I needed a drink and a snack today so I stopped in at Williamson's. Heather, the bar tender fired me up a delicious hibiscus margarita. I had the jalapeños stuffed with pork and cream cheese wrapped in bacon from the Starter menu. They are amazing. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. A side of bbq sauce for dipping. It was a very good choice. I was blessed with some good conversation with several employees today. Shout out to Heather,Crystal, Lisa, Jarret and Trish!!!! As usual, I had my SA, Tuukka with me. I chose a corner high top which was perfect for him to lay against a wall and take a snooze.

I am giving this place 3 stars because the first time I went on Memorial Day, the brisket was amazing. It melted right in your mouth. I fell inlove. It was so great that I planned on ordering take out again very soon in the future. The second time I went, I ordered the same 1lb of brisket. I was expecting the same flavor, texture and feeling I got from a few days ago. I'm not sure what happened, but the brisket had the consistency, flavor and texture of a pot roast. There was no seared line on the meat, so I don't think it was on a grill. I think it was either boiled or put in a crock pot.

This is my favorite place to come eat at when I'm in the Marietta area. I did something different and wanted to try the brisket sandwich. This sandwich was the truth. The bread is so soft and they give you enough brisket to fill the sandwich. The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is always family friendly. This is a must try

No Americans working your booth at the fair= no American dollars buying your food! Support Americans and we'll support you. The Mac and cheese looked gross BTW.

Used to be my "go to". They were a staple in Marietta. They were somewhat famous, even. Anyone and everyone knew about 3 things in Marietta. The Big Chicken, the racist bar (which changed hands), and Williamson's Bros. Unfortunately, Williamson's has gone down hill. Quality has been sacrificed. I don't know if the recipes or process changed but something has. And the building on the outside looks run down as well and getting a bit long in the tooth. It was fine when I first started going here in 2005. I will say this and the only reason I gave 2 stars: their pie is still pretty good. I have not seen a decrease in that, yet. Thank god!

I brought my family for some BBQ this past weekend and we have been coming here for years. We no longer live in the area but the food is still as delicious as we remember.I got the BBQ combo plate with chicken, ribs, pulled pork and brisket. All were good but it's hard to beat some good briskets. I also got Mac n cheese and fried okra as my sides. We ended up sharing a banana pudding and a coconut cream pie for the table the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I don't know if there was a staffing issue that day but the service and follow up could have been a little better. The interior is that of an old country house with vintage lamps and decor. They have redone the floors but you can still see the old parquet flooring under some of the tables in the back. Everything was very clean and authentic.

Full disclosure, we ordered from the food truck, we did not go to the restaurant. But, based on the food we received at a BBQ festival, we plan on visiting the restaurant soon. The pulled pork was smoky, but it wasn't overpowering like some other places. The mac and cheese was good, I mixed some BBQ sauce into it for an extra kick. The baked beans were some of the best I've had. You could they were slow cooked by how creamy they were. Overall, this was a great experience. Try the ribs, you won't be disappointed. We bought a bottle of sauce to hold us over until we can get to the restaurant.

I have to document that Williamson Brothers BBQ went out of their way to resolve an issue THAT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. I won't go into details, but they went above and beyond what was needed to help me get a refund from a delivery service that was basically scamming me but refusing to correct an obvious error. All that and AMAZING brisket nachos, too! This is a quality place with quality staff.

I've not had a good experience with barbecue in the state of Georgia. This was no exception. I tried the pull pork, the brisket, Mac & cheese and collards and I will say the best things I had at Williamson's Bros BBQ was the Texas toast and the glass of water. The waiter was excellent. The Texas toast and the water was excellent. The place was packed and had lots of smiley happy people. I would highly recommend going a couple miles down the road to Righteous Que- now that is some damn good barbecue. Enjoy!
