Village Draft House

Stopped into Village Draft House for the first time this weekend, and it was a game-changer. Their draft selection is impressive, catering to every palate. Although we had already eaten, the food coming out of the kitchen looked too good to miss--definitely planning a return visit for that. The highlight? John, the bartender, who provides exceptional service with genuine enthusiasm. He's not just pouring drinks; he's delivering an experience. His passion for his work shines through, making you feel right at home. If you haven't been, put this spot on your list. We'll be back for sure--thanks, John!

Shaded patio seating, quick service, and the sweet tea isn't overwhelmingly sweet. This was the right choice for us today, just before everything got a little crowded from lunch rush. Hot honey chicken sandwich is a generous portion but boy is it a sticky-delicious mess! Cucumber/tomato/feta side was refreshing, too. Grilled chicken bacon ranch with okra to my left received a tasty report, thought it actually looked a bit messier due to all the ranch! We enjoyed ourselves for sure!Minus one star for the annoying flies and little bugs that bite! To eat outside or not to eat outside - that is the question!

Met a friend for a late lunch/mid afternoon snack. There were scattered tables of folks outside under the covered porch, trying to keep out of the direct sunlight. Once we were seated by the host, a very nice waitress came to offer drinks or food, but I'd not been there in years and my friend had never been. We were chatting and it was three visits before we finally decided on drinks and food - margs and a small plate of wings. They offer their wings without sauce, and let you order a sauce on the side, which I have found to be better than pre-sauced. If you don't like the sauce, just don't dip the next one and eat it "au naturale!" The drinks were not too strong, but not without a kick. I wish I didn't have to drive an hour back home in rush hour, or I'd have had a second!The place is typical sports bar (TVs everywhere, but thankfully, places like this have seen the value of closed captioning, rather than blasting the irritating chatter that is sports broadcasting! A nice soundtrack replaced the blare of sports ball talk! Yea!They have an extensive beer list (several dozen taps, it looked like!) but it was too hot out to get bogged down with a beer. The margs were fine! Stop in sometimes. GO between the rushes of lunch and dinner, and it's pretty quiet.

Hmm will say wait time wasn't too bad but overall nice lil hang out spot. But getting our food to order took a lil long but the beer was alright and food a good solid 7/10

Always a good choice if you want an extensive menu and decent beer offerings. We usually meet here on Sundays for late lunch or Wednesday evenings. Tried a new salad today: the hot honey chicken, which was delicious. Bartender kept the drinks flowing. It is a little loud inside, which is why we typically eat outside if it's warm.

My daughter chose where we would have dinner on a beautiful Friday evening while we had our favorite toddler in tow. We have been before, but it was the first time with a little one. It was still early in the evening, so we were able to be seated right away. We were seated at a booth in the back. There were high chairs, but we didn't need one. They also have a kids menu that comes with crayons and activities on the menu, like tic tac toe and coloring. Savannah was our server and she was great. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. It was so hard to choose because we were both starving. We ordered the chicken bites as an appetizer. They were really good. My daughter decided to mix one of the sauces, the draft house sauce and the garlic, soooo good! They make their ranch in house, which was a bonus. We ordered the half pound size with 2 flavor options. We also had the mild. For our meals, I ordered the Smoke Stack Burger because I now have a small obsession for burgers with bbq sauce and bacon. The burger was prepared exactly how I ordered it and so delicious and fresh. It was absolutely perfect. I had tater tot's on the side. They were good, just tater tots, nothing special about them. My daughter ordered the Gouda Steak sandwich, which sounds amazing on the menu, but was just ok. They forgot to put half of the ingredients on the sandwich and it's served on what seems like just toasted white bread, and not grilled sourdough. My daughter had to add salt and pepper. Her side was onion rings, and might I say they were the best onion rings I've had in a long time. For the little one, we ordered the chicken bites with tater tots. The service was great, especially since it hadn't gotten crowded yet. The food was really good and came out pretty fast, but not too fast like it was reheated.

Tried Village Draft House for the first time this afternoon, it was great! We had slower table service but it was busy so we understood. The waitress was great and our meals were perfect. I got the breakfast burger and it was delicious! Will definitely come back soon.

***FOOD: 2.5 stars really. Cheese burger - ok; fish taco- ok. Typical sports bar pub food. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$***DÉCOR: dark inside. Floors are sticky. Feels dusty but too dark to see. Red Booths and bar stools ***SERVICE: server was ok, came and filled water and food came fast enough. ***RECOMMEND: if around the area & very hungry would eat here again

I have been to this restaurant 2 or 3 times now, and its decent. It has tons of TVs which is very nice when watching a game, and they also have a very extensive beer list which is great! The customer service has always been nice, and they have nice big booths to sit in as well. Though when it comes to the main food entrees, I would say its a hit or miss. I cant say I loved any of the food I have ordered. It has all been so-so. But for the TVs and Beer selection, its a great place to go!

Best darn wait staff around!!!We had been in town for a conference and wanted to wait out the afternoon traffic before we headed back home, so we drove over for an early supper.The food was AMAZING!! And our guy Brandon was the most awesome staff member.... he was kind and awesome at all the attention to our orders and with serving us. He was so nice to talk to!I absolutely love to meet new people AND work with wonderful people like this in the service field. And let me say again the food was AMAZING!!I haven't cleaned my plate to the last morsal like that in a long time !!We will definitely be back!Why to go Village Draft House!!
