I visited this place with my friend for lunch. We were greeted and seated, and we're waiting for someone to take the orders for us for more than 10 minutes. Then we were able to place an order, vada for appetizer, and the vegetarian course came in 20 minutes. The goat dum biryani came after 45 minutes of wait time. The vada was tasty but undercooked, Puri and chana Masala was the best dish we had. The biryani was mentioned as dum style, but it was more of a mixed goat curry rice like goat sukka mixed in rice. It was tasty, cooked to perfection, however, did not get the sense of eating a biryani. The quantity was very good. If the place can fix the wait time and attend the customers on time, they can go a long way. I will definitely try to visit one more time, give a second chance, and see how it goes.

New restaurant replacing a previous one that closed during COVID.They specialize in South Indian food so not surprisingly the dosas are good and the sambar is one of the best I have tried - just the right consistency to cling to the dosa when dunked and huge depth of flavor. The tandoori chicken seemed to have their own blend of spices and not made in a tandoor oven. It had a weird taste but not too bad. You can say it was more of a home style baked masala chicken served on a sizzling platter. The boneless chicken biryani had super tender chicken (a pleasant surprise) and flavorful rice. They have other styles of biryani which I plan to try.Unfortunately, they were out of the Crab Chettinad, which I also plan to taste.Service was friendly but you can tell they are still working out the kinks any new restaurant has. I wish them the best and hope business flourishes.Oh - they have vegetarian and non-vegetarian thali on weekends but only for lunch.

I ordered a biryani and asked for fried egg instead of a boiled egg and the person that took my order Kavithra , refused to accommodate this simple request . Even after I offered to pay extra for it , she refused and in return offered me an omelette. Instead of a simple fried egg that takes only a couple minutes. Very bad customer service and rudely spoken employee.

Food took more than 30 minutes to come to the table. We had to ask to get silverware & the rest of our order. Food was as expected but not worth the service.

I actually stopped by here to pick up an order for someone else. When I arrived the order was still being made but the customer service left a good impression on me. I was offered water while I was waiting. And when the order was ready, they also gifted me a mango lassi, on the house. That was exceptional service that is pretty rare to experience. I look forward to coming here in thr future and trying the food and other menu items!

We had a terrible experience at Annam for dinner today. All the items we ordered did not have enough salt and lacked in Flavor . Apollo fish was an absolute disaster.chef should probably get the original recipe for the Apollo fish.Boneless chicken biryani wasn't enjoyable either as the chicken was so dry . Service was ok however staff were not friendly. I personally felt it was waste of time and money spent on this restaurant today .

Lacks consistency in taste and is disappointing most of the times compared to what you tried first time. At least chef should know different dishes mean different flavors and taste. But most of the menu items - chicken appetizer and gravy end up being same with different levels of spice. Kadahi chicken is not same as chicken curry or chettinad chicken. Malai kofta and butter chicken is not same. Chicken 65, chicken 555 are supposed to be different.Puri channa and chole bhature is not same. Paper dosa and plain dosa is not same.

Super authentic and very tasty! This is not the Indian food you'll get in the mall food court, but if you're looking for well prepared South Indian cuisine, Annam is the place to go. The friendly staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you know more about the food. Located in a shopping center, Annam is clean and bright, but not in any way fancy. We were there on a Saturday and enjoyed unlimited vegetarian dishes served as part of a lunch special. Highly recommended.

Went to celebrate a very special occasion that's my mom's birthday but as soon as we entered a location at Oaks ( PA) , i have to run away. They used to clean up this place with some hardcore chemicals while people are still eating. Worst ever experience. I was looking for negative stars.Be careful they are horrible.

We are regular customers of Anam, we've been there more than 100 times now but I would like to mention the new lady in the restaurant is very disrespectful. We went to the restaurant and it was all empty only 2 more people were there and we sat on a 4 chai table She came and said get up from here because she will have to clean it. I mean is that's the way to treat ? Specially when whole place is empty? We've never been disrespected before at Anam but this lady !!!! Now we left your place so that she won't have to clean it and we will not bring any of our friends and family to your restaurant so that she won't have to clean it.
