Great selection of beer with a great ambiance for a family meal or meal with friends. With good and a kind staff I recommend vicious for anytime of day.

I wasn't too impressed with this place overall--it felt quite average. However, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was ideal for catching up with friends over dinner. I had a burger that was decent, the fries were quite good, but the pretzel was just okay, not as good as it was last time.

My first visit to Vicious Fishes in Fuquay on a Thursday for lunch. My sister-in-love treated me at one of her favorite places. There was no wait and we were quickly seated. This place is huge and lots of outdoor seating too. It was busy around 1p or so...but not crowded. She raved about the pimento cheese dip with chips and pork rinds and insisted I try it first. Delish! She even asked the waitress what kind of cheese is in the white pimento cheese dip. We had good service too. I had the fish and chips and it was tasty. Lightly seasoned fish with lots of seasoned hot fries and Cole slaw. Overall a lovely lunch experience.

Extremely disappointed in the fish and chips. Haddock was small and thin but did taste ok. Fries were over cooked. $14.95 for a tiny sliver of fish and over cooked fries. Soda was over priced in my opinion, $2.95. My wife enjoyed her Ruben. Server started being nice but attitude changed after I questioned the size and price. Manager did comp us $6.50 and was very apologetic. Nice atmosphere little noisy but then I'm old. Overall not to impressed.

Great food, great service. Hefeweizen and beer cheese/pretzel was on point. Hidden gem that I would highly recommend!

I'm really impressed with this place. Maybe I've been Door Dashing so much that I've forgotten what fresh, fairly-priced, restaurant food should be. We made reservations for 2 at 6:15. We probably could have walked in but we'd have a bit of a wait. The place is pretty big. It's bigger than your average sports bar. There's a whole back side that you'd think is a patio the way it looks but it's insulated and felt the same temp as the rest of the restaurant. It was 40° tonight by the way. I ordered a "tulip" of their Imperial Juicy IPA "Double Dragons". Wow, love this beer and need to find it in a store. $7 was a deal for a double IPA. I ordered the 2 fish tacos and they were perfect ($14.95) and a side of house fries with beer cheese. Fish was very crisp, the slaw was delicious and it was presented well. Definitely go for the extra 2 tacos for $5! I have lunch for tomorrow. My 14 year old son and I ate burger aficionados and while I didn't taste his burger, it looked divine. He wanted it medium rare but they only do pink or not pink. No big deal. They had quite a great selection of burgers. We had buffalo wings for an appetizer and they were good. Nice and crispy and decent size. I wasn't going to entertain the dessert menu because I was so full but I'm always curious what they serve. I saw their special -- Orange White Chocolate Cheesecake. At first I figured it would be too sweet but our server said it was a hint of orange zest and not overpowering. While I wish the slice was a tad bigger...OH EM GEEE...in my TOP 2-3 BEST CHEESECAKES I've ever had. Perfect consistency, sweetness and the orange zest was a dream. Like a grownup creamsicle. Wow. Our server was attentive but not intrusive and I was pleasantly surprised to see the owner/manager to come through and ask tables how everything was and if they needed anything. I haven't seen that in a while. In summary, we will definitely be back, I will definitely try a burger and will absolutely be taking another slice of cheesecake home.

The food was good and so was the service. We had a great waiter and he checked on us very often.

We went here for lunch and had a great experience. The service was fantastic. Our server was very friendly and gave us good recommendations. I had the onion soup which was very very good. My wife got the half sandwich and salad special. The chicken salad was fresh and delicious. The salad had lots of veggies and a nice dressing. The place has a very nice easygoing vibe. Two people from the kitchen brought us our food in a very timely fashion. This is a good lunch spot for singles, couples or large group.

This is only my second time visiting. The first time I got the Coastal Cobb Salad with blackened shrimp and it was delicious. Such a big salad and definitely worth the price.Last night I ordered the Pork Belly Bowl. Holy smokes it was good! Pork belly on sticky rice with a light drizzle of an Asian sauce and then topped with a tiny bit of chili oil. It comes with broccoli, but I substituted sautéed spinach with garlic which was delicious. It was easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The price was great. I came home and told my family about it and now we are planning to go back and I am pretty sure everyone except the 2 year old will be ordering the pork belly bowl! Our server was great and was quick on the water refills. We stayed quite a while since we were celebrating a birthday and she checked on us often, but not too often.Do not hesitate to go. There is also a good deal of outside seating for when it is not 90°+ outside.
