It's not the best to place to get tacos but for its friendliness (as it's casual), reasonable prices, convenience and fun vibes (the interior decors are pinkish), this is not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch or happy hour. I've been to its Governor's Park location once. That location is a bit smaller than this Berkeley location located in the fun Sunnyside neighborhood. I might not necessarily enjoy sitting outside in the patio as it's right in front of the busy 38th Avenue where the traffic noise might be an issue. As I was stopping here to grab a quick bite to eat amid running errands but wanted a nice quiet moment to do some journaling, I opted for inside seating. It was past 3pm for a late lunch. As I walked in, I realized that I had the whole place to myself except a guy sat at the bar. I got lucky! The bartender greeted me letting me know that I could sit wherever I would like. Once sat, the bartender came to me to see if I wanted a drink (except for the water he gave me) to which I said no. He later came back (after giving me plenty of time to decide as to what to eat). He took my order and placed it right away with the kitchen. Service was friendly and prompt. No complaints there. Three tacos sounded easy to handle as my stomach was empty. I chose the Ahi, Fish and Nopal tacos to entertain my grumpy tummy. My three tacos were simply and yet beautifully placed on a round plate when it came out. Good portions. And here are my analysis of the trios: Nopal: This was my least favorite one. This is a vegetarian option with no meat. I always enjoy vegetarian options but not this one. It lacked a character. It needs to be spiced up a bit to be more fun. Ahi: Second favorite. Ahi tasted fine but a bit chewy. The way it was cooked was perfect though; it was nicely pink inside. It was a little too salty for me unfortunately. Fish: I liked this one the most and this was more than decent. Battered/deep-fried (I guess I could call this tempura fried. I believe the fish is/was mahi mahi.) I would go back here just for this and get me two of them! Other tacos that caught my eye was Korean Bulgogi one. I decided to save this one for the next time. Dessert: I got me the Bavarian cream filled churro that came with chocolate sauce. I asked the guy to put it in a to-go box for later eating. He said it's a two piece although on the menu it says "churro" in singular. However, when I opened the box once I got to my car, I realized that there were four pieces. Wow! This exceeded my expectations. Got lucky again! Like I said, it wasn't impressive but overall, it was a decent dining experience. For this reason, I am giving this place a 4-star review.

This is our second time going to wild taco and it was not as good as the first. We sat at the bar again and service was not great. We had a different bartender and she was very slow on service (she didn't seem to want to be there). It was very hard to get her attention to get orders in/ask for anything else. We ordered queso and each of us had 2 tacos (highly recommend the shrimp taco!). It took forever for the food to come out and when it did the food was cold. It was pretty apparent she forgot about our food and it was sitting under a lamp for a while. The bartender was very distracted by her phone and was also eating while serving customers. The eating while serving really grossed us out since she wasn't washing her hands. The group next to us was also pretty frustrated with her service during their dining experience. We do plan to go back since they have a couple great tacos. But we definitely won't be sitting at the bar if the same bartender is on service.

Birria tacos were phenomenal: 10/10. Come here for these!Other tacos were also pretty bomb: buffalo steak was also excellent and the bulgogi was nice. Dinging it two stars for the following reasons:- bad service -- sat for like ten minutes with empty drinks- you have to pay for all salsas, the tacos don't even come with any. 2.50 per salsa - chips and guac were bad -- guac was frozen cold and both needed some flavor - 4% hidden fee- my wife really hated the unexpected cinnamon flavor in the carnitas

Tried this spot for date night on a Friday night, relaxed vibes, indoor + outdoor + bar seating, quick and friendly service. The food was good, lots of creative taco flavor options. In order that we liked them:1. Ahi taco2. Skirt steak 3. Bulgogi (Korean bbq)4. Pastor 5. Shrimp esquite 6. Fried fish Chips and Guac were solid too. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is solely due to price for portion size. The range was $4.50-6.50 per taco, and $9 for chips + guac, have to pay extra for salsa. I think this is a common price range for "gourmet" tacos, but each taco is on the smaller side. Portion wise - I think you'd need about 3 tacos per person to feel full, could maybe get away with 2 if you're not that hungry.

The tacos were very good, the salsa or sauce used in them was quite sweet and yummy. I wish the tacos came with two tortillas because one of mine feel apart pretty quickly. The tacos were also a good portion size, I felt satisfied after my two tacos and half the churro. The churro is filled with Bavarian cream which comes out very hot so be careful or you might burn your tongue like I almost did lol.The ambiance is nice and fun, it was relatively not busy on a Saturday early evening but quickly got more busy by 7pm. I a that they had the AC going even though they are also open to the patio. That was helpful on a hot day. In general, I like it! Will return.

We stopped by during Denver Restaurant Week for the first time. The interior has a super fun design! We tried the salad, chips and guac/salsa, elote fritters, chicken tinga taquitos, chicken tinga taco, carnitas taco, and churro stack. The churros were one of the best things I have ever eaten! I will be dreaming of them for a while and would totally come back for those. Everything else was tasty too. The tortillas used for the tacos were very flimsy and not durable, which made eating the tacos a mess, but the flavor was yummy.Service was friendly!

Food was great, ambience straight out of Miami, but we were shocked a 4 % "culinary appreciation fee" was added to our bill. This seems to be trending in the Denver/Boulder metro. Miami vibe, Miami prices.

We went on a Tuesday (Taco!) during Happy Hour.Started with chicharrones. Well executed, but not my style as I prefer meaty ones. The mild hot sauce was very tasty.Guacamole & chips. A decent-sized portion of guac. The chips are clearly not homemade. The carnitas tacos was filled with perfectly cooked shredded pork. The KFT taco was delicious. I will order this again. The other tacos were OK.+ Very good service. Friendly and knowledgeable.+ Atmosphere is comforting. I noticed that macrame and ferns are back.+ Average flatware- Paper napkins- TVs (I hate TVs in restaurants)- Kitchen staff surcharge$80.98 for dinner for 2 including tax and tip.
