Viet Nam Quan

The restaurant is located in Bellaire, and it provides wonderful dishes. The broth soups were not salty and delightfully light which is pretty important to me since a broth can make or break a dish. The bowls were packed with veggies and did not skimp on the meat either. The price point is around $14 bucks which imo is pretty average for the area. The service is fairly quick and direct. They don't exactly "cater" but the service is still really good!

we usually go to Houston around this time of the year. we stopped by Vietnam Quan again and have bun bo hue and bot chien. Food was really delicious, bot chien was crunchy, nuoc cham for bot chien was really well seasoned. Service was attentive and nice. I rated this a place 4 star last year but give them 5 this year because of the great service ^^keep up the good work!

I can't believe I'm just now finding out about this place when I pass it almost every day! My fiancee and I decided to randomly dine here since I was in the mood for com tam and we wanted to get some snacks from Duc Phuong afterwards. We ordered the banh khot and com tam dac biet. Wow.. this was the best banh khot we've ever had. It was so good that we stopped by again three days later! The com tam was delicious and filling as well. We'll definitely be regulars from now on!

Ended up trying this place randomly for lunch. It was an average vietnamese restaurant that didn't seem too busy during lunch. So it's a good place if you just want to grab something quick to eat. Hu tieu was a bit bland to me, but the Com Tam said Gon grilled pork plate was just enough to make me full.

Team 3M weddings có dịp đến Houston để làm việc. Vô tình đến quán Việt Nam Quán để ăn trưa. Bên trong sạch sẽ và nhiều chỗ. Quán có món xôi lá dứa hạt sen với gà nướng muối ớt rất đặt biệt. Ngoài ra tụi em còn order thêm món canh bún, bún bò và một phần mì quản. Nước đậm đà và nhìu đồ ăn cho phần ăn. Ngoài ra còn có nhiều món đặt biệt lắm ạ. Nếu mọi người có ghé Houston có thể ghé đến tiệm để dùng bữa.Whole Chicken

Bun rieu and canh bun was very good. Lots of msg but better to have this than lacking flavor imo. The service was good and they seat you as quickly as they can even though they are busy. I love how the interior reminds you of Vietnam. From the TV show to the artwork, you really get a nice feel. Would definitely come back again! 1 star off for forgetting one of our bowls. We had to remind them and check on it. Aside from that, they apologized and all is well.

Ordered the Banh Canh Cua and Canh Bun. Canh Bun was definitely better of the two. Broth was flavorful and I really enjoyed there's a good balance between meat and vegetable. Banh canh didn't quite hit the spot, not sure what it was but the broth lacked crab fragrance. Both the pork and fish cake had pepper in them which I didn't really like. The fried breadsticks were delicious however and added a nice texture to the bowl.

Plenty of fellow countrymen were dining in so I had high hopes for this place, but the quality of the food wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Probably could've just made some of this stuff myself.Service was OK, but our table 2 feet right in front of the entrance was slightly annoying.

came here for dinner :) and food exceeded our expectations! evry dishes were so well-seasoned, just so much toppings in each bowl we ordered bun bo hue, canh bun, bun mam, pha lau, and goi du du. green seatings and brick wall made rly nice background for pics! bring cash so you can get 5% discount (pls confirm with staff)

Traveling from Seattle we weren't used to the price point in Houston so we were already happy looking at the menu. We ordered. Bánh canh cua chả cá: very flavorful and the broth had good thickness. I wasn't a big fan of there fish cake since they tasted quite bland. Bún riêu cua đồng: add some ốc as extra. This had super strong rice crab flavor that was missing in lots of other bún riêu places. . Phá lấu lòng bò: also a good dish with a decent amount of coconut milk that didn't make the broth too fatty. However I wish they had a little bit more savoriness taste.
