I will say that the service disappeared after we received our plates.Prices were normal for the times ... though a $4 coffee and a $4 bottled water was shocking.The food, though, was amazing. Loved the chicken in waffles .. well seasoned, good coating. The waffles were crunchy outside and cakes inside .. perfect consistency. The souther breakfast has traditional eggs, meat, bread, and grits. Smooth grits with just the right amount of salt and smothered in cheddar cheese. I did request over medium eggs but received over easy. Definitely recommend this restaurant!"

"Canoe is an Atlanta staple for a reason. The location is great, food consistent, and service attentive. I stopped by for dinner most recently(probably recommend doing brunch as a first go here), and enjoyed a quiet evening. We started with drinks on the patio by the river(river bar isn't opened everyday so call ahead if you want to sit there). Then went inside for dinner. Reservations are a must! We enjoyed the smoked salmon and kangaroo to start. Then I had the duck dinner which was cooked perfectly."

"10/10 experience during my Saturday Brunch. Don't be alarmed by the wait as the staff does a great job with turning tables quickly without rushing diners. I was able to be seated right after arrival. Despite there not being a host at the stand when I entered - a server came over to greet me and stated someone would be with me shortly. Kudos to him for being attentive to his tables and also all other guests I didn't get his name but, he did have nice locs.Once greeted and seated , Bre, came over to explain the specials for the day as well as take my order if I was ready. I took her advice and ordered the Pomegranate Juice, Catfish and Grits, biscuit and, side of cheese eggs. Be mindful that no alcoholic drinks are served at the establishment but, their juices are absolutely delicious and refreshing. The food came out hot and fresh maybe 10 minutes after I ordered. The portion size where great for the cost and I wish I had enough stomach room to have finish the entire plate. Once again, I highly recommend you fine here. Enjoy good food, soulful house music and, great customer service."

"I have dined here multiple times and had a great experience consistently. If you're coming for brunch on Sunday just know they don't serve alcohol until noon per state law! I've tried their challah french toast with berries, caramelized banana bread french toast, fried green tomatoes, and short rib hash. Every time I eat here the food has been delicious and they give generous portions. Things do get a little hectic there since it's a popular cafe so I recommend going early or after the brunch rush. This will definitely be a go-to breakfast spot for me!"

"Such a gem. I love the ambiance of this place. There was a dresser / drawer as soon as you walk in and it's such a statement piece. I ordered the special omelet they had with mushroom, cheese, and bacon. I'm not a fan of omelets but this one was delicious. It also came with two sides so I ordered more bacon and potatoes. It was definitely more than enough. My friend and I stayed here for more than 90 minutes just catching up and we didn't feel rushed to go. We did get here around 9 and it wasn't busy. Def got busy towards 11, so a heads up. My friend also got the pancakes and it was the best pancakes I've ever had. I also don't like syrup much but this one was perfect. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. YUM. Highly recommend. Will be back."

"My first meal in Atlanta was this hidden gem and I couldn't be happier! The food was absolutely amazing and bursting with flavor. We ordered the Jambalaya, which has rice, chicken, shrimp, and sausage. This meal had so much flavor and had a kick to it! We also ordered the Pasta Yaya, which has shrimp and sausage in creole cream pasta. It was incredibly creamy and delicious. For the full experience, we had to order some dessert. Angie's Bread Pudding melted in my mouth and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The Sweet Punch was indeed sweet, but refreshing from the savory foods. "Absolutely wonderful! We came here on a Tuesday night & loved it. The menu is very extensive, with lots of options for everyone. We started with an appetizer of the tuna tartare & shrimp pastry. Both were good & not too overly filling. I ordered the salmon for my entree & it was cooked very well. Flavors were great. My mom got the lobster pasta & enjoyed it. She mentioned it would be better with a creamy sauce, but overall liked it. For dessert we got two of the ones our waiter recommended. Both were good. One thing about the food was it was wonderful but not the type of food that sits heavy on you. Some restaurants you leave feeling yuck, but this is not one of them. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quaint & upscale. There is valet parking in the back. Our waiter was PHENOMENAL! Niko went over the top to make our first experience here wonderful. He knew the menu through & through but his personality was wonderful. He is one of the best waiters we've ever had in 50+ restaurants we've been to in Atlanta. Highly, highly recommend him! We'll definitely be back!!"

Chicken was flavorful and cooked well. Waffle had a tasty glaze. I also ordered the Gouda grits and braised collared greens. The greens were great! "A true hidden treasure in the heart of midtown!!! My friends and I have hit all usual brunch spots so when we heard about Bab's just a couple blocks from our apartment we had to strike!We were able to walk which was great but they do have a great parking lot out front if you need to drive! We came on a Saturday around 12 and you order at a counter and they bring the food to your table. The man at the register gave us a great over view of the menu. The vibes are adorable and as we sat waiting the staff did a great job keeping our coffee cups full and checking on us! Once the food came, wow!! Delicious food hit the spot. I got the crunch omelette and most tater tots are mid for me but these were delicious and the omelette was to die for!! Could not have asked for better food and service for brunch in Atlanta."

"This is a great place to order lunch delivery from. I have more than once and the food is always reasonably priced for the huge portions you get. Recently my mom and I ordered the feta cheese pie pocket, beef shawarma plate, and the chicken kabab plate. She really enjoyed her chicken plate. I tried a piece - the chicken was cooked perfectly and moist. As for the beef shawarma plate - the fat will melt in your mouth, and I do not eat fat any other way! The feta cheese pocket was simple but great. If you like cheese, then this is the perfect side item for you. All of the plates here are hefty, so come hungry, share, or expect leftovers. The hummus and pita bread, as well as the other sides that come with the lunch plate are all delicious and seasoned just right. I would highly recommend trying this place if you haven't yet and look forward to hopefully trying more menu items down the road."

Entrance/decor: nicely dressed doorman, valet and staff. Decor is as is from the pictures. Food: we had lamb chops, cauliflower and wings. Enjoyed all of it. I would have preferred the lamb chops a little more tender. My preference. But everything was seasoned and presentation was perfection. And drinks were very good!!!Service: our waiter was phenomenal. I had tons of questions, and she was very patient. It seemed like it was a busy night. There is a lounge upstairs and a private room downstairs. Upstairs was thumping, Dj and vibes was great. I need lessons was the single line that popped in my head when I watched the chef stretch the dough to make the pie. Where I grew up in San Francisco, pizzerias in my neighborhood would stretch and soon that dough to perfection. I too want to learn that phenomenal experience. This restaurant is top notch with a menu to match. The owner takes his quality ingredients along with a side of heart and soul to please your palate. Don't take this step lightly, it's trend setting and more pizzerias should embrace this concept. Better ingredients healthier food is what life evolves around. Why waste time investing in anything less from a business perspective and from a patrons expectations? With multiple locations ITP and OTP, I will definitely be making this one of my go-to spots for breakfast/brunch. There is valet parking but also a parking garage where we were able to park in for free( I think because it was 8am) so I'm not exactly sure what the parking situation is like during peak hours. Anyways, like a true Georgia peach, I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was AMAZING! The chicken was seasoned so well and the waffle was done just right! Light crispy crunch on the outside and pillow-y soft on the inside. I don't know whose grandmama was back there making the food but she definitely put some love into it. On top of the yummy food, The service here was impeccable! All the staff were kind and helpful! Having some fresh fruit cut and peeled appropriately is not nothing, and in a lot of tropical areas (and in NYC, as of recently), this is quite common. Easy check in with hostess who lead us to a high top table, as we did not have reservations. Service was quick and prompt. The Ambiance of the place is good, but looks like a converted house giving it an overall homey feel.We dined during restaurant week and took advantage of the fixed price $35 (2024 price) meal. This included Polpette (meatballs), Tagiloline Bolognese, and Caramellato desert. All were good with Tagiloline Bolognese being my favorite. Other choices are available. Large portion and had leftovers too. We also looked at the normal menu which was slightly more expensive but still reasonable for the value.Valet parking is available. Parking around here can be a hassle, but we parked at the large free lot off of Green Street, which is short stroll to Osteria Mattone. Also dined at their sister restaurant Table and Main, see separate review."

"Good gracious there is Gracious Plenty to save the day. I intended on taking my family to Fellows down the street for brunch and made the mistake of NOT making a reservation. We didn't even park as we drove past and saw the lines outside the door. Yelp came in clutch and pointed me in the direction of Gracious Plenty. It was 2021 when there was really only outdoor dining when eating out - and they had a quaint window to order from. The menu was super basic and straight forward. Options were limited, but to be honest, too many options make it harder for indecisive girls like me to choose just one thing. I started with an iced coffee (because it was the only caffeinated option on the menu) which I quite enjoyed, which makes sense because it's from my favorite Peach Coffee Roasters. I ordered a pimento cheese & bacon & sunny side egg biscuit - I was also tempted by the almond cake which was a perfect accompaniment to my iced coffee, and not too sweet. My parents went with the classic Bruce's Plate to share and my mom was SUPER adamant on ordering an extra side of hash browns, too and she was so pleased with it. Overall, everything I ate was tasty - nothing fancy but a solid breakfast. I'm assuming the menu may have gone back to more of a normal now - otherwise, many of the past items I tried I can make myself!"

"Bread & Butterfly has been on my Atlanta bucket list for ages and while downtown one day, we decided to venture to Inman Park for a late lunch. We don't have a reservation and we had a pup in tow but we were seated on the heated covered patio so we were good to go. How cheesy is it for me to order a French 75 at a French restaurant? Too bad because it was delicious. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely perfection, not just taste but also super photogenic. From the hot and flakey tomato soup with puff pastry to the juicy burger americain, and even a simple buttered baguette with jam. The croque madame was just ok - pretty basic. But still hit the spot. And with all those carbs, ending the perfect meal with a macchiato is, well, perfect. I can't wait to come back to try breakfast or dinner next time!"

My company secured a block of rooms at a nearby hotel and the food selections around here were meager at best. Meehan's was one of the few solid choices and they really delivered for me. The place was packed but I grabbed a seat at the bar and the two bartenders were busting their asses all shift pulling drinks and serving food to the counter dwellers. I had a nice black n tan and a huge plate of Shepherds Pie. Both were excellent as was the service."

The Cuban sandwich had a great taste but it did not come with any mustard on the side. The pork was pulled pork and the ham was deli sliced. Decent but not special. The Golden Latte is amazing. You can taste the cinnamon. The empanada was nicely fried and filled."

I didn't try the food, only the drinks, but looking around, nobody was ordering food anyway! It was only drinks and hookahs all around. But the menu actually looked good though, I will have to give it a chance, but on this occasion, it was libations! The vibe was a hood vibe (which was fine), service was okay, not the best as far as being attentive, but it was okay (had to track my waitress down to pay). But I would give it another shot. It is what you would expect in this type of establishment."

"Every now and then, even after almost 13 years in Atlanta, I come across a spot that is a hidden gem and babeeeeeeeee... Not only is Jack's New York Deli a hidden gem, however, it is the definition of GOOD FOOD!I came across Jack's New York Deli as my little sister wanted to try it as she was on her journey for a Good Pastrami sandwich. Though we don't live anywhere near, we chose a day and went for lunch. Jack's New York Deli sits off a Main Street, however, it's tucked off in the corner. Pay attention to your GPS because if you blink too hard, you may pass it. LoL. Walking in, the establishment is super clean. The all glass front provides an ample source of natural light, and they even have patio seating if you choose to enjoy the weather in full. With a traditional sub shop setup, I took a moment to review the menu, then headed to the counter to place my order. With an abundance of choices, it was soooooooooooooo hard not to order every sandwich that I loved. Yet, with keeping my summer body (ha) in mind, I decided on the Chicken Club and a Salad with extra Feta. Baaaaaabyyyyyyyyyy. Wow. All I can say is, Jack's New York Deli understood the assignment. Quality meat. Fresh fixings. Great portions. Crisp salad. And an amazing dressing. I'm talking a true HIT. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING was a miss. The chicken club presented a moist and perfectly golden boneless breast. Juicy tomato. Crisp lettuce. And, perfectly buttered white bread... This sandwich was bite after bite of robust flavor and texture perfection. Paired with the slice of pickle, the chicken club is a true 10/10. The salad was simple yet still above standard. The ingredients were all fresh and nothing was soggy. The salad wasn't just thrown on the plate, however, appeared to be blended as a salad should and paired with the right amount of dressing for the size of the salad. Another 10/10. Last but not least, the service at Jack's New York Deli was spot on. I was greeted upon entry and the staff was engaging and friendly as I placed my order. At this point we're three for three: Food, Cleanliness, and Service. A total WIN!!!!!!Though I live on the other side of town, don't be surprised if you see me at Jack's New York Deli. Luckily I snagged a place at the bar. Got a coffee. Ordered the breakfast dumplings and then the hash with some eggs over easy on it. OMG both were amazing! The dumplings had a breakfast like sausage in them with a maple syrup on top. The hash had a ton of meat and cheese. Was super filling. Service was great at the bar. Food was amazing. We were created by friendly smiling faces for 2 of our 3 mornings in Stone Mountain because we enjoyed Huskers Cafe THAT much. Good coffee, good food, good people- what more could you ask for? The restaurant is located in a strip mall and is a pretty nice and inviting place inside! They serve breakfast and lunch (not sure about dinner). I had their chicken and waffle for my first time there and had the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit the 2nd trip there. The chicken and waffle were great! The chicken was breaded, seasoned, and cooked to perfection and with the waffle and syrup was a perfect pairing! Their syrup comes out in preheated bottles which is a nice touch. Their syrup isn't as sweet as I am accustomed to so keep that in mind. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was amazing. Biscuit is moist and buttery but held its own on the sandwich."
