"Located in Jonesboro, I kept seeing this place come up in searches for food, but was hesitant because there weren't a lot of reviews. Finally tried it, food was GOOD! It was everything we needed for dinner Sunday night. Turkey leg was cooked properly and the fried pork chops weren't dry. Everything was seasoned well. They also have fried corn on the cob (yes, they fried it). Staff was extremely friendly and service was very good. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody in the neighborhood."

"So it's Saturday brunch day again, I'm not interested in Waffle House again. I've seen this place come up on Yelp when I was searching the area but never got around to coming over here until today. Passed Demtris Restaurant on my here, their parking lot was a bit full. Since I was doing a walk-in I was a bit worried about how my experience was going to go. Westside is located in the Covington Place shopping center. Fairly medium-sized establishment I was greeted from the time I walked in, There was only one waitress and the cook on the line. The waitress seemed a bit confused. She let me know that she was new, so I gave her a pass, Got the country-fried steak with gravy and eggs. There was one other couple in the place besides me. got my food to go and the waitress assured me that this was going to be the best breakfast I've had in my life and they have customers that come back daily to get their food. Got home and strapped myself in for this life-changing experience. Sadly to say my life remains unchanged at least from a food perspective. The steak was Okay, I was hoping it would be fantastic since I haven't had a good country fried steak in a long while. Westside is going to have to step up it's game if it wants to compete with Demtris on this side of town."

"Probably the most gluten free friendly restaurant I have ever been to. Their entire menu is gluten free and their staff is super knowledgeable about allergens and what's really in the food. I came here for late lunch and Aja was our wonderful server who made excellent recommendations. The turkey feta meatballs and the involtini were definitely my favorite dishes here. We also ordered the truffled fungi pizza, which was vegan and gluten free. I was a bit hesitant but it surprised me and was super delicious. Overall, a wonderful meal with great service and they even have a lovely patio area. I can't wait to make another visit to Mediterranea soon"

In short, it slappps!!!This is located right in the same plaza as my waxing place so I was like, "Hey, i've seen this place here for 2+ years.. let me just see what the fuss is about" BEST decision ever! Walking in, you'll need to get in line, think.. Chipotle style. No seating and there are some "ready" food items, like ribs, ox tail and the "to order" items like fried fish. I order the "ready" items but seems like the "to order" items did not take long as well.SERVICE:: there was a very nice man taking our order by the front of the line, super nice staff, cashier was super nice too. just be sure to check your bag prior to leaving so you can make sure you get all your items because they are so busy in thereFOOD::Ox Tail - massive portion, over a bed of rice, which they didnt mention on the menu! flavor was so rich and decedant. Must order!! Ribs - not the most tender i've ever had however the bbq sauce flavor is so finger licking good and was priced fairly. Broc. Chedder Side- so cheesy, so yummy. "This was absolutely the best meal we had while staying in Atlanta. It's a very unique take on Cajun food that is mouth watering. The service was personable and incredible even though we took ours to go. The salmon and shrimp were perfectly prepared and the pasta and rice done just right. The Cajun drizzle was incredible and made these dishes worth every cent. You are lucky Atlanta, to have this as a meal option in your area. I sure hope they open one in Denver someday soon."

"They have their location in Austell and a ghost kitchen in Decatur. I went to their original location in Austell, it is take out only so if you live far be prepared to eat in or on your car. I got the peaches and cream waffle with the hot honey chicken tenders. Everything tasted really good and it was full of flavor. It was a lot of food so I ended up sharing it."

"This is a cool little upscale corner bar. They have an indoor and outdoor situation so on a nice day this is clutch. He's in a hotel so you have all the hotel vibes, a nice lobby even a fireplace. So if you wanted to sit at the bar that's fine, if you want to sit at the restaurant part that's fine, or if you wanted to go probably to the lobby which is right on the other side of the wall, that's also fine too. You'll have good views no matter where you sit in this establishment.I've only ever sat at the bar so if you get to the bar you'll get pretty good service so I would suggest doing that. You got a menu that is page is long full of whiskey and then some other stuff. But if you want whiskey or bourbon, this is a spot. Of course they have an assortment of other cocktails, but it's a whiskey bar so you have to keep in mind that that is their bread and butter.I got an old fashioned kind of situation of course. But I feel like if you want to find a whiskey, if you can't find it here, you may not be able to find anywhere!"

"I came for lunch through the week, so it wasn't busy at all, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Service was also excellent! The pork chops were very tender. The chopped steak with gravy was also really good. Mac and cheese, turnip greens, mashed potatoes, all were good and tasted home made. Cornbread and biscuits were warmed up for later, they were ok...probably better hot and fresh. Would definitely return for other dishes!"

"This was certainly an experience I will remember for a long time! My husband and I are not cigar people but we came here during our trip to Atlanta and by the end of the night I felt like a pro. We were very much out of place as was apparent to ourselves and every other person in the building. Still, the staff was all very nice and welcoming. It seemed like everyone knew each other, and people would go around to different tables chatting and smoking cigars. It was a really nice community, neighborhood feel.My husband picked out a cigar and they came over and lit it for us. The cigar service was great, but the food service was rather hectic. Everything took forever, especially our drinks. We had to ask for water, silverware, plates, everything. It was fine because the cigar kept us busy, but I was absolutely so lightheaded after a while of smoking it and not eating anything. The food though was delicious. I had so many wings while I was in Atlanta and these were top two of the best. Hands down, easily the best quality of meat of any of the wings I had. Super flavorful and crispy. The crispy chicken sandwiches looked popular so we ordered those too. They were good but I liked the wings better. We had some sort of pink margarita that was just delicious as well. I think it was guava or passionfruit or something. One man who was there by himself started chatting with us about our drinks and then he ordered one as well and seemed to love it. I will say that it was very difficult to find and we walked past it twice before realizing, but that is probably on purpose to keep tourists like us out. Nevertheless she persisted and I'm glad we did!"

"Most people would be surprised to learn that although Atlanta is in the south, there aren't a lot of great southern restaurants here (in my opinion). Yes, there are a lot of southern/soul food restaurants around. I just haven't had great experiences at many. Magnolia Room is located in Tucker which is in the metro Atlanta area. I was very impressed by my first visit. We were greeted with smiles by all of the staff that we encountered. The restaurant is set up cafeteria style and they have quite a few options. We arrived after the lunch rush and they weren't too busy. I ordered the Salisbury steak, candied yams and macaroni and cheese. I also added a piece of fried catfish. Y'all, there are definitely some grandmas in the back cooking because that food was delicious. I sampled my mom's collard greens and they were some of the best I've had in a long time. The catfish was fried perfectly and the yams were just right. Everything was seasoned very well except the Mac and cheese. It was good, but could've benefited from some extra seasoning. My mom, who is a great cook enjoyed her food as well.We had a great first experience and I'm looking forward to returning."

"Visited in February 2019. Farmer's Basket is located in an upscale mall in Atlanta, in the downstairs food court. Think of it like a Panda Express for Southern food. There were a lot of fried food choices, however, they also had a bunch of choices that were "healthy-ish" included collard greens. I like to try different foods when I'm in different areas of the country, and this place was my attempt at finding something unique to the region. The reason I went here over the other big national food chain places was because it had the longest line of local looking people. They know what's up."

It's absolutely lovely inside, was quiet so we could converse easily - and our server was an absolute sweetheart.We were kind of bummed there was no fried chicken on menu at lunchtime as that's what we were craving. So we got sandwiches instead & they offered to make my chicken sandwich fried instead of grilled which was good.Ordered a kale salad coz after a few days of Southern eating my body was screaming for vegetables- but the salad has SO MUCH cheese and dressing I could not finish it. Anyways we both enjoyed the sandwiches and polished off completely.Hotel staff were nice and got good shot as I asked them to take a photo of us by the "There lies a Lion in every Southern Heart" sign."

"Came because this place was reccomended to me by a bartender in nyc. This place has been around for years but I hadn't heard of it prior. I arrived on a Friday evening. There was a pretty large crowd but still plenty of seats. I grabbed a cocktail and chilled for a bit on the patio. It was a nice vibe and we were able to bar hop to easily to other spots in the area. I would definitely go back."

"Discovered MetroWest on IG upon realizing they are owned by the couple who recently launched PO5 in College Park. The energy that is exuded from their social media pages, makes you want to support! The food was freshly prepared upon ordering(kiosk) and worth the wait. We ordered 2 catfish & fries, and 1 catfish/shrimp and fries. I do wish you could select a different side, as I wanted to try the greens or mac n cheese. There is a sign that says no substitutions, so fries it was. The fries are your basic frozen variety. The catfish was freshly fried, and was tasty. Cold lemonade accompanied each box. The service is exceptional at MetroWest, as the owner takes pride in what his business brings to the community. We look forward to returning to try the salmon Philly next!"

"I stopped by Luda's Chicken and Beer while I was in the ATL airport waiting on my flight to Dallas. The brother Rodney that greeted me was very friendly (1st impressions are everything). I wasn't hungry so I decided to try the Pinot Gris which if you know anything about wine, is made from the same type of grapes as Pinot Grigio, but the grapes come from a different parts of the world. Anyways.... Back to my review on the establishment. LolI cant speak on the food, as I didn't have an appetite, but the service was great & each table has its own outlet for charging devices. The food that I saw in neighboring tables looked delicious, but you'll just have to check it out and see for yourself. Ask for "Rodney," if you want superb service."
