Who knew that inside of a building that looks waaaaay past its prime (and is next to a vacant chained-off lot which is past its prime), is a quaint, lovely dining experience! Only because the place was mentioned on local TV did I take notice and made a reservation! It's a perfect example of IYKYK!The food is delicious. I started off with crab bisque. I have only had lobster bisque, but was willing to try something new. The bisque did arrive heated, but it was gelatinous. I asked for hot water to thin it out to a better consistency. After I did that-- wow! It was SO delicious! There's a kick of heat that really pulls you in!Next, I got the fried chicken, which came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. It's probably the best-looking fried quarter that I have ever seen! Really, too darn pretty to eat! The mashed potatoes were yummy. VERY yummy. The only issue was that the gravy in the cute lil gravy cup was... take a guess... starts with a 'g'... say it with me... gelatinous!! No worries! More hot water to the rescue! The collard greens were a little off-putting at first, as they were tangy, vinegar-forward. They also contained bacon, but since I couldn't order them without bacon, I picked through. Once my palate adjusted to the tang, the tender leaves became quite yummy!I had the best server ever! Very attentive without being a distraction. Politely asking if she could remove items from the table (other restaurants need to take notes), and she made sure that the water glasses remained full. Anything we needed or had questions about, she was on it! She PERSONALLY made me delicious sweet tea (they only serve unsweetened tea with simple syrup on the side, which is both a conundrum and an offense for Deep Southerners). Did I say that she was the best server ever???Other staff were warm and personable as well. Kudos to the hostess, the manager, and the head chef. Believe me, I will be back!IYKYK!

Came for mom's 80th birthday. A very unassuming area, parking across the street is free, but is a hop up a curb onto grass, a side gravel alley with a valet (do not bring big trucks or cars- you will not fit), and I think free parking around the corner somewhere. Valet is $4, Venmo, etc. with maybe a small tip in cash.Walk into an old building- not anything fancy or a grand hostess stand.The restaurant itself is quaint! Nice bar. Staff may come across snarky, but they are being hospitable, professional & want you to enjoy your time.We had a table on the patio. Lots of plants, fun string lights & there was a wedding rehearsal dinner out there too.Couples enjoying their company, etc. very romantic!!A heater on the patio came in handy towards the end.Appetizers were fresh & delicious. Good portions to share.Entree's are $22+++.I got shrimp & grits, a few ordered the Filet Med Rare & it actually came out too rare for them. They didn't want to say anything to anyone b/c we were with a group.Another friend (man) ordered the trout & said DELICIOUS, but he left hungry.The burgers at the table ordered Med Rare & came Rare... too rich, but delicious if that makes sense.Others enjoyed their Fried Chicken- said hard to eat- maybe off the bone would be nicer?Mom received a complimentary dessert & enjoyed her Pot de Crème!A lovely evening, PRICY, mom felt celebrated!Definitely a special occasion destination.Dress: business casual and up!

What a charming experience!Parking: there is $4 valet and maaaaaybe parking on the grass across the street but I didn't risk it. The valet was easy and convenient. Ambiance: the restaurant looks quaint and charming and then the garden room and patio open up into this gorgeous, bright, yet cozy space. Great vibes.Service: friendly, kind, attentive, and cool. Everyone seemed great and quirky. Food: fabulous!Truffle fries: delicious, but the sauce was the star. Some truffle parm aioli but it hit!Peach buratta salad: tangy and tasty. I do think it was heavily dressed but the flavors were fabulous. The peach shined and paired well with the tomato and buratta. Crab soup: very creamy very thick. Good flavor, but I wouldn't order again. Seared tuna: unique and delicious. The flavors paired so well. Butterscotch pot de creme: unreal perfection. Tasted just like a worthers in pudding form. Overall great experience ! Will definitely be back to try more of the entrees.

Had a nice dinner last night. First time there. We were seated near the open kitchen. Was fun to see the different dishes coming out. Got the tuna tartar and it was very yummy. Three of the pieces of tuna were really tough and I'm not sure why. I've never had tough to eat tuna in a tartar before. I got the steak. Was good but needed salt. The sauce it came with was very good. I asked our server for some sea salt. I should have taken a photo of the tiny amount she brought me in a small dish. I laughed thinking it was a joke! Also my potatoes were definitely from a box. They really had no flavor and I was disappointed in the texture and taste coming from this type of establishment. My guy liked his scallop entree and the burrata and strawberry salad was really tasty!Valet parking outside only $4. Very nice!

Finally went to Wahoo for my ladies birthday and we loved it. It's a very rainy day so they were kind of slow so the vibe so extremely chill. We ended up sitting at the bar since there wasn't anyone in there. We got a glass of wine and ordered the meatball and swordfish w/ scallops. The homemade pork and beef meatball was super delicious! It came with a rich creamy polenta. The swordfish and scallops definitely were worth it. It came with a garlic potato cake.

Off the beaten path Wahoo! Grill was a delight. Saturday evening was busy so it's best you make a reservation using their website. The inside was very intimate and the patio was very cute! There was actually a wedding reception happening at that time and the decor set up was beautifully tranquil. We were seated at the 'chef's table' that was located right in front of the open kitchen. We were able to see how the kitchen was run and view all the magic. I definitely felt like I was right inside the food network! Our waitress Vera was a gem and the manager Brett was super! The way Brett brought the drinks to the table was pure talent! Had to capture that (see photo). The food was amazingly prepared and presented and the taste was heavenly! Cant wait to go back!

One of those places I'd seen a million times but had never visited. Had no problem getting a same-day reservation on their website. Having never been there before, I chose the main dining room. Food-wise, I absolutely loved the sous-vide octopus starter. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it being served with hummus but now I'm wondering why I've had octopus without it all this time. For dinner I had the seared halibut -- again, outstanding. The risotto could have done without the sundried tomatoes, however. Just the artichokes and mushrooms plus the pesto sauce would have been enough. My bf had the pork chop and remarked that it was a bit dry and sweet, even though he had subbed the sweet potato side for regular potatoes. In terms of ambiance, we were a little disappointed with how close the tables are to each other. The restaurant was far from packed and yet we were seated right next to a table of four. There was a curtain separating us on the other side from that set of diners, but we could still hear everything that was said at both tables. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. It seemed like it took a while for things to come out, but that also could have been deliberate. A nice reprieve from the many places we've been to where you're basically rushed out the door. We ended up doing the $4 valet because it was dark and we weren't sure where else we could park, so just something to factor in for a future visit.

How have I lived in Atlanta my whole life and not known this place existed First of all -- the decor is stunning, they were just switching over for the holiday, a whole vibe We started off with the focaccia bread and fried calamari , followed by the pork chop and risotto Everything was delicious -- I've already devoured my leftovers our server was very attentive and had good recommendations throughout the night, the food came out quickly and the drinks were good!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Fresh ingredients and they don't hesitate to make a few edits where allergies are concerned. The bar is always solid! Def stop by.

This restaurant is beautiful! It has a lovely ambiance and the indoor garden room and garden patio are so pretty. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly! The food is spectacular and I highly recommend the grilled wahoo Sofrito and the chef's choice focaccia. I'll definitely be back!
