The staff was friendly and the food was good and hot. The crawfish were small and a little over cooked. Overall the food had great flavor and was a great value!

This is a location on the north side of Houston who is really known for their food. A good friend of mines , Johann , recommended the food because he believed the food is just as good as N.Orleans. Well, I will say I miss the N.O. And I miss the food. I ordered crawfish, gumbo and wings with fries. Now the commute for the driver was extremely far which is why this earned four stars . For the crawfish, they were extremely nice sized. Very juicy , but the seasoning tasted as if the crawfish could've sat and soaked up the flavor longer. The gumbo was just the juice , we didn't get any rice. And the wings were a little under seasoned but nothing that some seasoning all couldn't fix. All together the food is decent no major complaints about the food just minor fixtures that will make the food excellent. Wishing this company the best!

Food is great but POOR customer service. The owner is nice and polite but the cooks/chefs... my goodness. They're (well one in particular) is giving his business a bad name. Cursing, attitudes, etc... is really not called for. Multiple times I've come here and honestly its the same person with the same attitude. You walk up and say excuse me like 4 times before you're acknowledged... again... the Food is fire. But that customer service is why I'm giving it 2 stars.

I stopped by here the other day to try out this new Cajun place. I had the fried ribs and they were amazing! A generous portion of ribs, fried crisp on the outside and still tender inside. Salted perfectly, right on that line between too much and too little. The signature sauce comes separate, which I appreciated because it is very sweet so a light touch was perfect. I was blown away. The fries with it were OK (I like mine crisper), but seasoned with cajun spices, which I like a lot. Also had a "real deal" blueberry lemonade which was a nice complement. Finished it off with one of their pralines, which was very tasty and a great end to the meal. This is a new business--they know how to cook but have some rough spots. The location is tricky--you need to enter at the storage place and go past Tacqueria Las Penas (not bad, but not in this league). They would like to have a better place. I had to listen for their generator to be sure they were open, it was hard to tell. When I ordered, I was told it would be 20 minutes for the food (!). Not sure if it would always take this long for the fried ribs (I'm sure a lot of other things are ready to go) or if the fryer oil just wasn't hot yet. I went and got gas. Forgive them and try it! Or call ahead, they are happy to hear from you. They are friendly and polite, and ready to please. These folks know how to cook, and there are not that many Cajun choices in this area.

This is a food truck I've heard great things about until I went. I walked up to the location and looked for the menu or a QR code so I could find out the prices because they had pictures but no prices on the side of the truck. The lady at the window said they had no menu anywhere so I had to ask her at least 10 to 15 times distant things that should've been on a menu for customers. I bought some crawfish egg rolls, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, order of friend ribs and a shrimp and fish plate with fries. The food tasted great but the service and no menu was so terrible the experience was only 2.5 stars really.

It's a food truck. It's a good food truck. That means fancy seats, lights, and menus are not here. You are outside, so respect the sun. The pricing is pretty decent. The one person inside the truck who took my order and served me my food was really nice. She informed me of what items she currently had, made suggestions based on what I felt like eating, and smiled the entire time she serviced me. This isn't someone claiming Louisiana roots from 5 generations ago when their kin folk lived on the Louisiana side of the Texas-Louisiana border. She's from the East Bank of New Orleans, and you can hear it in her speech. Let's get to the nitty gritty... the food. Overall, I tasted enough spice and quality to warrant going back to explore more menu items. I was definitely pleased to know that she served fried ribs, considering I've never had those before. Out of all the fried items I had, which ranged from fries to oysters, nothing was fried hard, and nothing was burnt. I will give this place more of my money. Side note: The pecan candy lady that makes the pralines for this establishment is okay as well. She makes a firm textured pecan candy. Some people may not like that, but I'm a fan. It is not overly sweet. For the price point, I would expect a thicker piece, but that may be because I'm spoiled by the pecan candy maker in Dallas (check my reviews of some time ago). All in all, come here and find something to chew on. I think you'll be as pleased as I am.
