We have been here a few times and have always had a wonderful experience. The owner/staff are very friendly and quick to to help with any questions. We have sat outside, inside and at the bar. Great atmosphere and cold beer!Exploring the menu, we have tried many items and we were not disappointed one time. The serving sizes are large and it's easy to take some home. I recommend you give them a try. Enjoy!

Extremely mediocre from start to finish. We were starving and macchialina had a long wait so we resigned ourselves to this restaurant hoping it's pretty good reviews online we're an indicator of quality. Boy were we wrong. We should have know off the bat from the gaudy and tacky art all over the walls that this was a place with more style than substance. The carpaccio was way way too thick - no one wants to be chewing hard through raw meat. The pastas were just fair - neither cooked that well nor very flavorful - the pesto was almost ghastly. Perhaps sensing our displeasure, the waiter tried to offer us a free dessert but we respectfully declined because we couldn't wait to get out of there. Needless to say we won't be returning.

We ordered food to go and everything was ready quick and perfectly packaged when we got there. Super fresh and I love how there's an option for a combo with an appetizer and dessert!

Greeted immediately when we walked in and taken straight away to be seated. The waiter recommended some delicious combos and I'm not to much into pasta the correct way. But with his help I was eating right in no time. I tried to order gnocchi with clams and garlic.. Hummm no no no sir he said with a look . I was really? Yes really, don't do it you will send it back, let me help you. And man I'm glad he did. The bread was super soft and the oils on the table was perfect combo. Bottles of water on the table made sure we never ran out Yes I was able to put a basket of bread and my pasta to good use. The talk in the city is that this is the best pasta in Miami? YES I APPROVE this is the pasta spot where you are guaranteed authentic Italian pasta. Speaking Italian? Come have a conversation with GIGI. And leave with a SMILE

Hidden gem next to Whole Foods in South Beach!! The quality of my meal rivaled (and frankly beat) overpriced popular Italian places (Carbone, Prime Italian etc.) Went for late lunch on a Tues place was quiet so I stayed and was able to work a bit as well! Great service will be back 100%

Five stars for the offerings, food and value. The hosts are caring. The food is delicious and a perfect portion. The value menus are creative, providing something perfect for everyone, and are fairly priced. The only negative here is the decor because the round, bare and bright vanity bulbs along the south wall of the restaurant shine a bathroom-style lighting into the room and this kills the charm very much. If they had lighting with sconces on the wall and candles on tables it would be more of an ambience to bring friends for an evening. Otherwise, Pasta-Go is a wonderful place with a welcoming and robust menu to enjoy casually with the whole family. :)

Given where the TV was oriented, I had to break Don Corleone's rules and sit with my back to the door to catch an NBA game. Thank you, I'm here all week :)I was in the area late for a weekday and needed a bite to eat. Walking down Alton Road, I found this cozy spot open and decided to stop by. There's plenty of art in the walls and as mentioned, a large TV for your sports viewing needs.I was quickly served by complimentary bread, which I enjoyed with balsamic vinegar and crushed black pepper, as well as a caprese salad flavored with naturally tart tomato slices.Sometimes you just want the basics, and this place does them just right. In my case, I enjoyed a generous plate of fettuccine bolognese. The ragu was well flavored and proportioned; I didn't have to ask for extra sauce though I did put some more crushed pepper. My noodles also tasted yummy, fresh instead of "left on the side and reheated." Given the taste & texture, and the time it took to be brought out, you can infer they were made fresh. I did leave a little bit of space for a jiggly caramel pannacotta with a dash of sprinkled sugar as well as a cafecito.

One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. My ravioli was served frozen, and my son's Pasta was so hard he couldn't even chew it. Our waitress was very nice, but no one came over to try to help or fix the situation when we explained that the dishes couldn't even be eaten. Bathroom smelled horribly of mothballs. I have to believe the reviews are false. We are pretty easy to please and love Italian food, but you couldn't even eat this.

Had a wonderful dinner at Vita Osteria Italiana tonight. My husband and I have been enjoying this restaurant for several years now and the food has always been consistently good. Thought it was time to put the word out and let people know of another good Italian restaurant South Beach.
