Very accommodating. We had switched our pick up times same day and they made it work for us! When I arrived at the scheduled time they had the tray ready for pick up.The egg rolls are crisp with a whole shrimp inside, well seasoned. Great option for parties. Can't speak for dine in, but they had about 10 tables to sit at in a relatively small but clean space!

Viet Food To-go is one of my favorite places to get Vietnamese food in Pearland and Houston asides from my mom's and family's house and has a lot of authentic dishes. The inside is very small, but they have a large menu. They make their bread in house and from scratch, and the smell is amazing. Their bánh tiêu or hollow donut, which consists of hollow pastry plastered with sesame seeds, is my favorite. I always get three each time I visit. I also like their bánh canh, especially on a rainy day. It comes with thick noodles, chả, and pork meats. I do wish there were more, but I can't complain because it's less than $10 for the whole bowl. They have a lot of comfort foods for a super affordable price! Overall, this is a great place if you want good bánh mì, bánh tiêu, bánh canh, or any other comfort and homemade Vietnamese dishes.

Viet Food To Go has all the intangibles I'm looking for in a casual, quality establishment: homey vibes with a no frills aura, local following, bomb food, and reasonable prices. This isn't a destination by any means, but I'm extremely envious of the community of folks living in the South Belt / Ellington area. If I lived around here, this would be more than just Viet Food To Go, it'd be my Viet Go-To.As expected, it's a small, family owned place that thrives on takeout. There is seating available, plenty enough that they're busy during most days at lunch time. They don't stay open later than 7 most of the week days, so get that order in (#1). In reality, the name doesn't do them justice, but it certainly adds to the appeal / charm for me.Overall, the food is fire. Their claim to fame is their bo luc lac (#2), which is juicy, tender, and well seasoned. I could always use more portion wise, but I understand beef is expensive. One of their best dishes has it served over sauteed Viet pasta (nui xao bo luc lac). I think their overly-peppery fried rice is sort of addicting and the bún dishes are quite nice. They're also a pseudo bakery, which means their banh mi (#3) is solid and other snacks, such as their banh bao, banh cam, and on some days, their pate so is worth ordering. An area where they really excel is catering, which also has a dedicated menu. They'd be a hit addition to any potluck or house party, I'd highly recommend anything they make, but especially their noodle / rice dishes. Add a massive jug of their Vietnamese iced coffee and/or dessert and you'll have people thanking you endlessly.I really appreciate the bilingual Vietnamese - English staff. Diem has always done a good job taking care of customers and they're good about making substitutions for folks with dietary restrictions. They also accept zelle and credit card. For the latter, be sure to sign up for their loyalty points. I'm definitely going to cash in on mine soon.___________(#1) Call ahead of time. Don't wait in line.(#2) Err ... "shaking beef" for the non-initiated.(#3) Beware spice haters, the bread is slathered with spicy mayo.

Just as the name mentions it, this place is good when you're on the go. They have a good variety of dishes, it's not gourmet standard, but it's pretty decent to fill your stomach up, my favorite is their shaking salmon and Thai green tea. Not a lot of space to dine in, so I'd recommend just getting your food to go, their service is fast though which is why I enjoy coming here when in a hurry.

We order from Viet Food To Go quite often. Today was the first time that we stepped inside the restaurant in an attempt to avoid increased delivery app fees. The location is easy to find and shares an ample parking lot with other businesses. We called ahead to place an order. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We even picked up some of the deliciacies that they have at the checkout counter. We have enjoyed: - Com Chay Cha Bong - interesting savory cake that I would pick up again- Egg Rolls- Combination Banh Mi- Korean BBQ Beef Banh Mi- Steamed rice with Korean BBQ Ribs- Shaking Beef fried rice- Vermicelli with Grilled pork - Thai Tea- Banh Flan- Coconut JellySomething that I wont order again was the Vietnamese iced coffee... it was delicious but I was wired for hours after enjoying it. I may have a sip if it was offered. Other than the coffee, I would try the entire menu. The food always tastes amazing. I recommend you give them a try.

One of the hidden gems here is Thai green tea, done very well with obvious taste of the tea. Definitely order as is (with ice) because the drink is already presweetened and needs the dilution. Otherwise the menu is pretty complete with basic viet dishes, made on the spot by Viet aunties shouting Vietnamese in the background. Plenty of vegetarian dishes along with rice plates and noodle soups. Would skip their bun rieu, it was a lackluster soup with one crab (?) meatball, a small fried tofu, and a lonely floating tomato slice. Their selection of already made snacks are fun and well-made. Overall a neat little hidden gem in the southeast side of town. If you come off hours, there is a few tables to sit. Avoid the crazy crowds during peak hours and call ahead to get to go.The only downside is the service is a little slow, even during off hours. There are times when I came here when they simply forgot my order, once they skipped over my order completely then reprinted my order and placed me back in line like I wasn't already there for 30 minutes.

I use to order from here all the time. Yesterday, I was craving Salmon Shaking Hot Pot and I ordered it from Door Dash, there was hair in my food. So, I decided not to order from here anymore.
