Adina S. "This place is legit! I was killing some time downtown and stopped by The Vortex. The inside was dark and decorated with all sorts of crazy memorabilia. I actually decided to sit outside, so I could people watch. If you sit outside, just be warned that your service might be a bit slower. As for food, their menu looked inside. They had a ton of interesting burger options, but I went for the 50/50 Chili (half beef, half turkey). The chili had a nice flavor to it and it came with some kind of cornbread on the side. Solid spot!"

Stephanie G. "Sublime donuts are a must get every time I'm on this part of town. They're it your typical glazed donuts with sprinkles - these are the real deal. The 3 flavors I always get are peach fritter, strawberries and cream, and Reese's peanut butter cups. The donuts have a nice chew and not too sweet for my liking. But of these 3, my absolute fave is the Reese's peanut butter cup. The middle of the donut has the peanut butter filling and glazed with chocolate, topped with pieces of peanut butter cup. They have some seating inside. They also offer coffee and have a fridge with water, milk and juice. Their donut price ranges from $2.50-$2.75 I believe. Best part about this place? It's open 24 hours. Get a donut craving at 4 am? Need a little pick me up after working late or while studying? Sublime is the spot."

The restaurant has wonderful interior, a huge bar, bunch of very well decorated booths. The menu is full of interesting dishes. I got the naked burger that had a bison paddy. It was a delicious burger. The bison tasted so good with melted cheese and all the other ingredients of the burger. We liked the huge crab cakes and citrusy lemonade. They have a small kids menu as well. Chicken fingers and fries were good. Service was excellent. Our server was so nice. Food came out within a decent time. Overall this is a great place to dine with family."

The cheese steak tastes great and has candied jalapenos in it. The perfect balance of sweet and heat. The bread is extremely soft on the inside. The fries are loaded with BBQ seasoning and taste amazing. The white sauce tastes just like mayo. Other - You have to pay for parking and walk to the food hall. There is a lot of traffic in the area. Not many places to sit. They only have bottled drinks and water."

I love the 3-in-1 drink cup, and an order of hotzarella cheese sticks. If I'm feeling fancy or a little chubbs, I'll have the Piedmont salad. I've never had a food item that was terrible, so I don't think you can go wrong. The food isn't fancy, but it's solid and you won't have any disappointing surprises. Service is fast and easy-going. Be ready to order and let them keep it moving. If you wait to go after an event, be prepared for the crowd. Park Bar is a favorite and finding a seat in the later hours won't be easy. But there will be plenty of people to start a conversation with while you wait! :-)"

We ordered two classic burgers with all the toppings that usually come on it, fries and tater tots. They ask where you want to sit and bring it out to you! We sat at the picnic tables and not even five minutes later, the food was brought out. Super fast service! The burger was so good, soft and pillowy bun, great sauce and the meat was seasoned well. The seasoning on the fries were great and paired so well with the sauce. The tater tots were crispy and great. We also got the chance to meet the owner, he was super friendly and came around to ask everyone if they were enjoying their meals. I will 100% be back and I even heard him say they will be bringing more things to the menu, can't wait to try and hint: even milkshakes!!!"

My company secured a block of rooms at a nearby hotel and the food selections around here were meager at best. Meehan's was one of the few solid choices and they really delivered for me. The place was packed but I grabbed a seat at the bar and the two bartenders were busting their asses all shift pulling drinks and serving food to the counter dwellers. I had a nice black n tan and a huge plate of Shepherds Pie. Both were excellent as was the service."

Erica E. "Wow. I can't believe I took so long to visit this spot. Let me start by saying... this is one of the best burgers I have ever had. EVER. I had been saying that I was going to check out one of their locations forever now, but was finally in the Riverdale area after visiting my mechanic and knew it was time. I was starving by the time I pulled into the huge plaza lot that the biz sits in. There were several parking spaces so I assumed that there were not many guests going to be in front of me. When I walked in, I immediately liked the setup. There were beautiful murals dedicated to Atlanta and Atlanta greats on the walls, music, movie posters and more adorning the space. I knew they didn't have indoor dining, but I didn't expect the ordering procedure. Instead of ordering at the counter like most spots, the biz has two machines setup where you can order your own meal with a few taps. I LOVED this process!! I'm indecisive and like being able to take my time to check out the entire menu, play around with my toppings, etc. without holding up the line.I ended up ordering a single burger topped with pepperjack cheese, grilled onions + jalapenos + mushrooms, bacon, and an egg. I also ordered a drink and a side of their cranchy fries + extra sauces. About 5min or so after ordering, I was given a drink cup and I feel like maybe I waited 10-15min in total for my order. It didn't feel long at all, I may be adding on a few minutes BUT either way, any minute was worth it. I could see and smell them preparing my meal from scratch in the back, it smelled SO good in there! After that little wait time, a young lady came from the back and handed me my food.I won't lie friends. That meal didn't even make it out of the parking lot. I was praying that people driving by didn't see me scarfing that baby down. It was all so fresh! I tackled the fries first. I liked them, but think that I'll go with another flavor next time but let me tell you, they were yummy, super fresh, and they were super generous about the seasoning. I went for 24K sauce and the remoulade to dunk my fries in. The 24K is seriously GOLD and I'd like 3 bottles of it. The remoulade wasn't my vibe. Now, onto my burger. The bun was the first impression and what an impact it made. It was so soft and buttery, biting into it was heavenly. My burger was so delicious!! The toppings were plentiful, it was hot and fresh, the portions were amazing. I seriously can't express how much I enjoyed my meal and the experience. Can't wait to return!"

I came around noon on a weekday and it was about a 15 minute wait with an online order,  this place wasn't busy inside but customers were frequently coming to pick up their To-go orders. Definitely recommend placing the order online if you're in a rush. There is no seating inside or outside so be prepared to eat in your car or drive home. I had a 20 minute drive home and the burger was still fresh, hot and so yummy. Service - everyone I interacted with was friendly. Even while they were working the grill they still acknowledged you. Bag was packed with napkins and ketchup. Food - I had the impossible burger and my oh my it was so GOOD..... it was seasoned like a home cooked burger on the grill, and had so much flavor. Best veggie burger OTP!! I like that I could personalize it because it was perfection. I had the Cajun crinkled fries and thought they were okay, they looked like they were going to be fire but something was missing.  I had to dip it in the sauce for extra flavor. They also have items for pescaterians, vegans, and of course,  carnivores. They have two locations in Atlanta so I'm definitely planning on returning soon to try some of their other vegetarian items."

Maken cheese balls for starters, they need salt but they get an A for effort. The fish was cod. A very generous portion fried to perfection, accompanied with fries. The fish tacos were very tasty also. My baked potato could have been a little more "loaded" but all and all no complaints. Drove pass today and it's like 30 cars in the parking lot and the outdoor seating area is packed so I pulled in. The line was out the door and strangely enough it doesn't smell like fish. Like most places the DoorDash prices and the in store prices range about $5-6 different. I got the fish combo which comes with 3pieces of fish, five shrimp, hush puppies and fries. It was phenomenal. That memory alone brought me back years later. I ordered my food to go because it was about 8:30/9 on a Saturday so it was already lit. I ordered 10 Buffalo Wings ($14), curly fries ($4) and the Pablo Crusted Age Cheddar Mac ($6). Given that I called and ordered, I can't really give an exact time it was done but once I got there it was ready and seemed to be ready for a minute before I got there. Once I got back home to eat I was intrigued with how much food I got. The wings were nice in size, there was a huge portion of curly fries and the container my Mac came in was huge. The Buffalo wings weren't as spicy as I would've liked but the size of them made up for it. They were cooked very well. If they were a bit more spicy I would've gave them a perfect rating. The curly fries were delicious. Crispy, seasoned just right and it was a lot of them! I thoroughly enjoyed the Mac. The crusted age cheddar was just the beginning. Once i took a spoonful/ bite into the Mac I was introduced to that rich and flavorful cheddar cheese which was seasoned and hot. All in all, Flatiron has some amazing food and seems like a vibe inside the restaurant/ bar as well. I'll be back to get an experience inside next time."
