"Wolf Peach Public House was an impromptu date night for us. I saw they were available for reservations on OpenTable and we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very nice, the dining area was average sized but they do have a large patio with outdoor seating. Our food was good, but not for the faint of heart (haha). This restaurant uses strong bold flavors which was not our favorite for one of our entrees. What we ordered: Wolf Peach Ricotta- Outstanding! We will definitely order this againScallops- this is the entree that was definitely outside of the box and was not our favorite. The order comes with 4 Japanese scallops. It is served with a pea purée, wasabi, chimichurri, prosciutto, and citrus. Flavor overload, we will probably not order this again. Also, the scallops were slightly fishy, which is a risk you take when ordering seafood in CO (haha). Burger- holy cow!! This was our favorite and will definitely order again. Everything tasted so fresh and the avocado aioli was on point. The side salad it comes with had the most delicious dressing, super refreshing. Fried fingerlings are not my favorite version of fries but good overall. Overall, we will be back and would definitely recommend checking this place out!"
"Came to eat here after taking a walk and I'm so happy we found this place. To start our server was amazing and made us feel so welcomed. They have such a family vibe and we feel really comfortable and relax. They do have a huge menu and everything looked great. To start I had a red bull Margarita which was huge and delicious. We also shared a chicken taquitos which itself could be a meal. The chicken was moist and flavorful. For entree I had the fajitas de mar which was shrimp , baby octopus and a whole fish filet inside a pineapple with rice, beans and the fix. I think my seafood was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I was not a fan of the beans but that's just me.We also had the carnitas enchiladas which were also absolutely delicious and packed with pork. I do think some things were a bit overpriced, but overall we had an amazing time and amazing food. I recommend to try."

"Wow this is my new go to place. They have coffee bar, they have homemade biscuits, homemade cinnamon rolls, thick cut bacon - what else could you ask for? The eggs Bennie was wonderful - the Hollandaise is perfect amount of creamy and slight tang. The potatoes they call Browns are great not too crispy not too hard. The pancake was really good. The waitstaff is young I think more teens or just out of high school but they were nice. Will definitely return."
"An old friend came into town and I wanted a relaxing place where we could sit and catch up. I liked the ambiance of a diner because I know the coffee will keep flowing, so we picked this one.Our server, Heather was cool about us camping out at one of her tables. Though the place was busy, she kept our coffee cups full and delivered us a delicious breakfast when we were ready. She was very attentive to our needs.I had the Hobo. It was a different twist on a common breakfast plate. It had scrambled eggs and cheese, onions, green peppers, diced tomatoes and hash brown potatoes. But instead of mixing the eggs with the cheese and vegetables then serving hash browns on the side, the vegetables were mixed together with the hash browns and the scrabbled eggs put on top of that mixture and then cheese on top of the eggs. I usually leave most of my hash browns, but because they were mixed with the vegetables, they complimented the mixture. It was really different, and very tasty!"
"This was a great place to watch the Bronco's game - or any game as they had many playing here. There's a lot of space and it's a fun atmosphere. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was yummy. The chicken on it was excellent and good quality and I definitely recommend it. I definitely plan on coming back here for the many events and specials they have throughout the week! Will add to this review when we go and try more items and events here!"
"Very good food. Came back 3x during our visit to golden. Specifically likes the smoked salmon bagel sandwich"
"The best Mexican restaurant I have visited in Denver, Chili Verde, combines atmosphere with exceptional, genuine food with a Puebla origin. It is genuine and so darn good.Located in Federal Heights near a busy intersection, Chili Verde was an exceptional stop on a Saturday night. The weather was spotty, so we elected to sit inside instead of enjoying their inviting outdoor patio.Greta, our server, was friendly, informative, and kind. She never rushed our foursome and made it a terrific experience. The interior was warm, making the entire visit even better and a very cool mural as a centerpiece. I loved the homemade chips (more, please) accompanied by multiple salsas, one red-hot, and I enjoyed it immensely. But the highlight was my dinner choice, Mole Verde, which was presented extraordinarily well and tasted even better. It was an incredible dish and such a unique meal option. My friends enjoyed their respective meals: crepas poblanos and mole poblano, but I wasn't jealous because my choice was phenomenal.Met the owner (Eder) after this amazing meal, and now I see why the place is so darn good. He is from Puebla, Mexico, and embraces his homeland. The whole staff is kind and professional, reflecting his personality. Without a doubt, coming back. It is too good an experience not to visit more frequently."
"New favorite breakfast joint to pick up before heading up the mountain. Got a fully loaded burrito that is too messy to eat on the drive, but perfect to eat when you get to the resort waiting for first chair. Got another burrito handheld with egg, bacon and cheese with the potatoes on the side. Crushed that one on the way! Good price, fast online order, and perfect start for a day of boarding"
"Ok, this place was amazing. I've lived in this area for a decade and likely driven by this place 100 times. It has very unassuming signage I can barely read from the road. The sign is weathered and the place kinda looks like it might have closed ten years ago. But, what a surprise. Apparently it's a "locals" favorite and after my lunch today, I know why. We were greeted and seated within thirty seconds of walking in. The young female hostess was welcoming and chatty. Our waitress, Christina, was incredible from our first conversation forward. She was fun, friendly, efficient and professional. In a very almost friends kind of way. The food was hot, fresh and well made. The prices were much better than Denny's or a Village Inn and the atmosphere much more personable. I just might have found my new breakfast spot in my area."
"This one is an easy five stars. We discovered Just Be Kitchen before the pandemic and fell in love with the breakfast burritos. We have had many items on the menu and even purchased the make your own brownie mix for home. This is a top notch spot for anyone looking for a fresh made, high quality and ingredient conscious food experience. Everything we have eaten here has always been so perfectly delicious. Breakfast burritos on a weekend morning after a walk around town are perfect. Outdoor seating makes for a great option if the weather is right and a brownie for breakfast is never a bad thing. Great service. High quality ingredients."
"Ranch House Cafe offers a "no-frills" standard American breakfast in a diner type-environment. The diner is certainly older and has that quintessential old-town, run down look from the outside. Our waitress served us, but not with a smile. It did take quite some time for our food to come out, which is standard according to our local friends. We ordered up some breakfast items such as the Mediterranean Scamble, Avocado Vegetable Omelet, and the Huevos Rancheros. All the food items offered a solid breakfast experience with affordable prices."

I'm all about crowd sourcing for the best restaurants for me to check out when I am in different towns and the one I kept hearing about was Wolf Peach Public House. People raved about the service and level of the cuisine. If it tells you anything, we decided to go back here for a second time even though we were only in town for five days! Located in the same shopping center as poullette BAKESHOP(check out a previous post of mine), this place has a cute, but tight, space to dine inside with a lovely bar, but their outdoor patio is where it is at. They have festoon lighting strung throughout the patio, multiple fire pits, table seating, lounge seating, and of course the views! Everything on the menu sounded so well thought out with exceptional ingredients and unique combinations. I wanted to try everything from the appetizers to the sharables to the cocktails! We did go on a Friday night, so it seemed that our server was a little overwhelmed. There were a number of times where I felt like I needed to flag her or one of the other staff down with a request or a refill. additionally, the bar next to this restaurant has an outdoor patio that shares a fence and there was a large and very noisy party happening there... that, and one of the groups in our patio space that night had little kids that kept roaming around the fire pit worrying me, but I understand a lot of this is out of the restaurants control. Aside from these trivial things, it was an exceptional experience.

Had seen their ads on television and decided to try El Tequileno. Glad I did, this is a solid choice for very good Tex Mex food. Menu is huge with lots of choices and combinations. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious -- roasted tomatoes make the difference. The chicken mole enchiladas tender and tasty with the mole sauce. Service was exceptional. Food was served promptly, piping hot. Inside the booths are comfortable and the decor is brightly painted walls and lots of Mexican items. The well stocked tequila bar looked amazing --gotta go back for that.

Very hearty meals and priced well. My wife enjoyed her steak, of course she couldn't finish it. This was one of the first meals I couldn't finish either. We saved some for our kids when we got home. Service was on point. Coffee and water was refilled promptly, waitress stopped by periodically to make sure we were good.My only concern is the space. It's pretty cramped here. The management tries to do the best they with what they have.

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Ended up here after a hike that landed us in Golden. We actually walked past and then went back and man are we glad we did. Spot was very simple nothing fancy. All seemed very welcomed- coming from out of town we were greeted by many. I had pancakes which could have been the best I ever had. Big and fluffy yet tasted just like a pancake should. Loved the warm pitcher of syrup. Great for a Dipper like me. My Hubs got a breakfast burrito and said it was definitely the best one he ever had and that the green chili sauce was "Epic" Service was also very good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had such a great experience at Ritual Social House! Was looking for a more casual restaurant for a Wednesday evening and stumbled here. The Christmas decorations set up all around were really inviting and warm. Their drink menu was also great and their Breck Burger was delicious. Also wanted to mention that their staff was super helpful, attentive, and did a great job on a busy night (I believe our servers name was Kendrick - he was great!)Cant forgot their daily specials either. Every night/day there seems to be a different deal or event, and we happened to be there for their adult bingo which was super fun! Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a cozy, more casual restaurant with fun daily specials and good vibes overall!

Coffee with a purpose can be enjoyed here at Humble House Cafe. The meticulously designed and decorated shop on Golden's main drag pops visually and makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in.After doing some digging on their website, I came to discover that the owner had opened Generous Coffee Shop in Tributary Food Hall. Unfortunately the food hall closed, but now they have a stunning space just a block away. When you set foot in Humble House Cafe gravitates towards the beautiful exposed brick, hanging plants, and lovely artwork. The shop is filled with retail items from local artisans, purveyors, and producers. They have a large breakfast and brunch menu (that we didn't get to try this time), coffees, teas, smoothies, etc. They even have a back patio with a cute camper that can be reserved online!I ordered a cortado and my wife ordered a drip coffee. Mine hit the spot, but hers left a little to be desired. We get it, the coffee was probably sitting for awhile since the shop wasn't far off from closing for the day. Though we thoroughly enjoyed shacking up inside the shop. Very comfortable chairs IMO.A nice addition to Downtown Golden that I didn't know was necessary until we walked in and checked it out. They work with many non profit organizations and have a strong sense of community. I also love on their website how they have pictures of all their team members, thought that was cute and empowering for the employees!

I've been here a couple of times now with a larger group (5 of us) and the service has been impeccable. We've been seated immediately both times, and even when it has been busy, the servers, bartender, busser, and chef have all been friendly and helpful. The restaurant is open, clean, and beautiful inside. I'm really burying the lead here, because the food is phenomenal! They have classics that you can find in Mexico. Today I ordered the Chile en Nogada, and ohhh my goodness. I was so impressed! The flavors and textures were very different than anything I've had before... a little bit sweet, a little bit fruity, but also very creamy and savory. I'm excited to come back and get the same thing again! *chef's kiss*

"I didn't intentionally find this coffee shop; I literally stumbled into it one day. As in, I stumbled into their sign as I was walking by and discovered it tucked away just inside the entrance of the Alliance Center, close by the Union Station. It turned out to be a great find! This is one of the very few places downtown that I know of that serves Pablo's Coffee, which is what piqued my interest since I am a big fan of their light roast. The menu items are standard for most coffee shops: au lait, cappuccino, the works. I chose the au lait in the light roast with extra foam. Creamy and light without any bitterness, which is exactly my version of a great cup of joe. You know they definitely brew their coffee well here when you don't need to add any sugar for it to taste good. They also have some tasty pastries that go well with their drinks; I chose the pineapple coconut bread that was the perfect touch of sweetness to my unsweetened coffee. The people are nice and are accommodating to your preferences, which was very welcoming as a first time customer! I'll be coming back, intentionally this time, in the future."
"Walked over from our hotel. Wanted to sit outside but the outdoor seating was unappealing especially since an urban camper was planted nearby. So we grabbed an indoor booth. The server was friendly and moved things along but not too fast. We started with a beer and when you check-in with Yelp you get a house margarita for 1 cent! We both ordered the combo platters with enchiladas, tacos, and tostados. All were very good. The pork taco had a bit of heat. They do not provide chips and salsa as a free starter - inflation? Also we discovered too late that they have a salsa bar that you can use to enhance your meals. Maybe we missed this because the menu was via a QR code which I usually find is harder to get the big picture of the menu. Easier to miss items.."
"Came to lunch with a colleague when we were attending a large conference in the Denver Convention Center across the street. It was 12:30pm on a busy Friday and business seemed quite good for them. However, we were seated quickly and the server was attentive - water, menu, and utensils came right after. We ordered the kale salad with salmon ($8 for two pieces, not bad) and a Ruben sandwich. Both were excellent! The salmon was nicely cooked to a crispy surface but inside was juicy and tender! Beautiful and spacious dining room and pleasant experience! I've been eating around the Convention Center for about a week now and I'd say this is one of the better spots for lunch around the Center. Great location too - it's the first restaurant you'd see coming out of the Convention Center on the right side of the street. Reasonable prices too for this area. Both of our orders were under $20. No complaints here and would highly recommend it to conference goers! I'd say this is"
"Best breakfast burrito in town. Large enough a couple of people but the chorizo has a nice level of heat and though it has potatoes they are finely grated so you're not chewing through big hunks. I don't understand the presence of potatoes in any burrito, but if you have to add them this is how. Gives the burrito a nice texture and combined with Carnitas Californias quality and thin tortilla it makes for a nicely chewy breakfast experience."
"I don't know about you, but I think about eating more often as an adult than I ever did as a kid. Discovered this hidden gem in my soon to be new neighborhood. Love the quaintness. Staff is super sweet and friendly. It gets jammed packed here on weekends unless you can make it out early enough with bedhead and hungry appetite. Great seating for the bar welcoming you with cool chairs. Communal tables available if you want to opt out of waiting, just be prepared to be friendly. There is also an upstairs area for additional seating. When busy, can get pretty cozy next to your neighbors but hey who doesn't like meeting new peeps?!! Modern, relaxing and calm atmosphere when not jam packed.Strong, bold coffee like the babe. It's one way to wake me up. Had me at beignets and French toast, add a side of bacon and results in one very happy girl. The accompanying sauces are perfect blend of creaminess and fruity compote. They do have some gluten free options like the pancakes. I didn't try the grits or the biscuits and gravy even though those are Southern staples. Will be back when it's not a crazy holiday weekend outing. Overall, my transformation into a happy well fed woman is complete here. Great spot and would be back for another dose of their charm."
"Damn the torpedoes!Torpedo Coffee is a reliable coffee shop in Park Hill/Oneida Park. They serve great coffee and a variety of breakfast sandwiches and burritos. One of the more robust food options for a coffee shop other than the typical pastry case. One thing I like here is the variety of artwork displayed. It's cool to spotlight great artists and they have ample eye candy on the walls. We spent a few hours here on Sunday and the playlist was awesome. You know you've found a great coffee shop when you don't have to plug in your earbuds!Baristas are uber friendly and work efficiently. Very quick to empty the dish bin, serve up food and top off your coffee. Oh, the best part of Torpedo are the free refills of drip coffee! Corvus coffee refills? Say no more.My only negative is I just wish they were open later. They close at 2:00pm every day. And you know what, good for them. But selfishly I know that if they were open later they'd be more in my weekly rotation. In a great neighborhood with plenty of surrounding options like Esters, Dang, Illegal Pete's, etc. If the weather cooperates, take your coffee on the patio. They have lots of seating out there and it's covered. Cheggitout!"
"This place is not that obvious, I drove by and had to come back. It's a very simple place but inside is cozy and the staff is super friendly and very welcoming. My Mexican mule was delicious and really the best of this evening. Complimentary chips and salsa. Ordered nachos with shredded chicken and beans. No clue how they would be without the extra charged beans and chicken but they were just gross. I ate it because I was starving but I didn't order anything else. Just look at the picture and you'll see what I mean. I really wanted to like this place especially with good reviews and young new staff, but this was just wrong to serve."
"My coworker and I loved this little gem! Not only are the salad portions huge, but the salad options themselves were great as well. My first day here I got a salad with smoked salmon, and this was super tasty with the parsley vinaigrette. We also had the hummus to share, and the pita bread was delicious and unique. The second day we came for lunch, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita bowl as a salad- how cool! It was also super delicious, and both the carrot dressing and tahini dressing were tasty. We had to get the hummus and pita again with our lunch because it was so addicting. Great find in this area of Denver."
"We were in the area, which if you don't know they do have other establishments within walking distance. And an amc theater near by too. The parking lot at the time, was not completely full. And a separate parking area from the amc theater. This is the first time we eaten at this establishment. The set up is different from the other one. This time we ordered three tacos. Two steak tacos and chicken for him. Nothing fancy just meat and cheese. We sat one of the booths and waited to get buzzed. At the time there were a few people but all and all not too loud for lunch crowd. They also have a few flat screen tvs. The establishment seemed clean and I did witness one of the employees cleaning while we were around. Which is a deal breaker fp me. I could see coming back to this location when on the area again."
"Authentic Mexican food for sure! My wife and I moved to the area and tried this place first. That might mean we won't go anywhere else for Mexican food. The tortillas are spot on authentic along with the beans. Chicken was great. The green chili sauce over the burrito was a touch limey for me but still flavorful. Nice selection of beers too."
"Pretty lackluster experience here. I need a burrito to use in conjunction with a collaboration I was posting on insta and as Rositas was nearby and on my way home I figured I would grab one from there. Chose a handheld burrito as it would make for better pictures and put the order in on an app. I showed up a few minutes before my scheduled Time but I figured a handheld burrito with 3 ingredients how long could that possibly take to make.Showed up to a completely empty restaurant and the order not done. No worries I assume I let them know that I'm here and they will start making it....considering they have 0 other customers. Nope. Took them 17 min to get that burrito with literally - green chili , cheese, beans, and pork complete. All the while the ladies are all chatting and having a great time. Pretty interesting experience. But oh well; get home and take my pix and then try the burrito. Paid extra for sour cream inside the burrito, it came on the side lol. Burrito was meh. Which I guess giving my experience even trying to pick it up, I guess should have been expected. Probably won't be going back there and I guess now I know why at like 5pm they literally only had two customers (the two that walked in during my 17 min wait)"
"Commerce City authentic hole-in-the-wall review feature: Los Tamales!!THE SPACE: Wonderfully unassuming and tucked into a little strip mall off 62nd and Vasquez sits Los Tamales. It has a small dinning room that can maybe seat 10 people. Most of their business seems to be takeout. If you do choose to dine in, be warned - it gets HOT in the afternoon.THE EATS: Holy. YUM! I've gotta say I'm hooked on the big burrito. Now, this burrito is massive! I've ordered it with both carnitas and carne asada - the carne asada is def where it's at. My coworker frequently get the carne asada fries and those are equally delicious. Next on my must-try list is the breakfast burrito, because let's face it, I am a sucker for a breakfast burrito. THE DRINKS: What would an authentic Mexican meal be like without a litre bottle of real Mexican Coke? Sub par is what it would be. Well never fear because they got you covered! Los Tamales also offers up bottled Fresca, Sprite and other authentic bevvies to wash down your meal. THE SERVICE: Legit the friendliest staff. They are very patient and helpful even when busy. They are always happy to answer any questions you have. Los Tamales is def my newest authentic Mexican obsession. I'll gladly eat there any time and every time I'm in the area. **Pro Tip: Did I mention grab and go tamales?! No!! Well, yeah, they offer up their tasty AF tamales to take home by the dozen for your dinner, lunch, late night snaking, or whatever enjoyment! So go on and treat yo'self!"
"The cafe is located at the corner across the Denver wall art. There are few indoor tables and seating. We got a cappuccino, iced latte, and almond croissant. Everything was above average and reasonably priced for the quality. The cappuccino wasn't scorching hot (which is good) and had great foam texture. the latte had a great coffee flavor. Surprisingly, their almond croissant was one of the best I've had, hands down better than any bakery I had in Denver or in DC. Perfectly flakey and crispy with a not too sweet almond cream. I think they get their pastries from Black Box, so I hope they keep them as their supplier!Overall, the staff was friendly and the service was quick."
"This place is awesome, and the service is fast! I'm a fan of chips and salsa, and Los Dos Potrillos does not disappoint in terms of its chips and salsa. We probably had about eight bowls of the salsa because it was so good - and it had a kick to it. The portion sizes definitely were not small, either - I was stuffed by the end of the meal! I had the steak street tacos. The ambiance was decent, but it felt busy. We only had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. Our server was very kind and made us feel right at home. He also let us know that they have a new location that opened up in Castle Rock - and he made sure to mention that the food there is just as good!"
"Beauty AND brawn, these pastries are the whole package. Not only do they look gorgeous, but they are so freakin delicious and expertly made. The flavors are extraordinary, the dough buttery, the croissant has layers on layers on layers, and on top of all that, it's rainbow inside!! Fun fun fun. The lady working there, I guess the owner/baker, is so sweet and friendly. I left with the best feeling and want to go back to eat everything else... plus seconds of everything I already had!"
"My friend and I came here for brunch last week. We came right when it opened and had no trouble getting seated. I'm glad more places are starting to offer brunch because I really hate waiting. The ambience is definitely that of a cocktail lounge, but very comfortable. We started with bloody marys and asked for spicy. They didn't come out spicy (granted, we really like spice) but the mix is all very thin. I prefer a thicker bloody, so I wouldn't order this again. We opted for a bottle of bubbly rose next and that was delightful. For our entrees, I had the Shakshuka and my friend had the Breakfast Skillet. I loved how saucy mine was and the flavor was great- but it came out luke warm, so I would have preferred hotter. My friend said the Breakfast Skillet was very good. Overall, I think the best aspect of this place is the ambiance. I'd certainly return!"
"Friendly coffee cafe - deep in coffee, pastries and lunch items. Today, she had an oat milk turmeric latte and I had a flat white. Check out their coffee and food here."
"I tried the Littleton location last year and wasn't impressed but the South Broadway location restored my faith in this restaurant. The service was quick and attentive although I forgot to get the name of our waitress. The bacon flight was delicious and a great way to start our meal. The prickly pear mimosa was yummy but I definitely got more lavender than prickly pear. The espresso martini was one of the best I've had and the stuffed blueberry French toast was absolutely delicious with the perfect fresh fruit compote and not overly sweet. I will definitely be back to this location!"
