Westside Waffle

The food was hot and fresh out of the oven service was friendly and great. Good location in and out.

Yo, this spot is legit. A little hidden gem. It's located in a shopping center. For the portion sizes, their prices are so reasonable. I had breakfast but will have to come back and try their lunch options. It has about 4 tables and a counter, which makes it a very homey feeling. I love these places. I will defenitely be coming back.

So it's Saturday brunch day again, I'm not interested in Waffle House again. I've seen this place come up on Yelp when I was searching the area but never got around to coming over here until today. Passed Demtris Restaurant on my here, their parking lot was a bit full. Since I was doing a walk-in I was a bit worried about how my experience was going to go. Westside is located in the Covington Place shopping center. Fairly medium-sized establishment I was greeted from the time I walked in, There was only one waitress and the cook on the line. The waitress seemed a bit confused. She let me know that she was new, so I gave her a pass, Got the country-fried steak with gravy and eggs. There was one other couple in the place besides me. got my food to go and the waitress assured me that this was going to be the best breakfast I've had in my life and they have customers that come back daily to get their food. Got home and strapped myself in for this life-changing experience. Sadly to say my life remains unchanged at least from a food perspective. The steak was Okay, I was hoping it would be fantastic since I haven't had a good country fried steak in a long while. Westside is going to have to step up it's game if it wants to compete with Demtris on this side of town.

Very pleased with our second visit to Westside Waffle today! The waitress / cashier was very personable and took our orders in a timely manner. The cook, an older gentleman, worked as fast as he could to pump out the orders as they came in.Our wait from when we ordered to when food was delivered was about 15 minutes, but everything arrived to the table piping hot and fresh. However we did receive our drinks quickly and they were the most delicious Arnold Palmer's, iced tea and lemonade mixed, that you will probably find in Georgia.Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared exactly how we asked it to be. We will be back again soon!

The food here is sooo good. I've door dashed breakfast from here twice and it's taste like I made the breakfast at home myself... delicious!

We were really excited about having a breakfast diner in the area, but we were unfortunately disappointed.The first time we tried Westside Waffle we ordered in person and took it to go. I had French toast, eggs, the hash browns with everything on them, and grits. My partner had the steak and eggs. We both agreed the eggs were not good - which I thought were hard to mess up. They tasted like plastic, definitely not fresh.My food was decent overall. The hash browns were the best part of my dish and I liked the grits. The French toast were pretty mid. My partner's steak was overdone and chewy. We decided to give them another try today and ordered delivery. I had the waffle - which you assume would be amazing according to the name, right? Wrong. I don't know what it was but the waffle tasted sour. I couldn't eat it after a few bites. Hash browns again were good. However, I selected "add cheese" and they added the cheese to my grits. Personally, I prefer sweet over savory grits so I was disappointed. The cheese in the grits and my partner's omelette seemed especially cheep, like a slice of Kraft. TLDR: highly anticipated, tried twice, disappointed both times

Normally I don't even write reviews however I ran to post this one because this is ridiculous.I'm not one to be negative towards my people (especially small businesses) but we have to do better and I was starving but didn't take another bite. #1 online they don't even allow you to choose between catfish or whiting so I chose the option for both, banking on receiving 1/2 but I was given tilapia instead which I hate.#2 I paid an extra dollar for cheese on my eggs and NO cheese.#3 my fries were undercooked and my wings OVER cookedTossed the entire $41.73 in the trash can and I'm good on a 2nd try. I still wish them the best

Placed an UBER ORDER THIS MORNING- we are regulars- normally our waffles come with the whip cream and strawberry... I called to ensure that it is done and a very rude lady stated "she doesn't know what to tell me!" Then proceeded to hang up in my face and blocked my number-our company orders from here daily always over $70 dollars and they just lost a valued customer due to the rudeness of one employee we never spoke to before. They need to terminate that individual as what they started with "excellent service" has now drastically declined! Your employee just blocked your business from a customer. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

The food was very good. Much better than Waffle House. The on chef that was there did his thing. The guy at the register was very polite, courteous and professional.will definitely go back.

Calvin made our breakfast to perfection!! The vibes were even better than the food ! We had a wonderful time!
