When i moved to Ponce and that following month they moved to Ponce! they had a few block parties and it was the best experiences I've had since I returned home from living in Oakland California! Then I moved to The west end and again a few months later coincidentally they opened their out post within walking distance to me! These ladies are the queens of food trucks and street food in my opinion! I hope they continue to prosper! Everything on the menu is ! They are the Chick-fil-A of street food!

Atlanta is really stepping up their foodie scene, it's the main thing I miss about living there! This tiny tin shack is just across from the Krispy Kreme and if you blink you'll miss it, but it's like a permanently parked food truck with a nice lady owner inside. My gbff absolutely loved his chicken Philly and I absolutely loved the super thin and crispy zucchini chips! Sitting outside on the cool floor mural while Midtown traffic zips by and the old Kodak sign overhead in the distance make for an eclectic and very urban-chic snack time!

Location: Off Ponce right by Krispy Kreme.* Fav Item: Salmon bites* Positives: Fast and great service, easy to order and no matter what you get it's always amazing. Music is always on point and staff is so friendly. * Negatives: None at all. * Overall: Will be back, more than I should but I loved everything about this place. Not just the food but the experience is what matters most.

I am ready to give this place 5 stars....but I can't just yet5 stars for the flavors of the food5 stars for the concept 5 stars for the quality of the foodI'm taking off a star for price point, availability of menu items, and time to prepare because these are things that are important to me and on this day they were off on these. I ordered Not Yo Average (ground lamb nachos) and the street corn. Whooooweee!!!! The layers of flavors in both of these dishes was out of this world! Spicy, fresh, savory. This is a winner! My only complaint on this one was it was a little challenging to eat because of the depth of the packaging, but this is something I can deal with because it was just soo good. This is most similar to a gyro salad but on a whole new level. I added some olives and a little more tzatziki sauce when I got home and I was sad (and super full) when I ate every last morsel. This is exactly as it is called...Not Yo Average and at $15 not my average price. I also ordered the street corn which was perfectly charred and then dressed in what i think was mayo, cheese, and chipotle pepper flakes (I have these at home). I just wish they could have charred and lathered the whole thing rather than just one side. I would also request they offer it off the cob (so I could have dug into it on the way home). I think this was $5. I was tempted by the IG pics to try the Peach Sticky Wings but they were out/not available this day. This was disappointing because they don't have a large menu as it is and it's a bit of a trek for me to get here. I called in my order and with Friday ATL traffic it took me a little bit longer to get here. I still ended up waiting a little bit (abt 15 mins) ad had it not been 40 degrees and windy I wouldn't have minded so much. There were also other customers waiting in their cars and looking bewildered about the wait time (one was a bit more vocal). The whole point of calling the order in was all for not since I ended up having to wait the same amount of time. On one hand I don't mind paying for the quality of ingredients, but @ $21 total....it's not something I can make a weekly habit of. But when I'm in the mood to spend a little bit more, I know that I can come here and get a good meal. But here's the thing that makes me a forever fan....the story behind 9ASF is something out of a movie (google them). These 3 young women are living what once was a dream. They have brought to life an idea that they had. They are an inspiration and I will continue to support them however I can. I strongly encourage you all to stop by and grab some of this street food!

9th Avenue Street Food is awesome. They care about their food. Check them out...on Ponce de Leon (across from Krispy Kreme). The Street Corn is my favorite along with everything else on the menu. Fresh to order. If you don't have time to wait call ahead and place your order. The wait will not disappoint you or your taste buds.

Pro: Fantastic FoodCon: Closed on Mondays I've been to places that I thought had 5 star food, 9th Ave St. Food deserves more stars than those places.A friends of mine told me about this place and how she orders many things on the menu, something to eat now & something for later at night .... So being the foodie that I am, I knew I had to check it out. I've been back three times and have brought a new friend with me each time so they can get in on this goodness too. Food that I've had so far, that you MUST try:Dirty Dog w/ fried zucchini chips. Now I LOVE a good chili dog, but this dirty dog literally plays dirty & is for no games. The bun is HAWAIIAN BREAD hot dog bun!!!!! It's just the right amount of hint of sweet to go with the savory. Zucchini chips are seasoned ...... I just can't even find the right words, so I'm not going to try ... Delicious, Yummy, etc really does it no justice Pink Salmon Bites:My friend had these, and I took a bite. Now, I don't like salmon, but I'll eat these, any day. The Long Way:The best meatball sub I've had. Turkey meatballs, topped with sauce, & provolone cheese on Ciabatta bread. The meatballs are seasoned, but the sauce on top is what sets this off. & for me, it's big enough for me to eat some now, & then again later.Street corn: 1 word: perfection Sweet & Savory Empanadas: I was a little nervous every to try these because of the food combination (sweet potato & cranberry). But for me, it's the perfect because when I eat dessert after my main dish I don't like anything that overly sweet. This is the perfect balance. 9thAveStreetFood is an outside eatery, so go there on a nice sunny day when there's minimal breeze. Trust me you won't regret it.

I cannot rate this place on service and presentation alone. The food is beautiful in presentation and the service is amazing! But I came to eat the food. My mouth was watering from the sight of the food and when my order finally arrived, I tasted nothing. Everything I ordered was VERY bland. My order included: sweet potato empanadas, sweet corn jalapeño hush puppies, and fried zucchini. I want to give this place another try but I don't want to pay for bland food again.

Food truck was at Wild Leap brewery before the Atlanta United game. GREAT food - much more flavor and creativity than I expected. The jerk chicken Philly was ridiculous! A great variation! Also - love supporting a local woman-owned business. Definitely will follow 9th Ave Street Food and find them for another meal!

The pros: the BBQ minis were delightful. The service was friendly. The cons: the zucchini chips were bland and the chipotle aioli is not appetizing. Note it's not good by itself on the minies either. I took the zucchini back and asked to swap out for another side having only eating 2 chips. I ordered the plantains and for $4 I got 5 slices of plantain which had a smoky not-so-good flavor. The bananas foster poppers are pungent as if there either was no other seasoning (no cinnamon no nutmeg, bourbon nothing) wrapped in fried dough with powdered sugar. I wish I'd gotten a donut while the host sign was on across the street especially for the $. I burned my elbow on the silver table tops outside while waiting for my food.
