I've been to the butcher shop located in the same plaza before, but never noticed Taqueria El Vecino. They have a small patio and dining area, but I opted to sit at the bar. Luckily I came on a Tuesday when all tacos are $3.50. I ordered a Texas margarita that was good. I also got an assortment of tacos including carne asada, al pastor and Baja fish. All of the tacos were delicious. I also got a side of rice and it was light and fluffy. They have salsa bar that includes a variety of sauces and condiments. The staff was so amazing and checked on me frequently. I enjoyed my meal and look forward to returning."

Greg K. "Love it. This has become my "go to" BBQ place. I have eaten here several times now and tried a few other bbq spots in the area and this is the best easily. This is a classic Georgia bbq spot with indoor and outdoor seating and a fairly limited menu. Don't come here if you don't want bbq. They have pork, ribs, and chicken. Don't expect vegan options. The sauce is a peppery vinegar South Georgia style sauce, no molasses or brown sugar in this sauce. The meat comes nicely smoked and pulled with just a splash of sauce and more sauce on the side. My first couple trips here I stuck with pulled pork and it was good. But now that I have tried the ribs there will be no going back. The ribs are excellent and what put them over the top to 5 stars for me. Alone I would give the pulled pork a solid 4 stars. The stew is good, not perfect, but again a solid 4 out of 5. But those ribs are 5+ all day long. The combination plate is the most expensive thing on the menu at $13.50 and worth every penny. The portions are large. They have sandwiches if you don't want a plate and they are only $3.25. They do serve some adult beverages, but this is no micro brewery pretending to serve bbq, this is real barbecue in the best of Georgia tradition. The only suggestion I could add for the owners is that many bbq places I have visited in south and central Georgia offer a house salad that often comes with a pile of pulled pork on it honestly I would probably never order this, I will stick with the ribs. But I do know people who might. I highly recommend the Old Brick Pit. Enjoy!"

I was craving dim sum today, heard great reviews about their dim sum, and I love that here, you can dim sum anytime any day and it's a food stall! They didn't disappoint! Just order your dim sum at the front from a laminated menu w/ pictures and names but no prices. After paying, just wait for your # to be called to pick up your order - they cook the food-to-order! FYI pay cash - they charge an extra 3% fee for credit card. CHIVES DUMPLINGS - $7 or $8You get 3 good size dumplings, plump with chives and shrimp. They were delicious! I think the dumplings taste good w/ the garlic chili oil - you can pour some at the condiment area, next to the complimentary water station. I would definitely get these again. CHEONG FUN - $7 or $8This is the flat rice noodle roll filled with shrimp - or as the cashier called it, "wet shrimp". FYI there's another Cheong Fun dish served w/ dry shrimp. I appreciated that that shrimp was deveined. This dish was good too, and I liked the sweet sauce w/ it. 3 came w/ this order. I probably wouldn't get it again though. I'd definitely come back - next time I'd like to get their Prawn Dumpling and Chinese Chive Dumpling, my other dim sum favorites. FYI there is a sit-down area but it's usu. pretty packed. And then afterwards, I'd recommend taking a look around the City Farmers Market next door, and Saigon Tofu in the same strip mall for a pretty good selection of Vietnamese takeout."

I got the spicy dashi and off we go to fill our plates. They have so many varieties to choose from. We got plenty of greens: kale, spinach, mushrooms, dumplings, meatballs, fishballs, sweet potato, malanga, kimchi, etc. They also brought out large plates of meat and seafood for us to start. Everything was fresh and delicious. They do limit your time, but we sat there for a while and no one rushed us. We were only able to get 2 plates of meat/seafood before we were full. I would definitely come back just for the AYCE. It was more than enough food to fill me up. We weren't able to eat as much meat as we intended to. But good service and nice selection of food. Nothing over engineered. Rotisserie was juicy and tasty. But between here and kid cashew, I'd say kid cashew's chicken is the winner. Although this rotisserie is more of a 'traditional' variation - meaning, nothing too fancy - a good overall classic. Also, when it comes to side items, this place kicks Kid Cashew's butt haha. I watched a guy at a next table only eat side items (which they have a 'veggie plate'), and I was like - this dude must be vegetarian. NOPE - it's because their side items are good. It's very homey. "It has been a minute since I've been to sweet auburn bbq, I don't know why since it's so good, but it is as good as ever. The jalapeno cornbread basket is still amazing, the fatty brisket is still divine, but I have some new favorites, too. -The smoked wings...these are JUICY, the perfect amount of smokiness, and they do not skimp. These are big healthy wings, about 50/50 flats/drums. My dinner buddy and I split a dozen wings, half wu-tang and half buffalo. The buffalo is awesome, as is the wu tang but I am a sucker for OG buffalo wing flavor. Wings from a bbq joint just are on another tier because of the smokiness. Get these!!!-Char siu ribs--a relatively new addition to the menu. Incredible flavor, so moist, can't sing their praises enough. You literally don't need to add sauce, it's so flavorful on its own.-The green bean side--I would have never thought to get green beans here, it seems really random, but these are some of the best green beans I have ever had in my entire life. I really don't know what they're doing to make them so flavorful. I am not going to let as much time pass next time before a return visit."

Mild Sauce and Barbecue Sauce on the side. The food container is completely wrapped in heavy duty foil to avoid a mess. They included napkins and fork. Thank you because most businesses do not include utensils for take out. The wings were well seasoned not overly salty and very crispy. They were so good. It reminded me of Philly style chicken wings. The rib tips were meaty. Not super tender and not super tough. That was good for me because I like my ribs kind of chewy. I also could tell they were smoke in a grill not oven baked. Real barbecue. We opted for the family pulled pork dinner that feeds 3-4 people, with a large side of baked beans, potato salad and buns. We also ordered one lb of chopped chicken just in case we needed more food. We were underwhelmed when we opened the package but we ended up having leftovers. Their pulled pork was tender but lacked that smoky flavor I want with BBQ. The baked beans was on the sweeter side, but enjoyed the pineapple bits added. Potato salad was nice with crunch from celery/green pepper, I couldn't really tell but wish it had some onion pieces. Because it was almost 9pm, many of the stalls were closing or had already closed, but one of the stalls I immediately came across when entering was Doug's. Given that I frequent The Works often, I knew this spot was fairly new. I walked around and some of my go-tos were closed, so I decided to give Doug's a try. When I walked up, I was immediately greeted. I didn't get the guy's name, but I think his picture is on the sign, so obviously, he's one of the owners lol. He was really cool though! I asked how long they'd been open and he said only a few weeks. He mentioned up front that they were out of baked beans and cole slaw, and I made a comment that I don't like cole slaw anyway, so that was fine. He made a joke and said I wasn't gonna talk about his cole slaw because it was kale-based lol. So he went over to the container and scraped me out the last bit so I could taste it, and it was really good! I gave him his props and told him I'd try it next time.I wound up ordering The 919 Platter - fried whiting fish with two sides, and for my sides, I chose macaroni and cheese and hush puppies. I asked if they had any veggies, but he said the only veggie-adjacent side was the slaw, which they were out of. He told me give him about 10 minutes and my food would be ready. So I walked around again then came back and sat down at the counter. A few minutes later, my food was ready and it looked and smelled SOOOO good! When I got home, I was ready to dive into that plate lol. Y'all. The fish. THE FISH!! It was perfect. Seasoned so well, fried to perfection, perfect portion size, and white bread! Lol the country girl in me LOVES fried fish and this did not disappoint! The hush puppies were standard, solid hush puppies. The mac and cheese, despite being made earlier in the day I'm sure, was still really good - cheesy, seasoned, and all-around solid mac.I tore that food all the way UP, okay?! Lol I can't wait to go back to Doug's and try some of their other dishes. I love that they brand themselves as a healthier alternative to traditional pork-based BBQ, as they offer turkey instead. After executing a search on Yelp, I came across GQ BBQ and we decided to pull up. Y'all know I love me some BBQ. Upon arrival, the location was super to find as it sits on the main road. When pulling into the parking lot there is parking on both sides as well as parking in the back. The outside was clean and vibrant. We knew we were in for a treat as we were able to smell the bbq before even getting to the restaurant. Yes, the power of a good aroma to captivate the sense of smell. Heading inside, the location kept with the vibrant color on the walls as to draw your eyes to the menu. There are ample seating options as well so if you desire to eat in as we did, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Taking some time to review the menu, I decided on the Rib Dinner with Baked Beans, Collards, and I ordered two orders of cornbread as well and decided to not get the white bread that comes with the meal. To note, the cornbread is an extra charge. Once our order was placed, we took a seat and enjoyed the games that were playing on the televisions. As we were engrossed in conversation, before we knew it, our food was ready. I retrieved my plate and headed to my seat. The moment I opened that plate, my entire life smiled. After being enticed by the aromas, I was now overtaken by the visual presentation of this meal. As I opted for the sauce on the side, I was able to see the ribs in their naked state and capture the full fragrance of seasoned pork without the coverings of sauce. Babeeeeeeeeeee, GQ BBQ showed off with this meal. Let's talk the food:Ribs: well seasoned, tender, meaty, minimal gristle, the right amount of fat for a nice chew, great portion size as the dish comes with ribs and rib tips. The sauce was an added layer of joy. I opted to mix their Gresham blend with the Sweet and my mouth had a full mouthgasm of robust flavors, joy, and excitement. These ribs were the absolute bomb with or without the sauce. Baked Beans: perfectly cooked, well seasoned, fresh. Collards: well doctored, tender, perfect pairing for the ribs. Cornbread: absolute gold status, perfectly sweet, cakey with a light crumble, buttery, golden baked, worth the extra cost. The cornbread is slightly small, so I would suggest getting three. LoL. Overall, GQ BBQ was an amazing experience. The ribs dominate the meal as they should, however, the sides compliment the ribs very well. The entire meal is a 10/10 and I will be back very soon for another order. Every option is available to you so why not?Now it got to the point where I was able to access the beef ribs (shaved). If you're expecting real bone in beef ribs it doesn't work that way. The beef from the ribs are shaved and marinaded and I must say, that meat was so good. You didn't even need any of the sauces they give you. They were perfect just the way they are. I also unlocked the garlic butter shrimp. The shrimp is a nice size but I think you nearly have to be a pro to peel those. I had a little trouble peeling them because it seems as though the shells were stuck on the shrimp. However once I did, the shrimp was really good! If you're not a good eater or just going to eat 2 helpings, don't pay that extra price because you will be wasting money. Afterwards you won't be able to justify why you spent $42 with tip included on a meal. The day I went, if It was Ala carte, I probably would have spent close to $70 on everything I had. Driving up to Krave, it is right off the Main Street so you can't miss it. Parking is limited as the lot itself is smaller so I would suggest carpooling if you're in a group. Upon walking in the ambiance is chill yet vibrant. There was an R&B Playlist playing which instantly caught my ear. The style of the decor is simple yet bold. LoL! Let me explain, simple in design, yet bold with the dominance of black as the color stands out with the all glass front and few pops of color. The menu hangs on the wall, I would have loved to have been able to review a paper menu opposed to keeping my neck at an angle while I reviewed the menu, however, there weren't any. As this was my first time at Krave it took me a few moments to fully capture the menu selections. I think my neck was mad at me. I decided on the Chicken Bulgogi Bowl - 12 oz chicken in fruit based soy sauce over rice... The dish is simple by design but elaborate in flavor. The profile fusion of the spice accompanying the fruit based soy sauce is absolutely mouth pleasing. The chicken was moist and flavorful and seasoned with a spice blend that fit the fusion theme of the bowl. The portion was perfect for the price and had enough for me to take some to go. If you're not into spice you can get the bowl regular. My little brother had it that way and enjoyed it as much as I did the spicy. The service is quick and efficient. The young lady at the register was nice and was able to answer the few questions we had. The restaurant was super clean. The tables weren't sticky and the floors were clean as well. Good Food. With that being said...I can't say enough good things about Big Sisters - they are my absolute favorite food spot at the moment. Every single dish I've tried has been unbelievably delicious. Whether it's their flavorful platters or their hearty bowls, this Korean food impresses me in every way. The rich, authentic flavors and the perfect balance of spices make each bite an experience. I've converted several friends to this amazing spot, and they all agree that it's the best Korean food they've ever had. The moment you step in, you can smell the incredible aromas and feel the welcoming atmosphere. I suggest you try their ribs, their beef bulgogi, their teriyaki chicken, their... just try them all!! Ooh oh, their LA Galbi is If you're ever ready to try the best Korean food around, let me know. I'd love to join you with a bowl of their mouth-watering ribs. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! #Rolieats #Foodie #KoreanFood #BigSisters #Yum #MustTry"

Laura T. "I love HH for breakfast. Always get the plate w/ scrambled eggs & cheese, bacon, grits & biscuits. The size of their biscuits varies based on who's making them that day. Today was a good biscuit day. Nice & large. I've never really been a fan of their BBQ except that I do love their Brunswick stew. But based on other reviews, maybe I should give the ribs a try sometime. They're always packed on Saturday which is when we've visited recently. Servers are always nice & attentive. We'll return for sure."
