I was a BIG fan of Jaguar Sun and was devasted when they closed. However, when I heard about ViceVersa being from the team behind Jaguar Sun, I was SO excited to give it a try! I went on a saturday night with my husband and was able to secure a resy 2 days in advance. The place in general reminded me so much of Jaguar. Same vibes: tiny place, great (and kinda loud) music, dim lights, cool decor. First impressions were the best possible! I had an espresso martini that was a 8/10 in my opinion. It was good, but Ive had better ones. My husband had the Italian beer and loved it. For food we ordered the Wagyu Carpaccio that was SURPRISINGLY good - very tasty and creamy. And the margherita pizza that is a very well executed neapolitan style pizza. Service was also great so nothing really disappointed. Experience was 10/10 and I will definitely go back to try the other pizza flavours!

Located right inside the Elser Hotel, it's easy and convenient if you're staying here. They are only open for dinner and have happy hours during the week, up to Thursdays. It was very busy when we got there around 6pm. As an out of towner, drinks were a little different....beers were different. They did have martinis and daiquiris though. We ordered oysters, which were absolutely superb! And then we ordered the spicy pepperoni pizza, and somehow I missed that it had spicy honey on it...so I was not a fan of the sweetness on my pizza. Overall, I'd give them a 4 out of 5 stars.

This cute little spot was a perfect experience! Very cozy and intimate - great for a date night. Definitely on the pricier side, but everything was so worth it. My favorite was the Wagyu carpaccio- it's one of the best I've had. The shrimp crudo was spicy and delicious. Scallops were great but didn't stand out compared to the other dishes.Only thing I didn't like was the Pizza-Tini but I took that risk when ordering! Bartender had no issues exchanging it for me & the turnaround time for the food and service was great. I can't wait to go back!

From the team at Jaguar Sun and bartender Valentino Longo, a star was born! The star, would be ViceVersa Miami. This spot is a total dream. If you want an aperitivo, this is you place. If you want a pizza, this is your place. If you want to dabble in crudos from the raw bar, this is your place. Most importantly, if you want to experience great food and the kind of friendly and welcoming service you can expect from the team at Jaguar Sun, this is your place as well.First of all - the design of the restaurant itself is so cool. It's rich, emerald green interiors with fun prints to add a bit of color. The prints match the uniforms, which are also very festive.Onto the food. The mortadella pizza is something that I have dreamt about since I tried it. I also really enjoyed the scallop crudo and tuna tartare. There is a pizza called bad first date, and while I have yet to try, the name is hilarious and I have to add it to my rotation soon.As for the drinks, the name Viceversa means there is no right time for an aperitivo - and this is something that I most certainly agree with! I'm a negroni and martini girlie, so this menu speaks to me. I've tried the negroni, the sbagliato, the Martini Doppio - a slightly dirty gibson - and I loved them all.Welcome to the neighborhood, ViceVersa! We love you already!

Ahhh.. Jaguar Sun's absence is still a gaping hole in downtown Miami; however, as everything evolves with time, I'm really happy about what's happening at ViceVersa. With some of the same crew and reminisce, they managed to keep the cool while creating something new. Dimly lit, real candles, very nice crafted mulled spicy margarita and Negroni's as well as pretty good food! Only the seating does seem less, and the bar seats we snagged weren't the most comfortable (no backs, tight space). The spicy bomb shrimp appetizer surely exploded with flavor. While I could appreciate the refreshing taste of the fennel salad, I can see how it might not hit for everyone. Thankfully they had a vegan (in the form of no cheese) pizza to join their cheesy selections. Maybe in the future they might consider a true vegan cheese (I know this may not be the most popular for true Italian blood) option as or more selection for the lactose challenged. Nevertheless, the dough was gooey, yet crispy and super fresh. Margarita sauce perfect with bold notes of garlic. The taste was all very good. None survived. I also appreciated they had a sorbet selection for a sweet ending option for those vegan or dairy challenged. While it fires on a lot of positive notes, I'll be curious to track how the menu might evolve in time. Hopefully the seating situation as much as possible too, but they probably honestly do the best with the limited space they have. Juan, an OG server from JagSun, took incredible care of us. Explained the menu well. Paused and gave us time when we needed. Made sure our waters were topped off and plates arranged properly, and the signature for me that servers from JagSun did really well, repositioning themselves to make sure all members of the party could comfortably hear and see him. It's the small things that really do make the experience better. This will be a five star review for me. It's incredibly welcome addition to downtown Miami. There're doing a lot of things right, and also are trying some authentic, bold introductions to the founder's Italian heritage. I'd return, but preferably with a secured reservation if food is involved. I hope to be back and wish them a lot of success. The place did seem at capacity at my Friday night visit, so it already seems like a favorite!Ps. Could appreciate the vibey but not overly loud music selection as well. While it's a place to share in conversation, the tightness of the restaurant and the density of the crowd does make this a little harder at times. It's less spaced out than JagSun.

Man, this was SUCH a good idea! Great ambiance, service, food and drink. Came here on a whim to fight off a little cabin fever - very clutch. Had the spicy pepperoni and the clam pizza, which was the standout. Shoutout to Juan for his recs and overall vibe, definitely ensured our first time was on point.

Located inside the Elser hotel this restaurant is small but mighty. It's a cool relaxed restaurant vibe with a modern twist. The servers look like they're wearing cool streetwear and the music is great. The "let's grab a bite after work" vibes are amazing. But, don't let the casual nature of this restaurant fool you. The seating is close and intimate to those around you since it is a smaller place but the staff here was so attentive but not over bearing. They could tell when you just want to talk to the people you're with or when you need something. After recommending me some popular items on the menu after each coarse I had the plates and utensils were removed of the table and new plates and utensils replaced the used ones. The table was wiped between each coarse as well. The drinks! I mean they were amazing. I had the sbagliato which is a classic drink from Italy and it was refreshing yet punchy. The food was crazy good. Highly recommend the Wagyu carpaccio with the cured egg yolk shaved on top and the aioli on the bottom is delicious. I don't know what they toast the bread they use for the carpaccio in but it is addictive. The duck fat flatbread is dangerously good I recommend getting the Stracciatella to dip in it. The warm flatbread fresh from the pizza oven with the coolness of the creamy cheese. Amazing! The pizza is also delicious. I got the spicy pepperoni pizza with this chili and honey and it was great. To be honest I wish I would have gotten something more adventurous for the pizza but, it was still good. Now, the dessert "chefs kiss" the housemade gelato served with some sea salt and olive oil absolutely delicious 10/10 highly recommend. My only qualm is the parking but, it's Miami it's always like that. Will be coming back again to try more pizza!

Another great concept from the folks at Jaguar Sun. My boo and I made a res for a Friday night, and we had an awesome time. Service was impeccable from start to finish and the food was DIVINE. We started with some drinks, and my Negroni Sbagliato was the size of my head (the owner came by and explained that they serve the drink in the original glasses that Negronis were served in where they were invented). We split a flatbread topped with stracciatella, the soppressata pizza, a tuna tartare and a caesar salad. Everything was decently portioned, super fresh and flavorful. The place is small (located in a hotel lobby), but with a great ambiance. Definitely make a res or try your luck with a seat at the bar. As for parking, it's located across the street from the American Airlines Arena (I will never call it the Kaseya Center), so there's a few lots and street parking nearby.

Located in the lobby of the Elser Hotel, this restaurant has a great ambiance, Nice music that's not too loud so you can have a conversation and dim lighting. The service was consistent and speedy. The menu consists of pizza and appetizers. It's a limited menu, but the food is fresh and delicious. I ordered the wagyu carpaccio. It had an amazing truffle taste to it and melted in my mouth. I also got the flatbread and it was steaming hot in all the right ways and so flavorful. I added anchovies for an additional charge which I kind of regret given how salty they were. I ended up using the extra flatbread to eat the rest of my carpaccio and it was a mouth watering match. Last but not least, I also had the scallops. The celery and tomato water complimented the scallops so well. I've never had this flavor profile before. After I finished the scallops, I literally drank the rest of the tomato water. This is a great new restaurant to try, especially if you're staying in the Elser Hotel.
