauce I had red vinegar"
"Formerly known as Yasim's this location is now under new ownership. Imagine making the dream come true on MLK DR and operating a good honest establishment for business feeding your commuting quality fish. This place has captured and capitalized on this opportunity. They have a variety of in season fish on the menu. Clean restroom for patrons only and a friendly staff from cook to cashier. Orders are cooked fresh so be prepared to wait 7 minutes depending on your choices. Naw'ameen!!?"
"This place is located in the sam plaza as a gas station. The food here is good and they have parking. They are connected to a liquor store. This place is small, but the food was good. We ordered our food and we waited about 10-15 min for it to be made. They had a variety of fried items to pick from. Such as chicken gizzards, chicken wings, and other fried items. They had a variety of meals. I picked the chicken wing dinner it came with 3 wings and some fries. They have other sides to chose from as well. This place was good"
"I went here on Christmas Eve because literally NOTHING else on Moreland was open except fast food. It seemed I wasn't the only one stuck with this option as they were pretty busy...busier than I've seen.Parking was kinda messy because they have a very small lot behind the building and they were pretty much full, including douchebags they decided to park in two spaces, causing people to make their own spots/block in others. Not this place's fault so no stars lost for same.Menu - the menu was really boring and typical "wings and rice" combos that are all over ATL. They had a sign up of a list of items they no longer carry, which seemed longer than the list they do.The cashier was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The value for the money wasn't terrible, but it was just average. Nothing to rave about. Nothing to complain about. Will I go again? I won't make it a point to do so. Wing House on Boulevard is WAY better for a wings and rice combo."
"The service at the place was top notch. Not the environment it is in is not the best . The food tho is fairly price and is good . I did like the rice and my cheese steak egg rolls more then the gyro unfortunately but overall very decent spot"
"Food: Cooked to perfection; this spot is really on to something Service: Quick & not so friend thoughAmbience: None: order to go please & thank youChicken filet & shrimp combo was delicious & what is this sprinkled it's made my night!"
"Wanted to try AJ's, and finally got a chance to. Had fish and chicken. The whole wings were good, fries were basic, fish was average at best. Overall, it was OK..."
"Clean, excellent service, respectful great location consistent flavor. Variety on menu. Everything taste good. Formerly Yasin's this fish hub gets down to business when it cone to preparations and service. They close late so you can get that late night fix when you are craving the crispiness of light tender fish mashed between two pieces of bread and hot sauce."
"My new favorite place to get wings on the South side. Wings are always hot and crispy. Nice sized and the fried rice is good! I love the fresh not overly cooked veggies in the rice. I only wish they offered Cajun as a flavor. I haven't tried anything but fries and wings and fried rice."
